Chapter 5 - Humiliation

He was caught off guard by a sudden slap, but before he could land, his wrist was grabbed.

Lin Xia Hua coldly shook her hand off and slapped her face, "You think you're qualified to hit me? If there's a next time, your fate won't be so simple! "

Angel covered the side of her face with the hand that she had used to slap Lin Xia Hua just now, and glared at her viciously. In the next second, Angel felt a line of sight land on her, and she immediately sobbed weakly, feeling wronged, "Yi Mo, I was just trying to teach her a lesson for you, but she actually threatened me."

Narrowing his eyes, his gaze was somewhat ice-cold when it came into contact with the clear five fingers palm imprint on Lin Xia Hua's face.

"Relying on Lady Xu's reputation, you are not to be outdone. It's just that I wonder if you will have the chance to do so again in the future!"

It was unknown if his words were mocking or disdainful, but Lin Xia Hua could clearly smell the difference.

Lin Xia Hua's heart was flustered, her face was still calm and composed, her pale lips slightly parted, "What do you mean?"

The man's lips were cold. He took out a piece of paper from a drawer behind his back and threw it on the table, then said indifferently, "Sign this document!"

Not a plea, not a request, an order, an absolute order.

"I won't sign it. Give up!"

Angie also saw the words on the document and was secretly happy. However, that happiness didn't last long before it was snuffed out in the cradle.

Lin Xia Hua stubbornly refused.

She had originally thought that this marriage would probably not make much of a difference to Lin Xia Hua, who had already died in his name, but she hadn't thought that Lin Xia Hua would be so thick-skinned and insist on giving up his marriage.

It was no wonder that Xu Zimo's identity was so noble. There were countless wealthy families in A City that wanted to befriend him. It was not only because of his wealth but also because of his handsome appearance.

As a result, too many people in Mrs Xu's position were eyeing it covetously.

Angie was about to say something, but then she realized that since neither man said anything, she couldn't say anything.

There was still a long period of time left, so there was no hurry for this battle.

However, she didn't expect that to her, she would already be eliminated before the battle even began.

Xu Yimo stared at the document with a smile that was not a smile. His calm gaze was covered in frost. "Don't forget what I said when I agreed to marry you."

What else did he say? Lin Xia Hua was slightly stunned.

He had promised to marry her that day, but he had also whispered coldly in her ear, "I can marry you, but remember, don't even think about me loving you."

Lin Xia Hua tightly gripped the ring on his hand, his heart fiercely shrivelling up.

Angel looked at Lin Xia Hua's expression and walked up to her, saying sweetly, "With Ink's words, no one can disobey. Even if you are his wife, you are no exception."

Unexpectedly, a pair of large hands calmly grabbed her wrist, pushing her away.

There was no emotion in his calm eyes. He took out a blank cheque, threw it on the table, and elegantly sat down with his legs folded.

"Ink!"

"How can you trample on Mrs Xu? Even if I don't love her, it's not your turn to teach her a lesson!"

Angel didn't expect things to turn out like this. She turned pale with fright, dropped her eyes, and started crying. "Don't you love me anymore?"

The man's eyes narrowed. His previously calm expression suddenly turned ice-cold. "You're praising yourself too much. From today onwards, you don't have to look for me anymore."

His cold expression frightened Angel. Her face turned dejected as she sobbed, "I-I won't continue to bully Lady Xu. Ink Ink, don't let me go!"

He was indifferent, not even giving her a glance.

"You should know my methods." The man suddenly said gloomily.

In a split-second, Angie's face filled with fear. Even the low sobs stopped.

She had indeed heard of a lot of women who pestered and pestered her to stay. In the end, without exception, they all disappeared without a trace in A City.

She thought she would be an exception. Had she been thinking about it all along?

"With that being said, I think you might be in a bad mood. I'll head back first." Anqi unconsciously took two steps back and turned to leave, glaring at Lin Xia Hua resentfully.

The living room suddenly quieted down. It was completely empty, which made Lin Xia Hua frightened.

She looked at the cold-hearted man on the sofa and lowered her gaze. Had he always treated women this way?

If it hadn't been for their marriage certificate and her father's meticulous arrangements, Angie would probably have ended up like this.

While she was still in a daze, the man suddenly grabbed her wrist.

The warm air came through the thin fabric, and when she realized what it was, her face suddenly turned red.

Her hand pressed down on it, causing Xu Yimo's expression to turn black as he slowly propped himself up.

Lin Xia Hua felt embarrassed. In the next second, she was carried into the bedroom and heavily thrown onto the bed.

The man stepped forward and pressed down on her, his breathing heavy as he rubbed against her ear.

The heavy breath landed on her neck again, and the man gnawed on it as if he was venting his anger. His large hands landed on her clothes and ripped them apart.

"Let go, Yinmo."

Lin Xia Hua's chest chilled. Her clothes had already been thrown under the bed, and her heavy breathing and the thick scent of a man made her feel an unexplainable fear.

His two legs were easily caught, his two slender legs fiercely clamped onto hers. His wrists were also caught, allowing Mo to mock him lightly, "Does Mrs Xu not intend to fulfill her responsibilities as husband and wife? "In that case, sign the document."

As she finished speaking, a teardrop rolled down her cheeks and then she disappeared at an extremely fast speed. Suddenly, she lost all her movement.

"Alright."

His eyes closed in despair.
