Chapter 47 New Grade D Mission- Assassination Attempt!

The sun cast a red shadow over the Blue Scale prefecture as it finally started receding into the clouds, bringing an end to a busy day.

Since the advent of the Clown Society 3 days ago, despite the fact that the Blue Scale prefecture was among the lucky few that survived the terrorist attacks, the prefecture was still forced into a state of unrest.

Governor Bam tried his best to bolster the defenses of the prefecture, which after some time finally started restoring the confidence of the citizens.

On this cool evening, a set of strangers arrived inside the prefecture.

Once they arrived, their leader who was clad in blue designated them into different teams. The Element Bomb installation team was sent into various corners of the prefecture to set the prepared Element Bombs.

As for the others, they went into the town in search of information. Just 15 minutes later, they all returned to their leader having got what they wanted.

"Blue Master, we found the warrior who evaded the Lord's energy check".

"Praises of him are being sung around the town, he is rumored to have played a huge role in spoiling the divine mandate of the Lord's loyal psychopaths".

The leader who was clad in blue attire finally turned to face his subordinates. "Did you get his current location?"

"Yes, he is rumored to be staying in the merchant, Mr. Keane's mansion".

"Good!" The burly leader in blue nodded. "Send my orders to the other teams, once the bombs are ready, they should be immediately triggered".

"As for the rest of you, follow me".

The leader's eyes sparkled coldly. "Let the Keane household become the first victim of the Clown Revolution in the Blue Scale Prefecture".

"Yes!" Horny Assassin pumped his fists in the air.

"I love this NPC so much man, his missions are the weirdest that I've seen in any game but oh boy, how much I love them".

"I'm coming master, wait for me!" Without waiting for a reply from Legolas, Horny Assassin picked up speed as he sprinted away to go get the food.

On seeing the player dash away like a rat hunting for food, Legolas smiled and shook his head before placing his hand to his chin in deep thought.

Once the beta testing started, his curiosity to meet players hit a peak. He hoped that they would perhaps give him more clues to satisfy his curiosity on the mystery behind his reincarnation, but so far, he didn't have any meaningful results.

For the past few hours since he met the eccentric player, Horny Assassin, he kept on interacting with him to try getting clues but he failed.

And for some reason, despite him asking, there seemed to be a restriction preventing players from revealing their identity as game players in this world.

"Is this to make the game more realistic or is this part of the manipulations of the so-called God of Games? I'm so curious to know now".

He still had a lot of unanswered questions on his reincarnation and the game.

Having tried and still not getting any clues to his reincarnation, Legolas gave up but he still kept Horny Assassin as he did other experiments on this player.

For him to reincarnate into this world and to still meet players, fate must have something in store for them and he wanted to discover it now.

Through giving constant silly missions, he was able to know a lot more about his NPC functions. It made things a lot easier for him since he could issue missions and make the players become his grunt workers.

He had a daily limit for number of missions and mission rewards, there were other features but for some reason, he felt that he was still missing something.

He refused to believe that his NPC functions was just for him to give missions.

"Master, here". Horny Assassin returned and gave him the food enthusiastically, prompting a smile on Legolas's face.

"Hehe, nice business". Horny Assassin was ecstatic.

Without hesitation, he saved the notification before posting it in the global forum, causing another stir. Other players felt indignant that he was the first player to meet this special NPC.

"Hahaha, losers". He laughed at all the whining players.

As Horny Assassin did all this, Legolas ate his food while also observing the global forum. Till now, he still could not communicate in the player forum, he was satisfied with just spying on their conversations though.

He already discovered that getting to spy on them could be useful at times.

As Horny Assassin continued causing mayhem in the global forum, an idea suddenly hit Legolas and being idle, he decided to do it.

He did not give a damn about this as he stared with wide starry eyes. "5000 Experience Points reward?!"

"Manchester f*cking united!"

"Damn, take it! Take it!"

Legolas's eyes widened as wide as saucers. "This works too?!"

Instantly, his imaginative brain went to work as it blasted with all boosters on. This discovery already sent in motion hundreds of plans in his head that could make his journey to the top as a Summoner much smoother.

Before Legolas could fully settle down and think about any of them though, his virtual interface lit up again, this time in red, it was an emergency mission.
