Chapter 34: Battle with the Bear

Disturbed by the battle up front, the Monsters nearby all but escaped to a farther place. Yang Tian and the Warriors pushed forward with greater ease and soon left the other team way behind them.

A little more than ten minutes later, a muscular person with bright red hair dashed out of the valley entrance.

It was none other than Xiao Fei!

Nobody expected him to find the Silver-backed Bear so quickly.

Xiao Fei jumped off a big boulder at the valley entrance and landed in front of Yang Tian and the team.

Xiao Fei stomped on a rock and jumped into the air, aiming his double-saber right at the Silver-backed Bear’s head.

The Bear, on the other hand, raised its paw and swatted them in Xiao Fei’s direction.

Xiao Fei was taking action, and Yang Tian and the rest did not slow down either. Yang Tian pumped his legs, and dashed forward with his saber. Liu Jian tossed his curved saber forward and the saber started spinning, flying toward the neck of the beast. Li Xuan was the sneakiest-he aimed his arrow at the Bear’s balls, reckoning it to be its weakest spot. Zhou Feng and Liu Xiao charged toward the animal from two sides. 2

Wham!

Xiao Fei got hit by the bear paw mid-air and flew sideways.

Right after that was a thud. Li Xuan’s arrow tore into the Bear’s balls, and at the same time, Yang Tian’s saber stabbed into its belly right up to the handle. Just as he was going to turn the blade, he felt a gust of wind on the top of his head. He drew the saber out right away, pumped his legs against the Bear’s belly and bounced far away.

The furious Silver-backed Bear stood up on its high legs, but Zhao Wu did not let go of the blades, and instead dangled behind the beast’s back. 1

The Bear could not reach its paws behind so it slammed its back against a big boulder.

Zhao Wu would have turned into a meat patty if he did not back away when the Bear slammed its back.

He reacted swiftly when he realized what the Bear intended to do. He let go, fell to the ground, and escaped from between its legs. Then, he got on his feet and sprang away from the Bear. 1

Boom!

The Silver-backed Bear knocked hard on the cliff, letting out a loud boom. The ground vibrated because of its impact.

Once again, Xiao Fei dashed at the Bear, jumped up to its head, and stabbed its eyes with his double-saber.

The Silver-backed Bear shook its head and Xiao Fei got thrown away again.

Right then, Yang Tian rushed under the belly of the beast, sending out his Tang dao. He took a stab at it before drawing back the weapon and running away.
