A jet of blood accompanied Collosam's journey in the air. To be punched by a Junior Mage that was using a magic spell, the result would be far from good

A crack could be seen on Collosam's face. His defense was broken through and even his facial flesh became mangled. The force behind Stone Head's punch was enough not only to breach Collosam's defense but also injure him quite severely

"Collosam!" Another Junior Mage of the Metal Sword Tribe tried to move and catch Collosam but yet another magic spell was casts

Stone Head's side has eight Junior Mages in total and all of them didn't hesitate to use their magic!

This time, it was the Chief of the Waterside Tribe that casts her spell

The Chief was holding her magic wand with one hand and from it, a magic circle formed with the use of her mana

Her hair fluttered as she used a considerable chunk of her mana to use her magic spell

She was already old and her power had already deteriorated over the course of years but in this area, a Junior Mage at the 2nd cycle is not to be underestimated even if they have grown weaker

"[Spicule Orb!]"

From the magic circle, Chief's signature barrier transparent orb appeared but this time, it was different than usual

In the past, the Chief's orbs were simple transparent orbs but the one casts using a magic circle has a cluster of pointy material inside

The cluster has a circular shape at the core and from that core, sharp protrusions could be seen. Unlike the orb where it was located, the thing in the middle of it though white in color is not transparent or translucent as if it was a solid object

"Chief, I will assist you!" Right Wind of the Windy Tribe said as if she was eager to help

It seems like Rezen's words of asking the other tribes to annihilate the tribe that would suggest forcing his tribe to divulge the secret is still in her mind

Before the mage of the Metal Sword Tribe could catch and help Collosam, her senses warned her as she sensed something emitting magic fluctuations approaching her

What approached her was none other than magic! It was the torrent of wind that Right Wind conjured

Without a choice, this particular mage could only abandon the thought of helping Collosam as she dodged the torrent of wind. But while she was able to prevent herself from dying because of the torrent of wind, she was not able to save herself from the Chief's spell

Right Wind's assistance was of great help, it distracted the mage, giving the Chief's spell the chance to hit the enemy

In the end, the transparent orb accurately landed on the mage's stomach. The force alone already causes the mage's eyes to tremble as she winced in pain but things does not end there

Upon contact, the orb actually exploded. The pointy cluster inside the orb flew in different directions

Some of the fragments pierced the mage's upper body, poking her internal organs that resulted in her death

As for the other fragments, they either landed on the ground, huts, or the nearby magic apprentices resulting in more deaths

Out of the five Junior Mages of the Metal Sword Tribe, one was incapacitated while another one died

Only three Junior Mages could fight but the opposing side still has their original number of eight Junior Mages

Not to mention, it seems like another one of the three would die soon

Left Wind could be seen moving at a fast speed. Her hand was covered with rotating winds and whenever she passed by a magic apprentice, she would use her hand to shred her enemies to pieces

The apprentice mages even if they were to try using magic, the Junior Mages would either dodge or block in time. The power difference was simply too big!

Unless there was a special circumstance or there were a considerable number of apprentice mages that are focusing on a single enemy, a Junior Mage wouldn't fall. But with the current chaotic flow of battle, how could the apprentices possibly focus on killing one enemy at a time?

"Die!" The last Junior Mage of the Metal Sword Tribe was holding a metallic sword in one hand as he furiously swung it toward Left Wind

In return, Left Wind caught the sword with her palms covered with rotating winds and the two entered a stalemate

Unfortunately for this mage, the enemies have superiority when it comes to numbers. At first, they were in a stalemate but at his side, he saw a man holding a hammer made from a cluster of rocks

Rockim of the Earth Wrath Tribe also joined the battle!

He swung his hammer downwards and on his target's left hand, a new sword materializes and he uses it to block the earthen hammer

Bang!

In terms of brute force, an attack from a hammer was superior compared to most weapons. The mage felt a strong force pressing on his arm due to Rockim's hammer strike and he trembled

Rockim and he should be at the same level of power but he was not fighting one versus one! There is also the presence of Left Wind!

On another side of the battlefield, Weaver of the Nature Lover Tribe was battling against Titane

The woman's arms were converted into multiple vines that were constantly being cut down by the sword of Titane

"Get lost! Get lost!" Titane shouted angrily. He wanted to check his twin brother's condition but Weaver is keeping him occupied

While both of them are at the Junior Rank, he just reached this rank while Weaver has been a Junior Mage for years. It's not easy for Titane to fight such an enemy

"Give up. Your tribe shouldn't have been too arrogant to kill members of several tribes. This is the result of your tribe's arrogance" Weaver said in a rather calm tone while constantly regenerating her vine arms if she doesn't want Titane to cut her down to death

"Kill? We haven't killed anyone! We simply gave a warning to the Waterside Tribe! They are our only target!" Titane replied, aggrieved

Titane and his tribe learned that the Waterside Tribe lost one Junior Mage while they gained two

This situation has indeed caused their arrogance to grow and they targeted the Waterside Tribe. However, it was only the Waterside Tribe that they are eyeing at least for now, they haven't done anything against the other tribes much less kill their people!

In a small tribe, everyone was a family. Deaths from the hands of magic beasts are normal but if they were killed by people from other tribes, the blood debt must be paid!

The Metal Sword Tribe is not stupid enough to provoke all the nearby tribes at once and kill their people!

"Sigh... you won't even admit it" Weaver said with a sigh and her vine attacks became more aggressive than normal

The battlefield was very chaotic as fire burned the huts and the apprentice mages were in a panic

Some of them tried to attack the Junior Mages but the effect was limited while some of them directly decided to run away

The Metal Sword Tribe's Chief, a 2nd cycle Junior Mage that everyone in his tribe was relying upon had his hands tied as he was facing Flamaz and Burning Fist at the same time

One of them was attacking from a distance while the other was engaging Sharp Sword in close combat

The combination of the two has put Sharp Sword in a precarious situation and at this point, he was already considering what he should do to at least preserve the lives of some of his tribesmen

As long as some of his tribesmen managed to flee successfully, the Metal Sword Tribe would continue to exist!

"Hahahaha! Burn! Burn! I want all of you to burn!" Flamaz the madman laughed wildly as he watched his hated people die from his flames

Although he was enjoying the deaths of his hated people, he was still focused on fighting Sharp Sword. If not, Burning Fist might die since he was just a 1st cycle Junior Mage

Outside the chaotic battlefield, Rezen and the other apprentice mages was encircling the Metal Sword Tribe to kill those that would attempt to flee

Coincidentally, at this moment, there was someone that successfully escaped the tribe just to commit the mistake of running to where Rezen is located

"Move away!" The running man shouted at Rezen that looks as if he was daydreaming

"Hmm, with this battle, I could see that Junior Mages, or at least the ones in these small tribes only fight enemies in two ways. The first one is they engage them in close combat while the other was fighting from a distance"

"Is this something that only happened in members of small tribes or Junior Mages has to choose whether they want to be an expert in close combat or attacking from afar?"
