CH 34.1

Name:Married To A Savage Duke Author:
If Cherryl opened her eyes at this moment, he would appear like an irredeemable asshole so he had been careful and quick so that she wouldn’t wake up.

Cade’s hand crept into the nightgown’s hem at her chin and slowly dragged it down.

After the virginal garment covered her chest, waist, calves, and thighs, Cade sighed.

*SIGH*

He rubbed his face roughly with a hand.

He wanted to sleep in the same bed with her every night, but he didn’t want it to happen too often that his patience had to be tested all the damn time.

Realizing the need to control himself after sleeping with Cherryl, Cade planned to take an anti-aphrodisiac potion as soon as he returned to the main castle.

He usually mixed it with his wine and drank it from time to time but he decided to increase the dosage when he felt it becoming less and less effective.

As a result, even his stocks had run out bit by bit.

An anti-aphrodisiac potion’s main ingredient was a rare herb growing from the steep, snow-capped mountains near the border.

It was necessary to secure his own supply as soon as possible so that he wouldn’t get in trouble.

Cade glanced down at Cherryl in confusion.

He felt like he was about to explode at any given moment but she was still sleeping as if she was dead to the world.

She looked serene.

Her lips were slightly parted, her breathing was regular, and her lovely lashes fluttered lightly.

Cade didn’t like that she was unaffected and he wanted to rectify that.

He would break that calmness into shattered pieces.

“Damn it.” Cade cursed as he reached out to search for something at the bedside table.

He grabbed whatever anti-aphrodisiac had been stored in there and poured it into a crystal glass.

It was wiser to take them in reasonable amounts and not the entirety of what was left but suppressing his overwhelming desire for Cherryl was his utmost priority.

The anti-aphrodisiac potion would become more effective when absorbed along with alcoholic drinks but he had no choice but to pour it into his water as soon as possible.

Cade emptied his glass before the potion was completely dissolved.

Then, he sat on the bed with his back turned away from Cherryl.

The tingling sensation of blood rushing over its limit made him feel dangerous as if his uncontrollable lust would explode any time.

Fortunately, it stopped at that maximum threshold he could manage.

The anti-aphrodisiac potion couldn’t completely control his aroused body, which had been constantly reacting for a while now, but it had the effect of holding at least a handful of his reason.

However, the night of the full moon was another problem for the Balkan men.

Their tribe would get excited over the littlest things at this time and often ran wild and bloodied like loose horses in the highlands.

Even if their forms didn’t change, the haze-like energy shining in the expanse of their skin and their wolfish gazes flashing more brightly in the dark made them appear out of this world.

These unique creatures were called ‘werewolves’.

When Cade turned into a werewolf on the night of the full moon, the emotions he normally possessed would become so intense a hundredfold.

For example, just making eye contact with someone he didn’t get along with would drive him to outrage, escalating into a bloody fight.

The night of the full moon was a ‘force majeure’ to all those who belonged to the wolf’s clan.

If he witnessed Cherryl’s naked body on a day when he couldn’t control himself easily——

Even so, will his patience hovering close to zero be able to hold on to Cade, who could lose his temper one way or another?

The mere thought of it made him dizzy.

Cade and his entourage were adept at manipulating the intensity of their wolfish nature but in recent years, his ability to keep it under wraps had become unstable.

As he glanced at his thick, veiny forearms, he muttered. “Should I keep myself in chains?”

Every time he turned into a werewolf, strong chains would just break easily as if they were toys.

He planned to sleep with Cherryl on the same bed starting from the wedding night so if he desired to make his dreams come true, he had to come up with peaceful measures——

While he was in agony, Cherryl groaned, tossing and turning.

Cade cast a glance at the cause of all of his troubles.

When he saw her procrastinating defenselessly, he felt like reciting a prayer that he didn’t even know well.

Could men calm this deep-rooted desire even just for a little bit by memorizing what they didn’t doubt as a sacred doctrine?

“Your Grace.”

At some point, Cherryl woke up and slowly lifted her eyelids.

She found Cade staring at her with an unreadable expression.

“What are you doing——sitting at the corner of the bed? Did you stay up all night?”

“I just woke up.”

“Just now?”

Cherryl rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand.

“You look pale as if you hadn’t slept. Or was I just seeing things?” Her half-asleep voice murmured dimly.

Cherryl was so nervous last night but funny enough, she was the first one to clock out.

She was already tired when Cade kept stroking her stomach with his palm as she wallowed in his fragrant and warm embrace.
