Chapter 121 Limitless

"Vincent!" Isabella's voice echoed across the beach, filled with excitement and relief. She hurried toward him, her steps quickening with each passing moment.

She saw Vincent sat patiently,  calmness emanating from him as he observed the flow of the waves.

As she approached him, a mixture of pride and awe washed over her. Her beloved Vincent had become a symbol of power and reliability, showcasing his true capabilities to everyone . She couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration for his power.

"You were amazing out there," Isabella exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine happiness. "You showed us all that we can trust in your power and instincts."

Vincent's turned around and his expression softened, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He couldn't resist the urge to inject some humor into the conversation, hoping to ease the tension that had settled upon her.

"Oh, that? It's just me, you know, showing that  I never skip leg days at the gym. Gotta keep these limbs in top shape!" he winked at her .

Isabella burst into laughter, unable to contain her amusement..

"Well, aren't we the confident one," Isabella remarked, her tone lighthearted but with a hint of playful challenge. "You certainly don't lack faith in your own abilities."

"When you've got skills like mine, it's hard not to be confident," he quipped with a hint of swagger.

Isabella couldn't help but giggled, appreciating Vincent's humor. It was a refreshing change of pace, a reminder that sometimes a healthy dose of quirky remarks could be just what they needed in times like this

"Alright, Mr. Confidence," Isabella teased, playfully nudging his shoulder. "Just make sure that arrogance of yours doesn't get the best of you."

"Oh, don't worry. I won't let my awesomeness go to my head. I'm far too humble for that," he joked, his tone lighthearted and teasing.

The other vampires observed their banter with a range of emotions. Some wore expressions of surprise, others curiosity, and a few even carried a hint of concern. It was undeniable that Vincent's was powerful , but he seemed more playful than they had anticipated.

But Regardless of his personality, one thing was clear: He had become a captivating figure, commanding attention and stirring curiosity among them. His interactions with Isabella painted a picture of camaraderie within their ranks, an example of the bonds that could be forged when doubt was replaced by confidence.

With the battle subsided and their objectives on the island fulfilled, it was time for Vincent, Isabella, and the rest of their group to leave. The tension that once hung in the air had dissipated, replaced by a sense of accomplishment and weariness.

The island held memories—both triumphant and harrowing—but it was time to move on.

California- Evangeline Mansion

"Vincent, you did a great job," Evangeline spoke, her voice filled with pride . She had never doubted his capabilities from the start.

"I could not have done it without your guidance," he replied with a simple gesture. Evangeline had been instrumental in his progress thus far, and he recognized the value of her support. Though he sensed she was withholding something from him, he opted to exercise patience and allow her to reveal the truth in her own time.

Observing Vincent's expression, Evangeline couldn't help but draw parallels to her brother Fenrir. The echoes of his mannerisms, his way of speaking, and even the intensity of his gaze stirred within her. The desire to embrace him, to indulge in the affection that tugged at her heart, was strong. However, she knew that her primary focus should be on honing his power and unlocking his untapped limitless potential.

"Did you bring the artifact?" Evangeline inquired, her eyes glimmering with anticipation.

"Its here, " He reached into his bag  and retrieved the specially crafted briefcase. It had been designed to conceal the presence of the artifact, shielding it from any prying eyes or magical tracking spells.

"Why do you need this?" Vincent's curiosity got the better of him, prompting him to inquire about the purpose of the artifact.

Evangeline's smile widened, a hint of mystery dancing in her eyes. She shook her head slightly, maintaining the air of secrecy around her answer.

"It's not for me," she revealed . "It's for you."

"For me ?" Vincent's eyebrows lifted in surprise. The artifact was meant for him? His mind raced with possibilities and questions. What could this mysterious object hold? What secrets would it unveil?

"I'm going to tell you another secret ability that you have," she declared, her voice laced with intrigue.

"What other ability? "Vincent's voice was filled with both anticipation and curiosity as he asked the question that lingered in his mind. The search for strength had been his relentless pursuit, and now Evangeline had hinted at the existence of yet another ability within him.

"What you demonstrated back there should have given you a clue." she spoke with a firm tone.

Vincent's brows furrowed in thought as he tried to remember the events that had transpired in Puerto Rico. His mind delved into the depths of his memory, grasping at fragments and images, piecing them together like a puzzle.

"You mean the fusion of my abilities?" he guessed, recalling the moment when he seamlessly melded his vampire speed, werewolf endurance, and Adrenalin manipulation.

Evangeline's eyes sparkled with a knowing gleam as she nodded.

"Indeed, but the fusion you experienced is not uncommon in the supernatural world, particularly among wizards, witches and elementalists. However, what sets you apart is not just the combination of powers, but rather where you draw them from."

Vincent's curiosity grew, his sole focus was on Evangeline's every word.

"What do you mean?" he pressed, eager to uncover the truth.

Evangeline paused for a moment, her mind racing as she pondered her next words.

Finally, she took a deep breath, her eyes meeting Vincent's with a hint of admiration .

"You see , most supernatural beings are bound to a single power source, one that they were born or turned with. Take Isabella, for instance. As a vampire, she is unable to become a werewolf or possess any other supernatural abilities because her DNA had been altered already."

"Even I, as an Original vampire, am confined to my vampiric nature. I can't access other supernatural powers because my DNA acts like an immune system, fighting off any foreign influences," Evangeline explained, her words weaving a spring of possibility. "But you are different, you are a human at your core, and your DNA has the capacity to absorb and integrate other forms of supernatural power."

The magnitude of his own potential hit him like a tidal wave. He had always felt different, special in some inexplicable way. Now, the truth was laid bare before him, offering a glimpse into the boundless possibilities that awaited him.

"You mean.... I can be anything?" he uttered, his voice filled with a mixture of wonder and disbelief.

Evangeline nodded, her gaze steady and unwavering.

"Exactly," she affirmed.

"Imagine," She continued, her voice brimming with enthusiasm, "combining the speed and agility of a vampire, the strength and resilience of a werewolf,  and even more . You possess the ability to absorb and manifest various supernatural powers, transcending the limitations that others face."

Vincent's mind reeled, his thoughts spinning in a whirlwind of disbelief and awe. He struggled to find the right words to articulate his response, his voice momentarily eluding him. Evangeline's revelation had hit him like a storm, leaving him speechless and grappling with the weight of its implications.

As he took a moment to compose himself, he felt a mix of excitement and trepidation coursing through his veins. The idea that he held the power to transcend his werewolf nature, to embrace a multitude of supernatural abilities, was both exhilarating and daunting. The mere possibilities that lay before him was like a flame flickering in the darkness, illuminating a path he had never considered.

Evangeline's eyes glimmered with excitement as she witnessed the flicker of realization in her brother's gazed.

"We failed before because you were bound by your werewolf self," she whispered to herself, her voice low and secretive ."But now, everything has changed. We can win this time, Brother Fenrir."
