Their exploration and getting further from the mission triggered the system and the person who was in control of it.

Seeing Lucas act on his own and lead his teammates, not to the way the system wanted to, made the system do something that it hasn't done since Izek's revolution began.

It took a lot of time for it to find a new player to accomplish the missions, many things had changed and made the plot different and that's why it was there to help Lucas win.

But now, more characters showed up, and the more things went left and wrong, the more it became suspicious of Izek's return.

The system thought that sealing Izek inside his own made energy pills, will make him disappear forever, but it failed. The more pills were being used, the harder chances grew that he will come back.

The system also watched Lucas's growth. The way he deals with his teammates and when enemies approach. His way and tone when he talks to Izek. Everything was different from the way it was predicted.

But why?

Why everything wasn't going the way it wanted? It gave them powers, boosts and level-ups, so why no one was following the plot of the story? Why were extra characters not forcing Lucas to follow the original storyline but just went with the flow the way he wanted?

Was it because of the way he was dealing with things? Did they like him? What made Lucas so special was that even the characters chose to obey.

Who was he? Why did choosing him to continue as protagonist ruined everything for the system?

Did Lucas have any kind of special powers? He didn't. The system checked that multiple times. Was it the power of friendship? It also wasn't the case as their trust still needed an improvement.

So why ever since Lucas appeared, everything went wrong from the very beginning? Why wouldn't he just listen and obey if he wanted his wish to be granted?

Every time he would face a new enemy, something bad would just happen. New characters and bugs that the system never heard of, new emotions and new challenges for everyone not only the protagonist.

The challenges Lucas faced, were the main thing that made him stronger in the system's eyes, but who were the bugs appearing and destroying everything?

Were they related to Izek? Or was he the one who created them?

Impossible.

The system watched Izek get mad when he finally met one, so who were they?

The organisation that even the system had never heard of. The Myroka in the beginning ruined everything for the system. They changed them forcing Lucas to change the plot.

Was the system in control of everything that was going on? Did it make a mistake by choosing the protagonist of the story, who is he to make everything turn around and follow him?

The system had to interfere to bring everything back to normal. Even if it didn't want it, the system had to help Lucas win, not the tournament anymore. But the challenges he was facing in front.

It had the power to return him to the very beginning but that would just ruin his mood and maybe make him do bad things like Izek did.

Another protagonist turned into an antagonist, it couldn't be. It wouldn't let it.

What if the system would at least send them back to the Toburo village, but not only Lucas, all of them? What would be their reaction? Will they want to carry on or just walk around as the side characters did before?

Would the system gain anything? The answers were unsure and it could no longer predict the mind of the protagonist, also not forgetting about the evil that was within him.

Nothing was right here anymore.

So did the system come up with a plan?

For them to continue everything they began to, the system had to lower its head and obey Lucas now. It was well played, but not by Lucas himself but by the bugs that kept appearing.

It could give him all the power that Lucas wanted, but it could also lead him to the same path as Izek.

One more enemy to face, it had no will to do so.

The world that the system had created was already chaotic and half of it was out of its control, so what will it do to make everything go back to normal?

What exactly is thought to begin with?

It looked seven at them through a big screen and wanted to laugh at how suspicious everything became.

The mission it gave them led the team to discover another mystery of this world. Phantoms and ghosts. If they knew more than the system did, it could lead them to the things it didn't want it to know.

If the real purpose was discovered, it could make the system break and if the system breaks, everything else will disappear. It couldn't happen.

So the system did what it thought it would be for the best; try to control them.

[System activated]

"Not you appearing again, Lucas sighed. They were already rushing to catch the phantom to get Lucas's sword back, 'what does it want now?' Lucas rubbed his eyes.

[The Avatars are not following the rules]

It spoke loudly,

"so?" Lucas frowned.

They were about to, but then some things happened and they couldn't anymore, so what did it want right now?

"System, not now, please!" Kali also interrupted.

[The Avatars Are Not Following The Rules]

This time it sounded more aggressive, "are you trying to intimidate us?" Lucas asked aloud, hoping for a 'yes' answer.

The system wasn't his best friend, but it was weirdly accepting and obeying him, 'something is not right here,' he bit his lip.

"What will happen if we will not follow the rules?" Lucas asked.

"The beginning," Haya whispered to Lucas in a cold voice.

"Wha-what? What do you mean by that?" Lucas stepped back from Haya, "hey system, what will you do now?"

"...."

It was quiet for a second, but then it spoke again [Lucas...]
