Additional information from the sword appeared.

Nathan only skimmed through it to realize that what he was experiencing was actually real.

He shook his head resignedly.

"No… No…" He sat up and buried his face between his knees.

Edna and Luna approached him and read the same description as what Nathan saw.

Edna dropped to her knees behind Nathan. She grabbed his shoulder. "Young master…"

"This is too much. I cannot accept this." Nathan answered in a choking voice.

He shuddered. He couldn't help but feel scared. Just hearing the word god made him small.

What he received was the task of killing them, the gods. It was insane! Nobody would believe him even if he told them everything!

Edna approached Nathan and hugged him from behind. "Young master… I'm with you. Luna is with you. There is Fang too. We're all with you."

Nathan was still lost in the darkness of his thoughts.

"Master Nathan…" Luna's sobbing voice was heard. The girl's tiny palm grabbed Nathan's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Luna... I feel so helpless as an AI on duty to help you."

The scene lasted for several minutes before Nathan finally came back to himself. He noticed that the Crescent Moon's countdown lasted only a few minutes.

"It's okay, I'm okay."

Edna let go of her hug.

Nathan grabbed the Sword of Disidia. He stood up and tried to lift it.

"What?!"

Something strange happened. Nathan immediately threw the sword to the ground. And the notification of him losing stats stopped instantly.

"Young master? Did you also lose stats while holding this sword?"

Nathan turned to Edna. "Yes, did you experience it, too?"

"I'm sorry. I thought it only happened because I wasn't registered in the sword."

Nathan shook his head. "No, it's okay. Did I miss the explanation of this penalty? I don't feel like reading it."

Nathan rechecked the information on the sword, and it was confirmed that there was a price he had to pay for using it.

Nathan sat back down on the ground. He felt highly exhausted by the mentally draining experience he had gone through.

Edna sat across from him. And so did Luna.

"Young master, can you tell us what happened when you fainted?" Edna tried to ask again when she saw Nathan slowly calming down.

"I met someone. He claimed to be the holder of the blessing of sloth."

"Huh?" Luna looked surprised by Nathan's words.

"He said that I had the fate to kill the god of sins," Nathan explained while lowering his head.

Edna shook her head. She grabbed Nathan's hand. "You don't have to worry. I will always help you. Whatever will happen to you." She smiled warmly.

Nathan then raised his head. "Thanks, Edna."

He then faces Luna. "Luna, if I get the blessing of the four people listed on this sword, will I unlock the highest potential of this sword?"

Luna nodded her head. "Yes, as described, Master Nathan."

"What will happen if they die before I get their blessing?" He continued.

"Hmm..." Luna explained doubtfully. "Mr. Devon lost his rights when he died. However, that was because he was the main wielder of this sword before. And if the other person listed on this sword dies, yes, they will lose their rights, and someone else can take their place."

"I got it." Nathan nodded slowly.

"I don't know for what reason or how big the conflict was. From now on, I can no longer relax. For whatever reason, I will face it in the future. I will strive to unlock the strongest potential of this sword. And hopefully, I'll stay on my feet until it's all over." Nathan said with a sharp eye, something he rarely showed.

He knew what he said just now sounded like just something he said to forcefully calm his mind. But he didn't say all those things superficially. He was really going to go ahead and try to get through it.

"Time is almost up. See you outside, Luna, Edna."

Nathan and Edna returned to where they were before they entered Crescent Moon.

Their car swayed at their sudden presence.

Nathan realized he was not wearing clothes, and neither was Edna, whose clothes were torn apart by the fire.

"Euh… I will go out first." Nathan immediately opened the door and got out of the car.

At that very moment, he saw a girl there, someone he remembered as-

"Ms. Mary?" Nathan greeted Mary, who immediately lowered her head.

"Hi, Mary..." Edna waved her hand from inside the car.

"Eh… I'm sorry! I didn't mean to disturb you both!" The girl turned around and ran away at top speed.

"Huh? Why did she suddenly leave?" Nathan looked into the distance. Two other men were accompanying her. However, they were also looking back at him with strange looks on their faces.

"Are they the ones who will help me carry out the expedition in a level 30 dungeon?"

Nathan suddenly felt a little cold.

He then immediately cleaned up himself. He splashed his face with water and changed into clean clothes.

Edna also got out of the car, already in a neat maid outfit, neat appearance, and a warm and sweet smile. It seemed that nothing had happened to her.

"We have kept Mary waiting." Edna walked over to Nathan and took his hand. "You don't mind being at the same party with someone new, right, young master?"

"No, yes, I'm fine. I'm not that introverted." Nathan smiled at Edna's question.

The two of them then walked over to Mary.

There were two blonde-haired men with her. Although one of them looked more like a Japanese person from his face and appearance, he was wearing a yukata in red and white colors.

"Hi, Mary… Sorry for making you wait."Edna said.

"Ah, Hi Edna, Hi Mr. Nathan… Hmmm, yeah… I'm sorry again, because earlier…. I came to you all of a sudden. I really didn't know you were..."

"Oh, no..." Edna waved her hands. "You did nothing wrong. We just finished doing something in an, uh, high-temperature place. Yes, a place full of fire. That's why we're sweating so hard." She grinned.

Mary swallowed hard, her face red. "Oh, yes…. Okay, hmm…" She walked to the side.

"They are Mr. Muramoto and Mr. Marco."

"Hi…" A man with an Asian face and blonde hair, looking 165 cm tall and 17 years old, waved his hand first.

"Hi Nathan-San, Hi Edna-San… My name is Muramoto Minoru. I heard you need a dungeon supply and a partner to carry out a level 30 dungeon, hehe." Muramoto smiled broadly.

"Ah… He is my friend." He continued. "Marco-San. He's a bit shy, but he's a friendly person."

"Who are you calling shy, Muramoto!" Marco, a blond-haired boy taller than Nathan, cut the conversation off. From his appearance, this young man looked 17 or 18 years old.

"Hi." Marco held out his hand. "My name is Marco Frey."

Nathan accepted Marco's handshake. "My name is Nathan."

"I will help you with the level 30 dungeon later. So I'll be back when you're already level 30."

Nathan nodded. "Thanks. I'm looking forward to our cooperation."

"Ehh... it seems I'm being rude for not shaking your hands, too." Muramoto stretched his hand out to Nathan and Edna. "Hi, nice to meet you. Nice to meet you."

"Eh." Mary interrupted. "I think my business here is done."

"Edna, Mr. Nathan, I wish I could help you guys more. I'll excuse myself first." Mary grabbed Marco's wrist. "Come on, Marco."

"Bye." Marco waved his hand and followed where Mary went.

Muramoto stayed because the purpose of his coming was to help supply the dungeon to Nathan.

"I'm so glad I could help. I have many channels to help you find the best dungeons." Muramoto raised his thumb. "I'll ensure you guys never run out of dungeons." He smiled widely.

"Thank you, Muramoto-San." Nathan smiled and nodded.

"Muramoto-San." Edna interrupted. "We have plans to go to the city for some time before continuing our dungeon expedition. Do you have any other business? Would you be able to come with us?"

"Ahhh…. Yes, I mean no. Edna-San, I will accompany you and ensure you immediately get what you need. After all, I don't really have anything to do, hehe."

It was getting late, and the three walked towards where the car was parked.

Edna walked to the driver's door, then stopped when Muramoto called.

"Eh... Edna-San... Do you mind if I drive? Eh... I'm not too bad at driving. Ehehehe..."

"Oh, really!" Edna smiled widely. "Then it's my pleasure, Muramoto-San."
