Chapter 104 Haunted Cave?

Vincent had high hopes for his evening with Julia, but despite the delicious seafood at the famous restaurant they dined at, the night did not leave a lasting impression on him. His taste buds savored every bite of the fresh fish and shrimp, but there was still a longing for the robust flavor of a medium rare steak.

After dinner, they retired to his room, and what followed was a night of intense passion. Julia's beauty was undeniable, and she was eager to please him in every way possible. She even treated him with a sexy dance to set the mood.

Her beauty was further enhanced as her seductive dance left him in awe. She moved with such grace, her body swaying to the music as she slowly undressed, revealing her gorgeous curves.

Vincent couldn't resist her any longer. He pulled her into his arms, their lips meeting in a fiery kiss that left them both gasping for air. The night was filled with the sounds of their moans and the rhythmic creaking of the bed as they explored each other's bodies with lustful minds.

The hours flew by, and she was left breathless and exhausted. She could barely move her legs so she had to take  some painkillers in order to ease the pain.

Nevertheless,  it was the best night of her life. But for him, it was just a fleeting experience, one that he would likely forget in a matter of days. It was not the he did not appreciate her , it was just him having so many women in his disposal that he had become a little picky of he like. Liking a woman and just sleeping with them was two different concept for him.

In the morning,  he wasted no time in searching about the island history on his laptop. Evangeline had told him that the fragments of the medallion had the potential to  create a domain of their own. This domain was usually inaccessible to others, but he had an advantage - he possessed the base of the medallion.

While browsing , he found an article that piqued his interest.

He read the myths about the haunted cave under a cliff with a sense of curiosity. It seemed strange that people would go missing there, their bodies never to be found. The rumors suggested that a strong current would suck people inside, but no one had ever been able to prove it. Instead, the cave was simply deemed a danger spot.

Despite the warnings, some thrill-seekers still attempted to enter the cave, and as expected, most of them died. It was an enigma that he couldn't quite comprehend. Why would anyone risk their lives to explore a cave with such a deadly reputation? Perhaps the allure of the unknown was too great, or maybe they simply didn't believe the legends.

Regardless of their reasons , he need to visit the site itself. He would feel something when he was close to one of the fragments .

ραпdα---nᴏνa| сom The location of the cave was far from the usual tourist spots on the island. It was clear that the eerie stories surrounding the place had made the locals wary of venturing too close. As they approached, he could see that the road leading to the cave was unpaved and rugged, evidence that the government had little interest in developing this area further.

As Julia navigated the truck along the bumpy dirt road, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She knew the legends surrounding the cave all too well, and the stories of missing people and strange disappearances were enough to give anyone pause.

"Are you sure you want to visit that place?" she asked, turning to Vincent with a look of concern on her face. "It's not exactly the safest spot on the island."

But Vincent just gave her a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry , I'll be careful. I'm not planning on staying in there for too long" he said, his voice filled with confidence. "

"No matter what you do in there, please don't jump in the water,"

Vincent chuckled to himself, feeling a twinge of confidence. He doubted that a mere current would be able to take him down. With his strong body and sharp instincts, he was sure he could swim his way out of any trouble.

But as they parked the truck and approached the cave's entrance, Vincent couldn't help feeling a sense of unease. The air was thick with a foreboding energy, and he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. Despite his bravado, he knew that this was no ordinary place.

He stepped out of the truck and took a deep breath, feeling the warm on his chest.. He muttered to himself, "This is the right place."

"Wait for me here."He turned to Julia and spoke firmly

He then took a few steps forward, and immediately felt a change in the air around him. The temperature seemed to rise, and he could feel his heart racing in his chest. He placed a hand over his heart and closed his eyes, focusing on the sensation.

"The closer I am to the cave, the hotter my chest become," he muttered to himself. He knew he was getting close.

As Vincent approached the mouth of the cave, he noticed the crashing waves nearby, but he also spotted some large rocks that could serve as a pathway to the entrance. He carefully made his way across them, his heart pounding with excitement and anticipation.

Swoosh Swooosh

He leaped from one jagged rock to another, his muscles bulging with each effortless bound. The treacherous terrain of the cave posed no challenge for him, as he effortlessly navigated through the winding passages. His keen senses allowed him to anticipate every twist and turn, ensuring that he remained on course.

As he went further, the darkness enveloped him completely, but his keen eyesight allowed him to see with clarity.

"Its too peaceful" He muttered to himself.

The only sounds were the lapping of waves against the cave walls and the distant howl of the wind. He felt a chill run down his spine, not because of the cold, but because of the eerie silence that surrounded him.
