With a serious face, Legolas addressed them. "I have a mission for the both of you".

"Horny Assassin, Ghost Fe…"

"Ghost Sentry sir". Ghost Sentry bowed and politely corrected.

Legolas continued. "I am a benevolent being, I began observing the both of you since you came in my moment of need to rescue me from my plight".

"When against the Clown Society, I called for help and you both responded. For that, I am grateful and was why I agreed to take the both of you in".

Both players rubbed their heads, clearly, they were flattered by his words and like expected, Horny Assassin's reaction was even more ridiculous as he laughed and revealed his white teeth.

Legolas ignored the interruption and continued. "Once again, I was in a moment of need and sought for help from the both of you and you responded".

"It was due to your help that the citizens of the Blue Scale Prefecture were able to escape successfully from the center of the attack".

"All these missions were deliberately made by me; it was a test of trust".

"Well, congratulations, the both of you passed".

"By passing, you met the requirements to make it into my team. Like you will soon know, the Clown Society is a powerful force that seeks to destroy this world by destroying the current order that keeps it stable".

"The Clown Society is our greatest enemy, join my quest to eradicate them".

Horny Assassin and Ghost Sentry's jaws dropped.

They both screamed in their minds. 'Holy sh*t, we really hit the jackpot, we actually met an NPC that could trigger main storyline missions'.

"Am I dreaming, if I am, don't wake me up". Horny Assassin like expected was the first to voice his astonishment at the notification before him.

"Huh?" Legolas was surprised at his reaction since he could not see the new mission that was triggered in their player interface status.

"Is anything the problem?" He asked.

Both players did not respond with words, they responded with their actions. They kneeled down and kowtowed before him. "Master, we pledge to follow you".

"…" Legolas was even more surprised, he looked at them speechlessly.

Well, he did not expect this but it still did the job so he was satisfied.

Once they accepted the mission, another pop-up notification appeared in Legolas's interface status and he made the required settings.

With Aaron's help, the injured Grade A Elementalist that was stuck in the grey world, Legolas had access to all the Elementalist knowledge that he needed.

He put only 1 there first to entice them and see their reactions.

Like he expected, on seeing the newly created faction, Horny Assassin and Ghost Sentry reacted like kids who were just taken to the supermarket for the first time. The only thing was that they needed currencies to get anything.

Faction points and experience points were the only way to get anything in the faction shop. Faction points could be gained by completing missions for him.

This was the only way that Legolas could think of to retain the 2 player's loyalty, through benefit and he was right, they were completely bought in.

Originally, Ghost Sentry aspired to become a pro player playing as a Pugilist. But having seen Legolas in action, his conviction wavered and now that the opportunity was presented before him, he decided to become a Summoner.

While Ghost Sentry took the Summoner basic knowledge, Ghost Assassin instead took the Elementalist basic knowledge.

"I've always wanted to be an Elementalist".

"Conjuring fire like Merlin, manipulating the elements like the Avatar…"

"Hahaha, I f*cking run this game!"

Once they got the class knowledge, with Legolas's help, both players did not encounter any troubles as they smoothly became Grade F superhuman players.

After that, Legolas retired to sleep.

Both players did not sleep immediately though, Ghost Sentry and Horny Assassin soon got busy as they got set to flood the player global forum with oppressive screenshots that would ignite a virtual war.

Ghost Sentry's was calmer, but Horny Assassin's messages really ignited a war.
