Within a minute, five people have arrived; the number is a little surprising as I had not throught these many people would show interest after a couple of unfortunate accidents that had happened with the luminescent pool.

Of the five people that came, two were from the project. I knew they would come; they had to experience the benefits of the project and understand that in every process I am involved, they will gain the benefits.

There is also Roya, which I had no doubt about her considering the zealousness she had about breaking into the Grandmasters.

The last two are a young man and a middle-aged woman named Rohan and Carla; both of them are middle-level Masters.

“Only three people can enter the luminescent pool given its capacity, so we will go by the order you have arrived,” I said to five. “Roya, Halberg, and Rohan, you three are entering the pool,” I called out the names, and three bottles with mud-green color solution appeared in my hand, which I threw at them.

I did not ask them if they were willing to enter the pool; I called for those who were willing to enter the pool, and since they have come, it means they are willing.

“Drink the solution and enter the pool,” I said to them; they opened the bottles one after another and drank the solution inside them. All three shuddered, and painful expressions appeared on their faces before a green-brown layer began to appear on their skins.

It looked like tree bark was growing on their skin, and something like that was happening; this would be necessary for the protection of their bodies and filtration of the harmful elements of the luminescent pool, which could melt their skin off and create holes in their bones.

This is the first time I have crossed a luminescent pool, though I have asked for its sample from Lord Yazdi, on which my clone had done some research with the little time it had.

The solution is for the protection only, and I barely have any idea what I will do; my approach will completely depend on how this pool reacts with the body, which is kind of risky, but it is the only way I have.

The sample I have had been considerably weakened; this liquid is one of the resources that rapidly lose its efficacy when it leaves its place.

“Get in,” I said as the bark had completely covered every part of their body. They did not tally and went and walked toward the pool before entering and sitting across-legged inside it.

Their meta-scans appeared in front of me; I could see the luminescent pool was attacking the bark, and the bark was not stopping the attack. It is letting most of the energies of the luminescent pool while blocking those which I detected harmful.

This potion they drank is a little special; it could be controlled by the others, and now I am controlling it.

See See!

The energies of the luminescence pool hit the bodies of three of them, and all three sucked the sharp breath. I could see the dangerous spike in pain in their brain gap, even after filtering out the dangerous elements.

It is not just painful but also dangerous; it begins to burn their skin and internals; I could even see their bones begin to blacken.

It is like a bark skin is offering no protection at all.

‘Interesting,’ I said to myself; such effects are more common than one image when it comes to special energy resources like a luminescent pool. One has to look past the damage they are doing toward the benefits it is providing.

I could see how its energies were burning up the cells, but I could also see the special kind of energies that they leave behind those cells and how it is strengthening them.

Hun!

I was watching the three meta-scans with th rapt attention when I sensed the soul sense. ‘It seemed like someone wants to look,’ I said in my mind and did not stop the soul sense; I let it cover and observe what I am doing.

I could see it was surprising seeing no restriction from me; a faint fluctuation before its soul sense got reinforced is proof of that.

While I am letting it look, I am too keen on letting it look too deeply; I have formed a soul protection layer around three, and it will not be able to see what is happening to three.

I wonder whether it would frustrate it enough to take action, which I would very much welcome, and so are my people. This is war and while the gathering of resources is important, killing the Grimms is even more important; that is the whole reason for this war.

A minute passed, and I saw no chance; seeing that, I couldn’t help but shake my head in disappointment; it would have been amazing if it had attacked, and I really wanted to fight against it.

I controlled my battle lust and focused on three whose conditions had become quite severe. If I did not do anything in a few seconds, they would suffer irreversible damage and die in a minute.

Though I have to give it to them, despite suffering such damage, not a single of them made a move to leave this place, nor have they made any sound of pain. Even I wouldn’t have been able to stay such silent at their level.

‘It is time,’ I said, and healing energy released from the invisible strings into their bodies.

The moment I released the energy, the bark layer covering their bodies stopped the luminescent energy. The powerful blast of healing energy, with the healing rule, rapidly begins to heal their body at a visible speed.

My healing energies work quite faster on the Master; if it had been Grandmasters or even High-Grandmasters, I would have a need to take the aid of the potion to achieve such healing speed.

Within the fifty seconds, all their injuries had begun healing, and I once again lifted the blockage, and energies of the luminescent pool came barging and once again began to burn their bodies with their energies.

Soon their injuries reached a critical point, and I once again sealed their bodies and began to heal them; once they were healed, I would again release the luminescent pool energies into their bodies.

The classic cycle of healing and injuries of their bodies continued; it was an extremly painful process that very few will bear, but these three are bearing it, and its benefits have already become visible.

The luminescent pool turned out to be a better resource than I had imagined being; a little dangerous and could kill the subject if not handled carefully, but it is worth it considering the benefits, and the most important thing is that it did not require outside resources, except for potion and healing.

Next time I will not use the bark potion; I have only used it because I was being extra careful; now that I know how the luminescent pool works, there is no need to use such expensive resources when a cheaper formation would be able to do a much better job.
