Chapter 98 Meeting You Again

After sharing a good laugh, Nathan asked Vincent if he could stay with him, but Vincent politely declined. He had made a promise to Evangeline to find one of the missing pieces of his medallion. He was hesitant about following her at first, but he changed his mind after realizing that it could make him stronger.

In return, she had promised to keep a close eye on Nathan's Family safety and assign multiple vampires to guard them in the shadow. Though the Organization behind Wayne Corporation downfall was powerful, Evangeline was not afraid to confront them directly. Her only fear was that they might discover Vincent's true identity, which would make him a target for other more powerful organizations.

Nathan watched as Vincent car disappeared into the road, his heart heavy with both excitement and worry. He knew his best friend wouldn't leave without a good reason, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of loss as he walked away.

Fortunately, he had his own mission now, to unlock 'Adrenaline Manipulation '. He couldn't wait to learn this new kind power and push his limits. Vincent had told him about William, a master of this ability, and he was planning to go and train under his guidance.

As a fervent fan of the supernatural, he could not resist the lure of this elusive ability. He longed to grow stronger not for the sake of power but to stand by Vincent's side in his hour of need. He realized that unlocking this kind of power would grant him a heightened level of strength, speed and reaction time which will further become stronger once he himself turned supernatural. The mere thought of his human potential filled him with joy, yet he remained mindful of his primary goal: to assist his best friend in any way he could.

Of course, he couldn't just leave unannounced. He needed a cover story. And what better cover story than a vacation? So, he reserved his father's plane and headed off to William's address, ready to begin his training and unlock the true potential of his powers.

Nathan's father was initially hesitant about the idea of his son leaving without a proper explanation. However, Nathan was a pesky negotiator, and he was eventually able to convince him that he needed a break from all the chaos and tension.

And to ensure that his father wouldn't interfere with his plans, he plans to pay his guards to turn a blind eye and leave him alone after dropping him off at William's farm.

.

The frigid night air nipped at her nose as she sat outside the local Starbulks, sipping her Mocha frappe while studying for her freshman courses.

Even in the midst of bustling college life, she couldn't shake the sense of sadness that hung over her like a cloud. It was as if she were missing a vital piece of herself, something that could only be filled by one person.

Her mind drifted to her former flame, wondering where he could have gone. It had been months since they last spoke, and the absence of his presence had left a gaping hole in her heart. She longed for the way he used to kiss her and hold her close, but she knew deep down that those memories were all she had left.

"Vincent," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the peaceful atmosphere of the coffee shop. "I hope you're okay."

Lost in her thoughts, She didn't even notice the curious glances of the other patrons as they passed her by. All that mattered to her was the hope that someday, somehow, her lover would return and fill the void in her life.

As she finished up her homework and stretched her tired arms, she couldn't help but feel a sense of longing wash over her. She packed up her belongings and left the cozy warmth of the coffee shop, only to be greeted by the cold night of New York City.

"It's going to be winter soon," she murmured to herself, pulling her coat tighter around her small frame.

Little did she know, she was being stalked by four perverted individuals, each with their own malicious intentions. The ringleader, a man with piercing blue eyes and a nose ring, pointed her out to his cohorts with a sneer.

"That's the bitch who dared to reject me,Sophia!" he sneered in contempt.

The other men grinned maliciously as they plotted their heinous plan against her. They were determined to make her pay for her insolence and teach her a lesson she would never forget. Their plan was wicked and cruel, designed to tarnished her forever.

Sophia Point of View

I finished my homework and stretched my hands, feeling a sense of longing wash over me. "It's time to go," I muttered to myself, packing up my things and leaving the coffee shop.

I walked the same route that I take every day, but the streets, which are usually well-lit and busy, were dark and quiet tonight, and an unsettling feeling crept up on me. I couldn't shake off the sense that something was amiss. Living in a poor neighborhood, there was little I could do to change this situation. So, I had to learn to live with it, hoping that nothing would ever happen to me.

But fate and luck seem to hate me. As I continued walking, I noticed four men following me, their eyes fixed on me with sinister intent. I tried to remain calm, quickening my pace to lose them, but they matched my speed. Panic set in as I realized I was being chased.

When I turned into a small underpass, it became clear that I had made a mistake. My habit of using this route had betrayed me, and now I was trapped with no way out, and the four men had me surrounded.

I tried to call for help, but this underpass was a dead zone for mobile signals, and there appeared to be no people around.

"What do you want from me?" I asked, my voice trembling with fear.

"We just want to teach you a little lesson about being a woman, sweetheart," As the group of men closed in on me, one of them stepped forward. It was Jason, a fellow classmate from the university who I had rejected. His eyes were filled with pervertedness, and his tone was dripping with malicious intent. I knew that I had to find a way to escape their clutches before it was too late.

Without hesitation, I turned and ran towards the other end of the underpass, hoping to outrun the men. But they were faster than me, and one of them grabbed me roughly by the arm. I struggled to break free, but his grip was too strong.

"Hold her down," he snarled, and I felt two pairs of hands holding me against the wall.

My heart raced as I realized what was happening. These men had no good intentions, and I was at their mercy.

Jason stepped closer and held my chin, his breath hot against my skin. I could feel his eyes boring into my bosom. He was filled with lust and desire to tarnished me.

"Let me go, please don't do this!" I tried to break free, but it was no use. As I struggled, a wave of despair washed over me. Why did I always find myself in these types of situations? What had I done to deserve such cruelty?

In this moment, I couldn't help but hope that Vincent would come to my rescue once again.

"But what if he doesn't?" I thought, my heart sinking with fear and uncertainty. The mere possibility that he might not arrive left me feeling overwhelmed with emotion.
