"How long have you known?" Alexi asked in a low voice as he, Cedric, and Eric walked through the halls of the CEO's floor in R Tower.

"How long have I known what?" Cedric grinned knowing that his friend wouldn't dare say it out loud and in public.

He was enjoying what time he had to mess with Alexi before the man suddenly burst out angrily when they were alone.

Cedric, of course, knew exactly what Alexi was asking and simply enjoyed messing with his friend.

Behind them the older Eric Chan remained silent, clearly deep in thought with regards to his situation.

"Don't you dare test me Cedric." Alexi was furious at this point as they reached Cedric's office.

"Mae, I have a private matter to deal with." Cedric told his assistant as he opened the door and gestured for Alexi and Eric to enter before him. "Make sure no one interrupts and also I want a summary of what I've missed right after I deal with Alexi and Eric."

Mae nodded as she continued on her work.

Cedric saw Dave slide on to his own spot to fix Cedric's schedule. His assistants had a lot of work on their hands.

Entering the room, Cedric closed the door and sighed as he faced the two men.

"What?" Cedric asked Alexi as he crossed the room and leaned against his desk, crossing his arms on his chest.

"Don't ask me what?! You know why I'm here and why I'm furious." Alexi glared at Cedric, practically shouting at his friend.

Cedric smiled and chuckled, making Alexi roll his eyes in response.

"Katerina is pregnant, how long have you and your wife known? And how the hell can you let her keep working despite that fact?!" Alexi questioned.

Cedric tilted his head to the side and looked at Eric, who was calmly seated on the couch. Alexi's anger didn't seem to bother him, but it was clear that he was worried.

"She told you?" Cedric asked Eric who simply nodded in reply.

"I'm assuming the results from the doctors came out?" Cedric asked Eric, much to Alexi's annoyance.

"I'm the one talking to you here!" Alexi pulled on Cedric's arm, making him look his friend in the eyes.

"He's the father." Cedric said simply as he returned his attention to Eric, ignoring Alexi.

"This morning." Eric confirmed. "He wasn't supposed to find out." He said as he pointed at Alexi.

"And how did you find out? I doubt the doctor told you." Cedric told Alexi.

"I was in the area." Alexi simply answered, making Cedric suspect that there was more to his story.

"Why were you in the hospital?" Cedric asked with a look of concern on his face.

No matter how annoyed or irritated he got at Alexi, he was still Cedric's friend and if any harm had come to him Cedric would not like it.

"Military training accident, I'm fine." Alexi rolled his eyes in annoyance as he saw Cedric checking him for injuries.

Cedric knew that that was code for Alexi being injured with the gangs and the mafia. He was running around with them now.

"You know, back when we were young that was fine." Cedric scolded. "You aren't some unknown person now, you're Alexander Sebastian. You aren't just the first son, you're also a public official."

"No one saw us and the mission went smoothly, no need for you to get worried, Cedric." Alexi said as he tried to end the discussion. "So how long have you known?" He asked his friend.

"That's right Cedric, how did you find out before I did?" Eric stood up from the couch and made his way to stand beside Alexi.

Being the tallest among the three he now towered Cedric, making the CEO look up at the person he always viewed as an older brother.

"I live with the woman, I come from a family of doctors and I had no idea that she was suffering symptoms or that she was even late." Eric told Cedric as he placed a hand on his hip.

Cedric couldn't help but chuckle at how seriously Alexi and Eric were taking the fact that he knew before them, it was quite a silly scene.

"Why are you so worried about me finding out before you?" Cedric asked.

"This isn't a joke, Ced." The anger was evident in Alexi's tone, Cedric knew he was pushing it by laughing at the two men.

"Did you seriously let my pregnant fiance keep working late nights, risking our child?" Eric questioned.

"First of all, I didn't find out until Adrianna and I went on her last checkup with Dr. Santos." As Cedric explained when he found out, the two men were surprised at how recent he had learned about the pregnancy. "If Adrianna and I weren't there she would probably have thrown a fit and the whole world would have known endangering her life further, so don't just jump into conclusions that I would allow any of the girls to risk their lives for work."

The two men were silenced at his words, they had forgotten that like them he loved the sisters. He treated them as his family and assuming that he would make them prioritize work over their own health was a painful accusation.

Cedric closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he calmed himself.

"Secondly." He said as he opened his eyes. He was much calmer now. "It's Katerina's choice to work the way he does. I've already asked Mien to work with her to help her with her work load."

"Sorry about that." Alexi said with a frown. "I was just-"

"So worried about your sister that you forgot she is like my sister too?" Cedric asked with a smile, his anger had passed and he clearly understood Alexi's reaction.

Alexi was about to respond when a knock came from the door.

Cedric knew that his assistants wouldn't bother him if it weren't important so he turned and walked to open the door.

"What are you two doing here?" Katerina asked as she glared at her fiance and brother. "Don't you dare get mad at Cedric, he's the fucking reason why you two know."

"Calm down Kat, it's bad for the baby." Cedric said with a smile as he gestured for her to join them. "We're fine, don't worry. Why are you here?"

"We've just gotten notice from the court, you're being sued." Katerina said, catching Cedric off guard.
