Chapter 948 Lilith Snow - Gates Of Iluthath I

Bellowing like a madman, the scaled runes over Arsnes flesh began to glow, blazing a glory beyond the day and night, far more radiant than the Myriad Stars I saw within the Origin Realm. Arsene stood as a black sun blazing with unimaginable power.

Knowing it was the symbol everyone was waiting for, I reached deep into myself, so deep an itch of a clawed demon awakened inside my heart.

Abyssal Essence swelled to such heights I felt my own body trying to break down. However, I did not stop. Pushing my body to its highest peak, the carbon copy of the seven-meter-long formation appeared beneath my feet.

And like clockwork, as the formation rose above my head, crowning me, an onslaught of necrotic energy struck the formation sending a tremor of unimaginable power into my veins.

"Queen of the Abyss, how lovely it is to meet you once again," Samyaza said, spreading his grey tip six wings high over my shoulders, fueling me with his monstrous might. Another monstrous shockwave erupted, but Izavith was quick to keep everyone alive.

Looking up at the two pillars above my head and Arsene's, it did not take long before the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth pillars emerged, piercing into the stars of the abyss, spreading their might.

A heavyweight began to way heavy on my shoulders that only seemed to grow as I stared grimly at where the seventh pillar should be.

"Yu Jing," I muttered, pushing out my will to Avar.

N0 v el Next. CoM

Seeing the Chosen in the correct position, my eyes widened as Yu Jing was standing motionless without issue.

"Do forgive me, Lilith. But my Master has commanded I don't act just yet." Avar said, sensing my presence.

"Why?!" I thundered, swayed to ask Izavith to cut them down.

What the hell is Zariel thinking—

Grunting as the pressure on my shoulders continued to swell, my heart began to turn cold as I pushed out my senses to everyone's expression, which turned paler with each passing second.

"The Kings Sacrifice," Avar coldly mentioned, watching as starships lay waste to the planet below. In comparison, the Paragons might begin to reap akin to the reaper's blade; Blood painted the scene tainted by the fog of ash; ashen hail fell from the skies like a blanket, obscuring the vision of both gods and demons alike.

It was mass chaos.

Unease swayed back and forth like a drum as my attention snapped to Mother and Father, covered in scars that only began to grow as the angels, demons, and abyssal fields battled on, without care for who got caught in the middle.

Like endless gods of murder running around me, so much death filled my eyes, I wasn't sure what I was witnessing. Was this what the badlands were like? Just death at every turn?

Even my own people were being cut down, spilling their intestines alongside the other organs over the battlefield as some were ripped in half. Others who were slightly luckier had their head caved in by fists or hammers, dying instantly.

In this battle, it didn't matter who was more skilled. It all came down to luck. Death came around every corner, as was blood that wasn't pooling on the ground but raining from the skies slaughtering all who couldn't resist fast enough. Karmic laws could be seeing silver in nature stretching from end to end, turning bodies to withing dust as they begged and begged, fading to nothing.

Lightning flared like drops of rainwater, bleeding the lives of many. It was like a never-ending storm—a world with only death.

"Beautiful, is it not?" Samyaza asked, drawing me from this slaughter. "War is like a black rose in its truest form."

"This is utter madness, pure chaos. I wouldn't call it beautiful."

"But you'll like to join, wouldn't you, to bathe in this ash of war." He said, hitting the nail quite hard. "Zariel tainted his brother's soul by accident, but you…." he smiled, " You will engrave in your children a madness that will sear away the difference between right and wrong."

"And what would a fallen as yourself know?" I snapped, dismissing this fool. What is a little madness? Who cares about right and wrong? Sene and I do what we want, so why can't my little chibi?

God, I can't wait for them to be born, all that drool. All that cuddling. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~ I CAN'T WAIT! Kisses all day!

A/N: All Hail the Chibi!

"What did I expect from a crazy woman."He said, not getting a rise out of me.

'Lilith'

Hearing Arsene's smooth voice, my heart skipped a few beats as I answered," Sup."

"We will continue with the next step, the summoning of the Gate of Iluthath." He calmly said. "I can't wait for Yu Jing. We will connect to the highest tower in Iliya, the glowing one."

"What's the rush?" I said suddenly, understanding after a few seconds, " Oh, I see. You want to push Zantar and Balor."

"Yes. But it could get bloody. Far more bloody than it already is."

My heart dipped a little and hardened." I've made my piece with it. Sene."

I could feel Arsene smile, and after a moment, a strong will suddenly seize control of the enormous energy thickening around us, bearing the brunt of the pressure on our shoulders.

Witnessing the pillars of light bend to Arsene's will, stretching towards the central tower in the middle of Iliya

I could feel the war begin to wane and the furious voice of Balor as it howled.

"Arsene!!!!"

"Your husband sure likes to make unnecessary risks," Samyaza mentioned, " Ease the rough edges of the veins of energy, Lilith. Arsene can only do so much. If you help, the others will understand and follow in suit."

"Hm." Closing my eyes, I pushed out my senses towards the six veins of qi within Arsene's hands and felt the agonizing pain pouring out from his soul. Despite not showing any expression in real time, I could feel Arsene's pain as his soul struggled to wield such power. And yet the more I saw, the more amazed I grew as his soul flame began to adapt at an extraordinary rate.

I reached out.
