Hundreds of millions of comments were left on the comment section of the different articles above as the people of the Plexar Federation debated passionately.

[[#LuoYan: Somebody pinch me and tell me I'm dreaming. There's no way my general would do such a thing!

#Greud: Just coming from watching the entire press conference live on a different website. I went in the hopes of getting an answer to the claims of a mandron's genetic mutation, I came out shellshocked and with my three world view collapsed. It would take years for me to be able to recover from this damage.

#CryMeARiver: I can't even bear to hear the words 'General Ding' anymore. My little brother kept screaming about how impossible it was and I want to believe him but the reaction of the Marshals is making it very difficult to do so...

#DisappointedNeitizen: However much I loved General Ding is however much I hate him now!

#Kunli: Well, well, well... where are the die hard fans of General Ding? Ha! Do you all feel stupid now? I never really liked that so called general. His grandfather is the THIRD MARSHAL, he is in the THIRD ARMY and you expect his achievements to be based on his 'own hardwork?' BAH! I don't believe it!

#ILoveGeneralDing: @Kunli, Don't go too far! I don't believe that the general would do such a thing! You could clearly hear the hurt in his voice as he said those words. The General was clearly under duress and extreme pressure when he heard of his medical state! Investigations haven't even been carried out by the Twelve-army Coalition yet. When is it the turn of a fool like you to speak?!

#Kunli: @ILoveGeneralDing, You are the fool! Your entire family are fools! Your beloved General is a fool! The entire Ding family are fools!

#ILoveGeneralDing: @Kunli, You are clearly an attention starved underage kid coming here to take out your anger and bitterness on General Ding. He isn't responsible for whatever sh**y thing that is going on in your sh**y life. Grow up!

#BaHe: Everyone should please calm down. I think we're being too hasty about this. Proper investigations haven't even been carried out yet.

#Rudja: BaHe, I applaud you for your reasoning! This is how you differentiate a loyal admirer from the fickle ones that just loved the general because everyone else loved him!

#Skye: @Rudja, What are your words supposed to mean? The general admitted it himself! Do you think everyone has holes for brains? Even the Third Marshal's expression was off, General Ding is clearly guilty!

#GeneralDingForLife: I'm just here watching as the people doubting the general make fools of themselves. 'A mandron killed a Xor queen.' HA! People who think this way have never truly seen a Xor queen!

#PopcornEnthusiast: Everyone else;*Fighting over whether the General is guilty of merit theft or not*

Me: *Did the general just attempt to get together with a MANDRON... MALE?!!!!*

#BigYu: @PopcornEnthusiast, Ha Ha Ha. Thank you for pointing that out. The General Ding fanatics seemed to have glossed over that declaration. To those claiming he is innocent. How do you explain his shameless scum behaviour of trying to get together with another person whilst his fiance was in the same room?

#CaiPei: @BigYu, If you don't know what do do with your bracelet, you better log off the Federation Network and destroy that bracelet of yours! The general's voice was so stiff when he suggested to get together with that mandron. He was clearly manipulated by that mandron! Wasn't that obvious?!

#Aghae: @CaiPei, I think so too. That mandron made me feel very off. He seemed so different from typical mandrons. Although his words appeared to be straightforward, they were also weirdly executed. He gives me the creeps. That genetic mutation clearly affected more than just his body!

#Phraj: I think it's a bad idea that the Twelve-army Coalition are thinking of a way to create some kind of immunity to magnetic energy from his genes. What if our soldiers turned stupid from such a serum? Did sci-fi movies teach them nothing?!

#Mr.Yulong: General Ding fanatics desperately trying to find fault with the victim. Tsk. Face the truth, your beloved General is a trash human being!

#MountainFlower: Me; *casually logging on the Federation Network and seeing the trending news*

Also me: *scrolling through the comments and seeing people who think it is perfectly reasonable to think that a general -who had led armies to the battlefield... repeatedly- was manipulated by a mandron*

Me: *Drinking an entire vial of lethal poison so I can leave this Universe and escape the stupidity of my fellow civilians* ]]

As the debates raged on, He Yuan completed the first extraction on Ding Weimin. The special one had been sedated beforehand so they were both spared the trouble of having to stare at each other through the glass up close.

It would take two more extractions in the following two days for the magnetic energy to be completely cleared up so a place was arranged at the P.R Institute for Ding Weimin. He was taken away soon after by the P.R institute officials with the Ding parents eagerly following behind.

Yang Xue's stats had been displayed during the extraction process for all to see so the audience finally got the demonstration they sought.

Finally, the press conference was put to an official end.m and the guests began taking their leave one after the other. Jin Qi stared hard at He Yuan for a while before nodding at her grandfather and leaving the venue too.

