Chapter 213 Fight

Lei Zhen was already being polite to them with his remarks when the men started to speak foul words to him.

They hadn't provoked them yet they had begun to trash-talk him out of nowhere.

It was practically uncalled for.

Although it was only for a few minutes, Lei Zhen had already calmed himself and was ready to leave.

"Let's go, Candice. We've farmed enough and should return to Cinderton now." Lei Zhen said, only to realize Candice was glaring at the opposing party.

It was crystal clear that Candice was the most furious one as her eyes had turned deadly red already. She was ready to slaughter these rude people that dared to talk down to Lei Zhen.

"Master, are we really going to retreat when these people say such remarks to you?" Candice asked in a suppressed tone. Her original happy mood was now soured by this group of people.

Luckily though, the women in the group reacted differently than the men and quickly apologized to Lei Zhen.

"I'm sorry for my members' conduct. They didn't mean anything bad."

"It's fine, we're going to head off now." Lei Zhen waved his hand, unwilling to interact with them further.

Just the fact that these women were willing to team up with these unsightly men was enough for Lei Zhen to avoid contact with them.

The moment they couldn't get something they wanted, they would resort to foul language regardless of the situation. Such people tend to end up doing nothing good to society except wasting air.

Alas, right when Lei Zhen turned around and prepared to leave the area, a magical spell was fired directly at him.

BOOM!

A loud explosion occurred and Lei Zhen's face turned ice-cold.

In front of him was Candice who had deflected the unannounced attack from the opposing party.

"Can I make a move now, Master?" Candice asked, her expression was ferocious as she seemed like a wolf, looking at her prey.

"Why did you attack them? We could have just looked for another duo to party up with?" One of the women in their group shouted at the man that had fired the spell.

Unfortunately, though, her reprimanding of her members didn't salvage anything.

In fact, Candice was already at her limit to straight out annihilate this group of rude people.

"Just kill the men and leave the women alone unless they decide to interfere as well." Lei Zhen commanded nonchalantly.

What he hated the most in life were backstabbers and traitors.

And these men fall into the category of backstabbers.

To attack him sneakily and without much of a reason was tantamount in Lei Zhen's eyes.

Meanwhile, Candice, who had just heard Lei Zhen's command of basically giving her permission to go wild, smirked wickedly.

All along, she had been waiting for approval to slay these rude people.

"Dare to bad talk my Master and dare to attack him sneakily. Even deaths are too light for you people." Candice snorted coldly and began to multicast, astonishing the group of people.

The women that had heard Lei Zhen's command of leaving them alone so long as they didn't interfere decided to do the clever thing.

They retreated a few meters away from the group of men that had created this trouble in the first place and turned a blind eye to it.

Seeing Candice's efficiency in multicasting and her smooth movement, these women knew she was not an easy opponent.

BOOOOM!

Although it was called a fight, it truly wasn't considering how easy it was for Candice to swiftly kill the three men effectively.

After the three men had died, their bodies dissipated and parts of their equipment were laid bare on the sand.

"Go and loot the equipment. Consider it your compensation for wasting energy." Lei Zhen said decisively, not bothering if the two women heard him or not.

Since those men were impolite to him, then why should he be polite and not loot their dropped equipment.

Candice quickly looted the equipment and returned back to Lei Zhen's side.

Her eyes were still glaring at the remaining two women, clearly warning them to not try anything funny.

"I'm really sorry about those men. Me and my friend were just trying to conquer a dungeon in this area for our quests. Those men approached us and said they could assist us. They were quite high level so we partied up with them. I didn't expect them to be such rude people." One of the women apologized sincerely and began to introduce herself.

She was Jessica and a level 58 sorcerer whereas her friend was named Bella, a level 57 healer. They were both dressed in a mage cloak and had long blondish hair.

Based on their appearance alone, it was clear that they are aged around the 25s and above, but Lei Zhen can't be sure since everyone can customize their appearance in Magnolia.

Though considering their action and movement previously, they definitely resemble a woman, and Lei Zhen was 80 percent sure that they might have used their real appearance like him.

After all, not everyone would have the time and energy to spend over an hour to customize their look into something different, especially when it's a VRMMORPG that is 100 percent immersive.

Not even Tang Qiaolian, Griselda, and Tie Longkun had altered their appearance even in the slightest since it would be a nuisance to try to customize a new character and get used to the setting.

"You don't really have to apologize because you are not at fault." Lei Zhen shook his head and replied. He didn't really blame them much since it was the men that had provoked and attacked him.

"Though I would suggest you be careful in the future of who you're going to party up with. Just because they are high level doesn't mean anything if their behavior and conduct are unruly." He added, giving them a kind warning to not commit the same mistake again in the future.
