Chapter 76.2. The Abyssal Goddess

-Frigg’s POV-

“I think it’s good for games and novels. It doesn’t matter if it’s someone who has killed your friends, or someone who has killed countless people, it burns to see a rival character reform and become a friend.”

If it’s fiction, even better. But, pointing the gun at Loki, Frigg speaks from his beautiful lips.

“You, you’re real. If the original story were true, I’m sure you’d reform, but I hear the young lady can’t overlook you. I’m sure that if left unchecked, you’ll kill nameless mobs of people. Because you don’t care one bit how many people will die when you release a large number of mantis, do you? It doesn’t seem like you did. You’re a guy who crossed the line. If you’re going to kill people, you should have just killed the bad guys.”

“Well, wait! There’s a reason for this.”

“Because you were an orphan and you were oppressed? That’s why you decided to get the power and spend your time freely? Then you should’ve kept it down to a prank. You’re now free from the world. It’s up to you to let them live or die. That’s what I thought.”

Everything the mysterious beauty said was true. Saeko’s body was motionless with fear, understanding that this person, who knew even her mind, was not a person.

“You’re now free. I congratulate you. But you’re also free to be killed by your opponent, unbound by anything.”

“Such a strange, re.. reason.”

“Fufu, that might be true. I’m not even serious about it. This kind of thing is just a template.

Lifting her shaking head, Saeko managed to look at the mysterious beauty’s face, and when she looked into her eyes, then despair struck her.

Her eyes showed no pity, sympathy, or anger toward her opponent. Frigg’s eyes said she was too lazy to perform the act.

There was an abyss behind the eyes that gazed at Loki. There was a radiance there that was not to be looked into or touched.

“Well then, good-bye, Takanashi-san.”

“Well, wait for me.”

Frigg pulled the trigger of her flintlock short rifle, paying no attention to Saeko’s desperate attempts to spin words of pleading for her life.

“This is a level 99 [Moonlight Gun]. And a level 1 non-consumable [Never-Ending Bullet]. The combined attack power is not much, but, have you been training yourself? Maybe you can withstand it.”

[Takanashi Saeko: Level 5]

Seeing Saeko’s level, who only borrowed others’ power and never trained herself, Frigg chuckled and said her final parting words.

Then, the Moonlight Gun’s muzzle released an extremely large beam. Frigg’s hair swept, and her clothes fluttered in the hot air created by the beam emitted from the gun’s muzzle. The space turns red and releases a frightening amount of heat.

Saeko stands up to escape, but the beam pierces her body. She felt that the beam was so powerful that she would have burned to death with a single blow, but the beam did not pierce her body, and the only thing that came back was a strong shock.

Before she could wonder why, the beam passed through my body, this time from behind. Next, from the side, and then from diagonally in front, Frigg is moving at high speed and shooting. As if dancing, as if dancing. The beautiful goddess flutters her golden hair and shoots the Moonlight Gun with a bewitching smile.

Dancing around Saeko, she continued to fire her gun, each impact piercing Saeko’s body and sending her floating into the sky.

“Oh, oh, that’s so silly.”

The ceiling of the labyrinth was at least 10 meters high, but strangely enough, Saeko was sent beyond it and into the world of darkness.

Before she knew it, Saeko was floating in space, with the earth below her. It was a fantastic sight. She could see the moon, and somehow the solar system’s planets were in a straight line.

“That’s it.”

[Stardust]

Somehow she saw Frigg kissing her gun. Then she sees a magic circle, bigger than the moon, unfolding before Frigg’s eyes.

“This …… is such a thing.”

It was magic, and before she could say a word, Frigg pointed the muzzle at Saeko and pulled the trigger. An extreme light shoots out from the magic circle so huge that she feels like a grain of sand. The enormous energy easily blots out Saeko and shatters all the planets, even the others behind her, and a huge explosion occurs.

The solar system explodes, and only the light remains, dissipating into particles, and Saeko is dissolved into the light and annihilated, leaving not a single piece of her body behind.

And so, after the light subsided, Frigg was standing there. Before long, the scene around her also returned from outer space to the labyrinth.

“An absolute must-have special move [Stardust] that consumes 50% of the maximum MP. I hope you enjoyed it.”

Spinning the gun around, Frigg tucks it into the item box and smiles. It was only a few tenths of a second in time.

[Killed Takanashi Saeko!]

A log appears, listing the dropped items, but Frigg walks over to the treasure and picks up one of the gold coins without paying attention to the log.

“It doesn’t look like a background image. Good thing.”

No longer remembering Saeko, whom Frigg had defeated, she converts the value of the treasure into a monetary value with a serious expression on her face. Her eyes are far more serious than when she fought Takanashi Saeko earlier.

“I guess it’s roughly 300 billion yen. I should give this to the emperor.”

Frigg sends a thought to Miu to make sure the plan works.

[Oh, are you done? I’m in the trunk of the car that Frigg-oneesan showed me. I’m getting ready for a nap]

Curling up her tiny body, Miu was about to take a nap in the trunk. She’s tired and yawns with her little mouth open, hoping that she will sleep soundly.

[Yeah, I’m done. A quick look at the treasures, there’s about 200 billion yen worth.]

[I see. Then you’ll get your fee and return home. You should collect all the magic tools.]

[Yes, I’ll take some and go home.]

Frigg nodded and decided to take some treasures to return home. The money for preventing the monsters’ stampede, and all that.

“Well, I’ll take a little bit of it then…20 billion yen, that’s all I need.”

Frigg finished putting the treasure into the item box impatiently and skipped away.

And so, gentle Frigg got a little commission, and 20 billion yen worth of gold remained in the treasury.
