Chapter 215 City Design

The design for the city wall was finally complete, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. The attack from the zombies earlier that day had been a serious situation, one that had left me feeling anxious and on edge. As soon as the attack had happened, I had immediately begun working on the design for the city wall, hoping to bring some much-needed security to our community.

The builder minions were hard at work constructing a high tower, their small bodies moving quickly and efficiently as they lifted and placed the heavy blocks of stone. It was a time-consuming process, and they wouldn't be able to work on anything else until the tower was finished. Meanwhile, the miners were busy digging deep into the earth, their pickaxes ringing out as they searched for valuable resources. I had to admit, it was nice to see them collecting resources as they worked - it made the whole process feel a bit more efficient.

We needed a lot of resources if we were going to build everything we needed, so I also assigned some mining scout minions to collect stones for us. These, along with wood, were the two most important resources we had at the moment. Once I had finished the design for the city wall, I made my way back to my house, eager to get some rest. Chloe had been there earlier and had kept me from getting any rest, so I was looking forward to taking advantage of the opportunity now.

My house was conveniently located near the high tower, and I was able to see the tower's construction from my window. It was a small house, but it was all I needed - a place to rest and prepare for the next day's battles. As I lay on my bed, I couldn't help but think about all the planning and designing that had gone into building this city. It was clear that we needed more minions, but I wasn't sure if we had the resources to support them. Creating more minions would require a lot of resources, and we were already running low on wood and stone.

I checked the resources in the resources menu and saw that our supply of wood and stone was dwindling quickly. The minions were bringing in as much as they could from the forest, but it wasn't enough to keep up with the demands of the high tower and the other buildings we were constructing. As I lay there, my mind wandered to the world I had come from. It was a significant change that I had noticed in myself, and it was a positive one.

But as I thought about the world and all the mysteries it held, I couldn't help but wonder about the origins of the minions and the system that seemed to be controlling everything. Who created this world? And why was it the way it was? There were so many questions swirling around in my head, and no one seemed to have the answers. I remembered how I used to have many systems, but the upgrade had eliminated all the extra options that I never used. This suggested that the system was alive and could sense what was happening.

As I tried to learn more about the makers of the system, my mind became heavier and heavier. It felt like I had been reading for days on end and hadn't slept in weeks. My mind was so heavy that I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. I closed my eyes and fell asleep, something that had never happened to me the day before.

As I walked through the bustling construction site, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at the progress that had been made. Despite the chaos and danger that had plagued our city in recent days, the minions had persevered and were working tirelessly to ensure that our home was safe and secure.

I made my way over to the area where the miner minions were working, marvelling at the depth of the hole they had dug. It was clear that they had put in a great deal of effort, their pickaxes and shovels carving through the earth with precision and determination. I knew that their work was crucial, as the city's door would serve as our main point of entry and exit, protecting us from any potential threats.

As I continued my tour of the site, I came across the builder minions, who were busy at work on the high tower. Despite the challenges they faced, they seemed to be making steady progress, their hammers and saws ringing out as they crafted each piece of wood and stone into place. I watched in awe as they worked, their skill and expertise on full display.

I knew that I had to do my part as well, and I set about assigning tasks to the builder minions to ensure that the door and bridge were completed as quickly as possible. These structures would provide a means for people to enter and exit the city, and I was determined to see them finished as soon as possible.

As I stood at the edge of the forest, the sun beating down on my back, I noticed a small group of people approaching the city. One of them was riding a horse while the others seemed to be running behind him. From this, I deduced that the person on the horse was a human and the others were his minions.

They were heading towards the city, but their numbers were small, and I didn't see this as an alarming situation. I wondered what had brought them to our city and what their intentions were. Were they seeking shelter or looking for supplies? Whatever the reason, I knew that we would have to be cautious and keep a close eye on them to ensure the safety of our city.

Whatever the case, more people sounded like a hassle.
