Chapter 94.3. Sena’s Request

-Masatoshi’s POV-

“All of my friends are wonderful people. They’re all kind and virtuous, but… is it the family’s intentions? They seem to act with that in mind.”

What is her intention? Sena innocently tilted her head and looked puzzled. Sena doesn’t seem to understand the meaning, but Masatoshi with his previous life experience immediately clicked. He guesses it means they’re a friend who is coming to you for profit.

Masatoshi’s cronies are the same way. They’re all attracted by his title as the heir apparent of the duke’s family. They are still 10 years old. Some of them may innocently and truly consider him a friend. But he never knows what the future holds. When they reach the age of discernment, many things are bound to change.

“So I’m a true friend. …… I would do anything for Sena-san, right?”

“Masatoshi-san and I are great friends! And from now on, ack, it’s nothing. But my father told me to make something else.”
