Chapter 897 Lilith Snow - Holy Shit

Grunting in response to having seen Arsene's soul touch upon this space, I snapped my eyes towards the husk of the fallen Lilith and then to Baphomet standing with his arms poised behind his back and a teasing smile.

"You shouldn't worry, " He said as if he held no actual stake in this gamble.

Zariels blood was the key to everything. He had granted it to me, and while fifty percent was going towards the system, for the twins, Ten percent was delegated to Arsene, Thirty-five towards the formation needed to open the gates to Iluthath, and five percent for my personal use.

As the Avatar of the Abyss, I was privy to many things. And the Demons Mother effect upon Baphomet was all but known to me. So I severed Baphomet's soul in half, using my percentage of Zariels blood to block her lingering eye while also severing her connection with Baphomet's other half with the Abyssal Blade.

By the time The Demonic Mother could figure out what had happened, it had already happened. And with a bit of persuasion towards the slave soul of Baphomet, to end his life, rather foolishly yet pridefully, I succeeded in getting what I wanted.

I had Baphomet, Beast King of Hell, under my rule. A hidden card that was unknown to just about everyone.

"Everything is not fine, or did you forget about events that took place within the temple of eternal Darkness? I've been piecing everything that happened to Arsene together through our teether, and I've found that a deal was struck, forcing Arsene to act in the enemy's favor." I crudely reminded as the whiff of Lilith's rotting carcass slowly crept into my nose, turning my stomach to a jumbling mess of emotions.

Baphomet chuckled, " then it's fate that Balor and Zantar find out. But I wouldn't worry. The precipice of the end of their game is fast approaching. The city is built, and the Lords of the twelve realms are all approaching. Legacies and Artes from around the abyss are being gathered, and a new age is about to be born."

"Ah,' I said in agreement. Baphomet was not wrong. Arsene missed out on a lot, but he gained far more than others would think. Especially with Mephisto training him. "I've ensured his survival near the end, but—"

"Many will perish." Baphomet finished, shaking his head, " you are the tactician in this game. You have the right to use anyone as you see fit. After all, from what I can see, there are only three people that hold importance: Arsene and the two buns within you."

"And you, are you ok with perishing?"

"Girl, I am the Beast King!" Baphomet roared, bellowing in laughter, and stomped towards the rotting carcass of the Demonic Mother, "We Demons are renown for our ability to survive."

A desolate air raced through my soul like an invisible web spreading till my heart turned hard as stone.

"Then, as you're new Master, you are to bring Levi towards the city, and if you can, Asmodeus. Their lives are now in your hands." I commanded, knowing the coming years would be the bloodiest.

Mother, Father. Forgive me, or not but for Arsene and my children, I will sacrifice you. May Zantar and Balor have mercy upon your soul, should you perish.

A solemn aura swelled around Baphomet, followed by a hollow breath of air, "As you command, My new Queen."

Thunder flashed, and at that moment, the Beast King was gone. And I was alone. Or so I thought, as a voice strangely met my ears, a voice so cold I felt like the Grim Reaper had materialized.

"Quite the scheme you are cooking up,' the familiar voice said, startling me as I'd heard the voice before, but it was never this clean, this graceful, nor this cold.

"Azazel," I said aloud as burning embers materialized from the cold dark void, bringing form to a being with two horns piercing up from each side of his head. Wings of silverly black clung gracefully to his back as he stood within his demonic form.

"I apologize for this body; I never intended to grace you in such a form," he said, somewhat bitterly. "But the body of a king of hell is surprisingly more restrictive than a human one—such a shame."

"W-What are you doing here?" I could not help but ask as I noticed the sense of loss he held towards the husk situated behind me.

"Oh, fallen child of heaven." he said, clasping his hands together, "may you find peace."

"Peace? I'm afraid that is up to my children. For she may suffer their eternal wrath." I could not help but say, dashing what little hope she could have. While I was a little empathetic towards her plight, that was merely hormones. The moment she used my Sene to get what she wanted, the bitch got what she deserved.

I was a Snow now. And we have no mercy.

Azazel sighed, "I was a little affectionate towards her once. She was so driven, and despite Mephisto's ploy to diminish her accomplishments, I found her rather enjoyable at times. A shame. Nevertheless, she is not why I am here."

Straightening up a little, Azazel ruby red eyes shimmered a gruesome air, " A word of warning. Arsene is getting close to my daughter."

"Eh?"

Daughter? Huh?

"Hmmm, Zena is of my flesh and blood. Do peer into the abyss realm, and see what Arsene has been up to." He relayed as I instantly merged my soul into the flow of the abyss.

Images mixed with events instantly clouded my eyes as I gasped, turning my attention back to Azazel's chilling eyes.

"I'll kill you, and I'll kill Arsene, alongside the entire Order of Chaos should he touch her." He coldly told, drawing close with looming blood-stained eyes.

"His sister has already warned the boy, but how I see it, only the wife can persuade that idiot."

"You have a daughter! Who's the mother? Wait! None of that adds up! Wh—"

"Mithra, the Avatar of Light, is Zena's true mother, or did you think you were the only Avatar who could have a child? Why else do you think I am in this lowly fourth Heaven? If not to train my only daughter?"

"Holy Shit!"