When it was just the Marshals, some reporters, the government officials and esteemed guests on the podium left, the Sixth Marshal calmly looked to He Yuan. "You... were the one who killed the second Xor queen?"

She truly found it hard to believe and even the other Marshals and guests looked over. When Ding Weimin had killed the first Xor queen, he had been in outer space and fully armed in his Tech suit -although the device fell apart in the end.

As for the mandron... the report was that he, alongside Lieutenant Jin and General Ding, had to take off their Tech suits before entering the cave due to the high tension and interferance from the magnetic energy that made it hard to operate so how exactly did the mandron kill the second Xor queen?!

He Yuan looked at the stern faced Marshals and subconsciously squared his shoulders with his hands clasped behind his back as he answered, "Hm."

The Sixth Marshal wanted to follow up with the question, 'how?' but she held herself back. Investigations had not been carried out by the Twelve-army Coalition yet so it was okay to ask the mandron if he was the one who did it but a different thing to ask how as that would only mean that she believed the mandron had indeed killed the Xor queen.

Without proper investigation and a verdict from the Marshal court, jumping into conclusions like that would only discredit the Twelve-army Coalition in the eyes of the people. This could not be helped as even if they were people who were quick to denounce General Ding, they were also people who adamantly held on to their faith in him.

The day finally came to an end.

----------------------------

For the next two days, He Yuan carried out the extraction on Ding Weimin at the P.R Institute. The special one had of course requested to speak to him multiple times but he strictly refused and even demanded that Ding Weimin was sedated before each extraction process was carried out.

The Ding parents were also not allowed as he didn't want any drama from Xia Yueyu.

On the other hand, some of Ding Weimin's die hard fans camped out in front of the P.R Institute staging protests and seeking justice for their beloved who was 'framed.'

The Third Marshal had returned to the Third army base Planet as he had to quickly cover his tracks to hide the fact that he had blocked Yang Xue's medical discharge and reenlistment form and also the mandron's participation in the extermination of the second Xor queen.

The Second Marshal also returned to the Second army base Planet with plans of forming alliances with some stronger Marshals. The Third Marshal had an alliance with four other Marshals, which he had been banking on to get his granddaughter to succeed him but it seemed that plan was now a flop.

Lastly, Jin Qi returned to the Third army base Planet. She was a soldier in Ding Weimin's special forces team after all so even if things were a little muddy for the General, ecah soldier still had their duty to fulfill. What annoyed her incessantly was the piteous and sometimes mocking looks that a few colleagues used to look at her but she could do nothing about it.

This angered her a lot and another thing that added to her anger was the fact that the Ding parents seemed to have the misconception that she would still remain with Ding Weimin. Xia Yueyu called her repeatedly to update her on his situation and also urge her not to be deceived by others.

How laughable. Her engagement with Ding Weimin was scheduled to be called off after his Marshal court trial, just to be safe.

Over on Earth, there was someone who was looking forward to the Marshal court trial. He was Yang Teng. The events at the press conference had shocked him to his bones. From Yang Xue's genetic mutation to the merit issue.

Deep down... He felt shame. If it was true that Yang Xue killed the Xor queen then.... Well he felt ashamed. He was also a soldier but had never dared to go to the frontlines and had instead stayed behind in a comfortable office but Yang Xue....

His father and sisters had all had their trials with Yang Xiang getting two years imprisonment with a fine of 200,000 credits, Yang Liqin getting five years in jail with a fine of 500,000 credits and his father getting ten years in jail with a fine of 2,000,000 credits.

The Yang mansion had been sold off in order to pay off the debt but it still wasn't enough so his father and Yang Liqin were both given extra five and ten years each -not in jail- but to work in a government owned facility after their time in jail in order to pay off their debts.

At the moment, Yang Teng had sent in his resignation form to the army. With no other Yang left free, Yang Liu was now his responsibility so he needed to be here. He had served a minimum of over two years and was not on active duty anyways so in three or so months, it should be approved.

He never really liked the army anyways and he had Jin Yusheng. Their 'relationship' confused him a lot but he wasn't starving or homeless so he felt it was good enough. On the other hand, he wondered how his father and sisters would feel when they find out about Yang Xue's achievement.

Jin Yusheng barely spared a glance at the entire incident. Did it shock him? Yes. Did it remotely affect him? No. So there was no need to bother himself.

Ding Weimin was transported back to the Ding estate after the extraction process was complete in order to begin recuperation and in exactly one week and five days after the press conference, the Federation Network received news from the Marshals.

[A Marshal Court Trial Between Plaintiff, Mr. Yang Xue, and Defendant, General Ding Weimin, Would Be Held On Earth In Two days. Justice Would Definitely Be Served!]
