Chapter 1566 Orbs While Sivan is thinking about what Sam could be doing next, Sam is also thinking about what Sivan would be throwing next.

He felt a slight stabbing pain in his leg and he is sure why it is coming. One of the metal shards was not blocked completely and it stabbed his leg.

He could feel the warm blood slowly dripping down.

Sam is already having trouble with the movement because of the massive handicap he had. Now even the one leg he had is damaged slightly. The situation is only getting worse.

Even while thinking that, Sam didn't stop making the orbs.

He just took advantage of the time that he got because of Sivan's slight confusion.

But it didn't last long. As he was creating one orb after another, Sivan came back to his senses, and instead of attacking Sam, he finally focused on the energy orbs.

He withdrew the elemental fusion and shot a fireball at the nearest orb. But Sam just made the energy ball move away from that spot. He didn't let it get hit.

Apart from that, he even shot a few energy bullets at Sivan which made his focus shift back to Sam, albeit for a moment.

Sivan knew that Sam is not creating these orbs for no reason. There is definitely something important going on with them. But he just couldn't understand what it is.

After a few tries of different attacks, his futile attempts to mess with the energy orbs finally stopped. He looked at Sam who is slightly exhausted and said hatefully.

"Do what you want with them. You need to be alive and capable of using them for whatever you are planning to do. I will kill you before that and will see if your dead body can use them."

He lunged forward and threw a punch with void style at Sam.

Sam activated an energy barrier and blocked the punch. He took the recoil of the explosion and jumped backward trying not to get the full brunt of that explosion.

But Sivan didn't stop, in fact, he sped up and reached the spot where Sivan was about to land and threw a roundhouse kick to Sam's face.

Sam barely blocked with the staff covered with an energy shield, but still took the major part of the force as he crashed into the ground on the side.

Sam never felt so weak in his life.

He suddenly felt like he should have taken the clan's leader's offer to get the new mechanical limbs, even if they are going to be mediocre.

It could be said that he became too cocky and thought that Sivan wouldn't be this good with his body. But now there is no time for regrets. All he can do is see through this with whatever he has at hand.

He shot energy bullets at Sivan who is coming at him from different directions. They are the best means to stop Sivan.

Sam noticed that he is trying to imitate his movements from the memory. Which made it easier for him. As time passed, he managed to grasp the movements and anticipated them which made it easier for him to block them or even stop them with energy bullets.

The battle went on like that and Sam is stuck in the defensive. Of course, he is still making energy orbs and Sivan is occasionally using the bloodline arts.

The whole area turned into a chaotic mess because of their battle and Sam kept on hopping around and surrounding himself with barriers throughout.

After a few minutes, he finally stopped.

He panted heavily as he wiped the sweat off of his forehead.

He has several injuries all over his body. Burns, slashes, stabs, there are all kinds of injuries. But he started smiling instead of feeling the pain.

He looked at Sivan who is walking toward him with a smirk on his face.

"What are you smiling at, you bastard? Did you finally come to terms with your stupid fate?"

Sivan asked arrogantly. He finally felt like he really lived after a long time. All this while even with the new body, new memories, new authority, and the new riches he obtained, he didn't feel alive, because they belonged to someone else.

There was still a chance that someone else would just take them away.

He was insecure and felt inadequate to hold them. But in the last few months, he managed to master so much of this body. He should really thank his lucky stars for that.

"I never come into terms with my fate. I always fight it."

"Fate is decided by the heavens and from your memories, they never favored you much. What is the point of fighting it again and again? It is your fate to end up like this. Defeated, lost, exhausted, and dead."

Sivan said as he started light elemental fusion. His body turned into a golden light mass. He decided to activate the second bloodline art of the Golden sun crow.

"Since you are going to die now, let me just use the golden sun crow's bloodline that you have used so much in this life.

Don't worry though. I will take your place and take great care of your beasts and I will also take your place in the game that was created by the gods and achieve the results that you wanted and much more.

Once again, thank you for leaving everything to me."

As he spoke, his body emitted massive light rays to the surroundings destroying everything in their path. But as soon as they spread out, he forcefully compressed them all to the front and aimed them at Sam.

At this moment, Sam used the energy barrier once again and this time he almost used up all of his energy and used an energy bullet and explosion and jump from the line of fire.

But the light beam just kept on following him as he moved from one spot to another clumsily.

After dodging it so much, Sam finally felt his leg give in, so he turned to the side and used the staff to shoot out a large energy beam to directly intercept the attack.

*BOOM*

The energy beam exploded and most of the effectiveness of the light beam is gone as it came at Sam crazily.

Sam took the light beam that hit him squarely on the chest and crashed to the ground while spitting out blood.

His body is completely corroded with the light elemental energy and he felt like he is burning up. It is almost like he is being cooked alive.

The dust settled and Sivan looked at Sam with walking toward him.

"Why are you so persistent Sam, give in."

Sivan said as he aimed another light beam at Sam ready to shoot.

"Don't."

Sam said out loud.

Sivan frowned and stopped for a moment.

"What? You have something to say now?"

"No to you, you asshole. I am talking to someone else."

Sam said as he showed his communication token. Sivan frowned and looked around. He saw that Giyon is currently standing on the wall and is ready to make a move on him.

He frowned and before he could react, all the orbs that Sam controlled until now suddenly came and surrounded him.

Sivan looked at the orbs and then at Sam.

"Do you really think you can do something with them in your current state?"

"You can find that out yourself."

"Too bad, you don't have the time."

Sivan shot the light beam, but the orbs that are hovering over him suddenly created a barrier around Sivan trapping the light beam inside. It was deflected and sent back directly at Sivan who caught it with his hand by instinct.

He was stunned by what he saw.

The barrier felt completely unfamiliar and yet eerily dangerous to him. Sam sat up with the help of his staff and leaned against the rock.

He spat out the blood that seeped into his mouth and he looked at Sivan.

"It is my turn, you wannabe prick."

As he said those words orbs started moving once again, but the barrier didn't disappear, instead it started twisting itself and trying to trap Sivan like a blanket coiling around him all over.

Sivan started swinging his arms around and tried to destroy the energy coils that are coming at him.

But his punches felt like they are hitting clouds. He couldn't even feel any impact. He shifted to ripple and void style immediately to see if he could do any damage.

The energy coil was broken with the punch, but to his surprise, it reformed again.

Sivan felt confused and afraid.

As he tried to get out of this, one of the fabrics of the coiled energy brushed past his palm.

"HISSSSS."

Sivan hissed in pain with gritted teeth. He could see the blood dripping from the palm. The flesh was cleanly removed from the spot and it is so clean that it looked like someone carved it with a very sharp knife.
