"Lucas, are you alive?"

Kali's voice hit him like a ray of sunshine in the gloomy autumn weather.

"Wh-what happened?" He leaned towards her and wiped his eyes with his hand.

"I feel like it's dejavu again." Haya interrupted him.

Lucas felt tired to reply to Haya's comment, he knew what he meant, he wasn't stupid, but the grey overcast sky didn't help him feel any better.

"Okay, let's go..." Lucas slowly stood up, with the help of Kali, "Thank you, Kali." He looked up into her pale face, "waa-waait! Kali! Why are you back in human form?" He panicked.

"Am I still dreaming?" He pinched his cheek.

"No, but we've already spent so much time here waiting for you to wake up, we need to move on." Kali raised her eyebrows gently and gave him a slight nod.

"Where should we go?" Lucas shook his head.

There was still a lot of pressure in his brain, his head pulsing as if by itself, but he tried to concentrate on making sure his team didn't hate them any more.

"Ask the system for a mission first." Xina came back out of the bushes.

Her white outfit was dirty this time and covered in a dark green colour. At the sight of that shade she immediately reminded Lucas of a man he'd just killed, "what happened to that man?" Lucas's eyes snapped open and he turned his head to the side to look for his body.

"Don't worry, I buried him." Xina's voice was calm, she sounded as if she was already used to it.

She wiped the blood from her arms with a dark, already used handkerchief. She grimaced and frowned, proving that she wasn't exactly thrilled with the situation either.

"Lucas, now that you're finally well again, we need to ask the system about the mission." Haya spoke again.

"Ho-how am I supposed to do that?" Lucas asked him, but was still looking at Xina's body language.

She wiped her whole body with the one handkerchief she'd in her hand, from her neck down to her waist.

"Lucas!" Kali raised her voice to get his attention.

He didn't listen, so she raised her hand and slapped him on the head with her palm, "Idiot, concentrate!" She added to her sentence.

Lucas was a simple guy. He liked women when they were beautiful and especially when they'd a beautiful body like Xina, but that usually was out of his reach, so he was just appreciating it with his eyes.

Her wide guitar hips were far too seductive for Lucas' eyes, her movements seemed to be in slow motion.

Her soft hand slowly removed the blood, her collarbone bones sticking out like...

"Lucas!" Kali slapped him one more time.

Seeing his reaction, Haya smiled, "I don't judge you." He spoke and slowly shook his head.

He knew why Lucas was looking at Xina and why he couldn't take his eyes off her, but one thing he didn't know was that Xina wasn't a real elf.

Her power was seduction, it was given to her as a reward by the system when she was born to complete the story.

Her mother's power was very similar, and when they created a new avatar, they decided to give her the familiar abilities.

Haya was lucky enough to meet both of them and be on the same team, but what awaited her worried him.

"Okay, call up the system, we need a mission to recover your lost points."

"My lost points?" Lucas stopped Kali's hand from hitting him again and looked to Haya.

"What're lost points?" Kali asked him too.

"You killed a person who's nothing to do with the game, for that the system reduces your points, and the more points we've the better chance we've of winning." Haya's answer was rushed, he wanted Lucas to invoke the system.

"No, first ask for the current status and completed missions, then request a mission." Haya bit his lower lip lightly.

This information was beyond his reach, since he wasn't the leader of the group, he couldn't ask the system for the updates.

"Okay ..." Lucas paused.

"What's okay, ask for status!" Kali smacked him upside the head again, she was still mad at him for looking at Xina's body

"You know Kali, I just woke up, you shouldn't be doing this..." Lucas lowered his head at Kali's attack.

"If you don't do what Haya asked you to do, I'll send you back to sleep." Kali frowned, her tone sounding mean and, in Lucas' case, probably realistic.

"Ok-okay ..." He breathed more air into his lungs, trying to mentally prepare himself for this evil system, "Activate system..." He spoke slowly, not hoping it would show itself.

[System activated]

[Ah... It's you, what do you want?]

It asked him in its cheeky tone.

Lucas had to hold back as people were watching him.

"System, tell me about our current situation and mission." He sighed and shifted his gaze to Kali.

Kali was the one who understood how petty the system could be with them both, he'd no idea how it was with Xina and Haya.

The system finally behaved like a real robot and not like a human being.

Lucas raised his brows, surprised at how obedient it was now. He put his hands on his hips and a small pleasant vibration went through his body, he was proud of himself.

[Goodbye]

"Wow..." Lucas stretched his neck

He didn't know whether to be happy about these achievements or feel like a failure, because one thing annoyed him: the system didn't add any new abilities to them.

"History doesn't change..." Haya took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

"What do you mean?" Kali and Lucas asked him the same question at the same time.

"Same story with the same ending, we can't do anything right now, let's go." Haya's tone sounded exhausting.

Haya glanced at Xina who'd lowered her head and was looking down, she wasn't looking at anyone. She looked like she was lost in her thoughts, then Haya whistled to pull her out of her thoughts,

"Nothing changes, Xina, accept it."
