"This won't do. How can a lowly girl like you be able to meet Madam Ye so easily?" One of the maidservants coldly refused Bing-Er.

"It's not necessary, I just want to ask Madam to save me. I beg you, please let me see Madam, otherwise, someone might die!" Bing-Er stepped forward and held the maid's sleeve, begging for her help.

The young maid was instantly enraged. She flung Bing'er away and said impatiently, "Scram! If you don't scram, I will call the guards to come and take you away!"

Bing-Er almost fell down to the ground after the maid threw her hand away. She steadied herself and stood still. She glanced at the young maid, then at the door of the room. She knew that the first wife was definitely inside the room. Her hands hidden in her sleeves were unconsciously clenching into fists.

The maid saw that Bing-Er was still standing there, not wanting to leave. She suddenly became angry and coldly questioned Bing-Er, "Get lost now!"

Bing-Er stopped looking at him and turned around. She left the Pure Heart Pavilion slowly.

The servant girl looked at Bing'er who was slowly turning around and sneered, "Humph, a little maid wants to see my wife?" Do you even know who you are?! " The moment the young maid finished speaking, her arm was grabbed. Following that, her chest was forcefully pushed by someone, causing her to fall to the ground uncontrollably.

Bing'er did not even look at the young maid, and instead stepped forward to push open the door. When she saw the first wife sitting at the table, sipping tea, she quickly walked up to the doctor and kowtowed three times to the first lady. Then, she raised her head and begged, "Madam, please, please save this servant and Lian'er."

"Madam, I'm sorry, this servant didn't let her in on purpose." The maidservant, who had been pushed to the ground by Bing'er, stood by the door with her head lowered, not daring to look at her.

The forehead of Bing-Er was broken. Blood was flowing out slowly from her forehead.

"How dare you, servant, break into the Madam's room without permission?" The maidservant, who had been standing beside the first wife, looked at Bing'er angrily and ordered coldly, "Servants, drag this ignorant maidservant down and beat her to a pulp!"

"Yes, Sister Min." The other young maid standing outside the door respectfully received the order and left.

"Wait a moment." The first lady spoke in an indifferent tone to stop the young maid, Ah Min, from speaking.

A-Min couldn't help but turn her head to look at the eldest lady in shock. She glared at Bing'er kneeling on the ground, and clenched her little hands into fists. "Yes ma'am." Afterwards, she said to the young maid who had just walked out, "Madam has given the order, we'll discuss this later."

The first wife placed the teacup on the table gently and played with it with her fingers. She looked at Bing'er calmly and asked, "What did you do wrong?" Her voice was full of fierceness. It was like if Bing-Er said something wrong, she would take Bing-Er's life.

She secretly swallowed a mouthful of saliva and carefully replied respectfully, "In reply to my wife, I couldn't bear to see Sister Fang bully Lian, so I talked back to Sister Fang. I didn't know that Sister Fang was so resentful that she actually accused us of stealing her red hairpin, and ordered our guards to take us to that place and beat us to death." Bing-Er told the first wife about what had happened.

After hearing Bing-Er's report, the first lady was furious. She stood up from her chair and slammed her hand on the table. "Pa!" A crisp sound rang out. Then, she clenched her hand into a fist. "How outrageous! A mere maid from the Prime Minister's Estate dares to disregard her own life and recklessly frame a young maid. Is there still no law?"

Standing beside the First Lady, Ah Min was startled by the doctor's sudden movements and words. Out of the corner of her eyes, she looked at the furious Madam Ye.

Bing-Er stretched out her hand to wipe the blood off her forehead and looked up at the first lady in surprise. Would the First Lady's strong reaction help Lian'er and her?

The first wife glanced at Bing'er and asked coldly, "Where is the maid that was captured with you?"

When Bing'er heard the first wife's question, she was immediately overjoyed. She hurriedly kowtowed three more times to the first wife. "Thank you, Madam! Thank you!" After saying that, Bing'er got up from the floor and walked to the room, "This servant will take you there now."

The first lady followed Bing'er out of the room.

"Madam, what is this?" A'Min looked at her doubtfully.

The first lady ignored the doubt in her eyes and followed Bing'er out of the room.

A-Min stood on the spot and looked at the woman's back, then walked up to her and followed her out of the room.

Bing-Er hurried ahead. She was afraid that the two men would kill Lian'er.

The first lady followed behind Bing-Er leisurely. Seeing Bing-Er's figure disappearing around the corner, she couldn't help but smile proudly.

"Madam, are you really going to help that young maid?" A'Min, who was following behind the first wife, asked as she watched her leave.

"Yes, I want to help that young maid." After finishing her sentence, the first wife couldn't help but quicken her pace.

Bing'er had just turned the corner of Zou Ao and glanced behind her. When she saw that the first lady and the others had not reached the corner yet, she lifted her skirt and quickly ran to where Lian'er was receiving her punishment.

Bing'er lifted her skirt and was about to reach the circular arch when she heard the sound of the bamboo plank hitting her body. "Pa, pa pa pa." One voice after another entered Bing-Er's ears.

Bing'er's heart immediately skipped a beat. She shouted out orders to the archway, "You are not allowed to hit Lian'er again. The big lady is here!" With that, she ran to the wooden shelf.

The two men stopped what they were doing when they heard Bing-Er. They stood on both sides of the wooden frame respectfully with the template in their hands. They looked at Lian'er who was beaten half to death expressionlessly.

Bing'er ran to the wooden shelf and saw Lian'er lying on it with a head full of sweat. She gritted her teeth and endured the pain on her body. Her buttocks were already badly mutilated, and blood dripped from them onto the ground, forming many bewitching blood-red flowers on the dried up blood stains.

Bing-Er's tears couldn't help flowing down. She kneeled in front of Lian'er and looked at Lian'er with regret and heartache. "Lian'er, I am sorry. It is all my fault." If she hadn't shown off and contradicted Sister Fang, Lian'er wouldn't have been beaten to this state. It was all her fault!

Lian'er looked up at Bing'er, panting. She smiled at her and said, "I'm fine. I knew you would come back to save me." When she finished, Lian'er fell unconscious on the wooden shelf.
