Chapter 54.1. Entering The Castle

Move to the imperial castle in a limousine. She’s clinging to the window. Miu looked happily at the crowd. She pressed her cheeks softly and squishy, and everyone around her smiled at her adorable figure looking out.

Food stalls lined the main street, a large park was crowded with people, and drums were beating. Everyone is walking around with happy smiles, buying takoyaki (octopus balls) from the food stalls and enjoying the street performances. The street performances in this world include magic, so they are very flashy. I want to get out of the car and see them too.

“I always thought this day was the Spring Festival.”

There are several big festivals in this world. The whole country of Japan is involved in these festivals. It’s a typical novel’s world. Almost all companies take a holiday. The only ones that don’t are convenience stores, restaurants, and infrastructure companies.

In my previous life, this festival would have been impossible. The government can’t wield that much power, and festivals are held in each local place.

But in this world, they do. The reason, it’s easier to use the event as a storyline for a novel.

March 30. There is a big festival every year. Food stalls line the streets, and many people enjoy the festival. It is usually a viewing of cherry blossoms, whose blossoms get magically delayed from falling.

Miu also enjoyed holding hands with her parents every year, admiring the cherry blossoms, and eating okonomiyaki and crepes from the food stalls. There is nothing like going out as a family and enjoying a festival. They would run around with smiles and enjoy the festival to the fullest every year.

I looked forward to this festival every year, but I thought it would be a spring festival, cherry blossom viewing festival, or something like that.

“It’s true that only houses with 10 year olds care about it.”

This is a sight unique to the magical architecture of the novel’s world. In my previous life, it would have been impossible to build it. I think it was built by Nobunaga Oda when he moved the capital to Edo. The whole building is given [Eternal Float] and [Absolute Boundary], and the only way to enter is by a transfer device on the ground.
