Chapter 665 Guardian Vs Fallen

Coughing up another mouthful of blood, as I gazed down at the left side of my body mangled simply by that shockwave, I growled, running divinity to heal myself. I hastily took to the skies, observing the Abyssal Qi that hum to life.

Near the Gate of Abyssal night, I could see, Zantar carrying a deep frown as he took a step back. Confusion raced through his head while he observed the scarlet-black ember congeal right before his eyes.

"Lilith, what the hell have you done? What is this." I asked, knowing she was watching.

"I think the Guardian is confused, Sene." Said Lilith, sounding a little unsure herself.

Hovering over the air at a relatively safe altitude, my eyes locked onto Zantar, who met my gaze darkly. "Is this your doing?"

I shrugged and pointed to my missing arm and mangled legs, "Yes, this is my doing? "I said sarcastically, "Why would I wait until now when my arm was blown off, and my body mangled to summon this thing."

The Fallen sneered and fixed his attention over the cold entity, stepping out in a blaze of glory, Littered in flames over its iron body; my heart quivered at the power overflowing through the air.

Zantar's expression was dark, but he did not look frightened, rather annoyed. Knowing he was under some disguise, I was all smiles and sent Freya a soul whisper. "Let Sera out. I want to see her relationship with Zantar. If she is close, then this will be interesting to see what will happen next. When she discovers that Zantar is a Fallen."

The Gate of Abyssal Night quivered, and Sera stepped out, confused. She glanced at me, scrunching her smooth brow, then towards Zantar with a serene expression, "Elder Brother?"

Cracking a smile, watching the Fallen shiver, I descended, puffing my cheeks, "You see your disciple, all mangled, yet you do nothing. Come on, Master Sera, at least show some compassion. How do you know Zantar?"

"This is not the time to talk,' The Shadow remarked gravely, "Sister—"

Sensing my instincts screaming in alarm, Sera placed her hands over me, and in one flash of divinity traveling through my flesh and bones, I was whole once more. She pulled me into her bosom and leaped away as we watched a moment of Abyssal QI whipped through space and time. The hairs on my neck spiked, and my heart almost jumped out of the void.

The Guardians bashed its arm downwards. Horror washed over me as the entire city of the Holy Swords was caught up in the explosion. Sucking the light away, leaving only a single pillar of Abyssal darkness, reaching far and wide, I felt a truck had slapped against my body from behind the barrier Sera had created.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!

Mother! Father!

I glared in their direction that had been caught up in the blast and pushed out my sense to catch any signs of life, but my expression fell. I felt nothing.

"Lilith," I barked through our tether, "Call this fucking thing off now!"

"I-I can't, Sene; this Abyssal Guardian was meant to defend the Horseman Gate. It must be confused. It has to be or—"

"Lilith, I don't care." I cursed, ending the tether, gritting my teeth, my expression soured.

"Brother, why is this thing here?" Said Sera gravely, shaking visibly.

I drew in a sharp breath, hoping that Eroma or Grey had the foresight to leave early. Even I would have died from that blast.

"Not now," Zantar snapped, "We must—"

"No!" I coldly answered, "Do not believe him, Sera! He was the one who attacked, and it was only then that this thing appeared.

Zantar whipped his gaze to me, and I grimly met his eye. Sera was my prey, and I don't share. I don't care what this Fallen's ploy is; she is now mine. If he wants her, Zantar will have to prepare to lose something in return. I will be damn if I simped out because he is stronger than I am.

"You're a fucking bastard." He cursed, and I sneered in response.

"Why not tell her you are here to kill her?"

Sera's grip around me grew tighter, and she grew a bit guarded. Pulling away, she frowned, "What is going on?"

"Two can play at this game, isn't that right, A—"

Materializing in a black beastal blaze of fame, the Guardian bashed his fist over Zantars cheek, tearing him out of the air. A vicious shockwave shattered the stars in the distance. It glanced at us with his horrifying flames and turned towards Zantar.

"Asura," said Seraphina harshly, "You will explain what has happened, and you will do it now."

Peering up from her bosom, I chuckled, "It's just as I already said. Zantar, an acquaintance, well frienemy appeared. We struck up a conversation, and he struck. But the real question is why you are friends with a Fallen Angel?"

My God, I feel like I am snitching to the cops. It feels so good! Lol, I see why people snitch.

Sera's expression darkened, and she shook her head, "That's not possible. He is first class, the strongest of us. He is part of the Great Seven! That cannot be."

I rolled my eyes, "You worship a man-call Raziel. The hell would you know. You're an angel. You are meant to worship the TRUE GOD that sits upon that throne, but you just allowed some random dude on it. What the hell would you all know?" I cursed, glancing back at Zantar, pushing the rubble off his body. He glared up at me, and I continued, "You head back to Heaven, and your dead, or worse."

"T-This can't be," She muttered, but I only shook my head, flicking her head.

"Hey, none of that emotional bullshit. I don't have enough EQ to deal with it. The most I can do is stroke your head and tell you your pretty." I Informed, "Let's go; you are burned. If it's as you say, Zantar will have all heaven turn on you."

"Who are you," she asked, and I smiled, "You are not some random disciple of Freya. There has to be more. Who are you!" She demanded, quivering in my arms. Her eyes blazed with a dark flame.

Crackling up in laughter, I shrugged, "I'm Batman."
