Chapter 110 White-Haired Vampire - Part 3

"There's no need for that type of language."

His gloved hand gripped Josh's face. Josh struggled and tried to pull his arm away but it was to no avail, the progenitor's strength was immense, it was like an immovable object. Eventually, he gave up and stopped wriggling.

"Now, answer me, what's your name?"

"It's... Josh."

"I don't like it, your name will be Fuola from now on."

"What the he—"

Before he could argue against it, the progenitor pressed his hand against his mouth.

"Your name is Fuola, you will be a Duke."

With that, the second progenitor turned to Celeste.

"What's her name?"

"It's Celeste~"

"Not bad."

The progenitor slowly walked over. His footsteps pounded through the cave, echoing for everyone to hear. Step by step, his gait extruded confidence, it was like he had no fears in this world. His black cape lightly fluttered as he made his way toward her.

Again, the progenitor raised his right leg.

"Wai—"

Celeste was sent flying into the wall.

"Hold on, she's not as strong as the other~"

"It's fine, I didn't kick her as hard."

Slowly, Celeste got back to her feet as the wound caused by the impact healed.

"Alright, you can be a Viscout."

After making the declaration, the second progenitor began walking deeper into the cave.

"Lest, don't make any offspring who are weaker than the Viscout. I've got too many weaklings right now, and they're all struggling to get enough blood."

"Okay~"

"In fact, don't make any who you think would be weaker than an Earl."

"Ah, but I don't think there are lots of humans who would be that strong~"

"Doesn't matter."

"Eh, alright then."

The second progenitor slowly walked deeper into the cave and was eventually covered up by the darkness. His footsteps also gradually faded away.

"Hm, I wonder where I'd find strong humans~"

Fuola seemed to be worked up for some reason.

"What the matter, Fuola?"

"I... need blood..."

"Ah, let's go hunting then!"

Upon seeing the state that Fuola was in, the three of them left the cave and started darting through the forest. Humans weren't exactly of extremely high supply, it took time and effort just to find some. They searched all around, trying to find a settlement or something that signfied the existence of a human population.

Damn... the other vampires must be clearing this place.

Vampires need a lot of blood.

Fuola was already feeling the pain of the hunger. His mouth was dry, his entire body was in pain and his mind was unable to think straight. The longer he waited, the more accentuated the symptoms became.

"Blood... I'm starving..."

"Hm, I can't seem to find any humans nearby~"

They continued frantically running through the forest, trying desperately to find humans to drink. They constantly looked around, trying to locate any signs of human civilisation. Almost twenty minutes later, they finally caught sight of a settlement.

"Aa~ let's go get some blood, shall we?"

The three of them sprinted toward the settlement, however, they weren't the only vampires there. Just around the corner, another group of vampires appeared.

Damn~

The two groups looked at each other. Both sides were desperate, the settlement was small, there were maybe five or so people there at the moment. There wasn't enough blood for everyone, as a result, one side had to make concessions.

"We got here first, go away!" one of the other vampires shouted.

? The vampires weren't exactly a unified front. Each of the six progenitors had their own offspring and their own needs. They were not on good terms with each other.

"Fuola, Celeste, go and kill those other vampires~"

Fueled by his hunger, Fulo immediately charged towards the other vampires, drawing his sword. Celeste followed shortly behind and they engaged in combat.

I might see how they do~

Lest stayed behind and watched from a distance.

"Sword, drink my blood."

Fuola fed his deep red sword, giving it more power. He quickly lunged in and stabbed one of the opposition vampires. They tried to retaliate, but before they could get a single blow in, every single limb was cut off. Fuola quickly killed all of their weaker vampires, leaving them with only two members remaining.

Celeste engaged one of them, Fuola engaged the other.

"Ahaha, Lest, all you do is look down on us!" there was a dark blue-haired vampire who was also wearing a white cape. The vampire drew his weapon, feeding it with blood of his own.

Fuola charged in and swung his sword, however, the blue-haired vampire managed to deflect it. It was clear that this vampire was stronger than the others that Fuola was fighting. The two of them traded blows until the blue-haired vampire managed to make deep cut in Fuola's chest.

His clothing was stained with red as the wound slowly closed itself up.

"Invoke... magic armour."

Suddenly, Fuola was covered with a white aura.

Ooh, it seems that he kept his abilities from when he was a human~

Lest was still watching from a distance.

Fuola and the blue-haired vampire continued to fight, blocking and striking each other's weapons. However, slowly but surely, Fuola was getting the upper hand, he managed to make several deep wounds in the haired-vampire, forcing him to retreat.

"Why is this offspring of yours so strong?!" the blue-haired vampire yelled.

Without giving him a millimetre of space, Fuola continued his attack, slashing into the vampire's skin, cutting him over and over. Eventually, the vampire's regeneration slowed down as he ran out of blood. The blue-haired vampire was running out of energy, he was tired, eventually, he fell to the ground, unable to regenerate his injuries fast enough.

"...stop... I give up..."

In one fell swoop, Fuola killed the vampire.

Fuola made his way over to help Celeste. The other vampire was significantly weaker. In just one motion, Fuola decapitated it. The vampire didn't even have time to react. Its head fell to the ground, disintegrating.

"Good job guys, let's have dinner~"

The three of them made their way into the settlement. It seemed that their fight was just far out enough so that the humans didn't realise. The vampires had the meal of their lives, draining everyone of their blood.

Ah, that was nice~

Fuola is even stronger than I expected~
