Chapter 65 The Second Strongest ?

Kyle leaped through the air, his body tense and coiled like a spring. He used every ounce of his strength to propel himself upwards, towards the ceiling. The sound of his paws scratching against the tiles filled the air as he used the ceiling as a spring board.

But Roman watched him with a bored expression, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Swoooosh

As Kyle descended towards him, Roman twisted his wrist and sidestepped with lightning-fast reflexes. He caught Kyle's neck in his massive hand, squeezing slowly and exerting immense pressure.

"Argghhhhhh" Kyle growled in defiance as he he struggled to break free, his claws scratching uselessly against Roman's arm. But the notorious criminal didn't even flinch. He lifted Kyle up effortlessly, holding him aloft like a mere toy.

"You're dead," Roman sneered, his lips curling in a cruel smile.

But before he could kill Kyle.

"Whoosh!" "Whoosh!" "Whoosh!"

A sudden burst of wind swept through the hallway, forcing him to release Kyle from his grip. The air grew thick with tension as the winds whipped around them, ruffling fur and hair alike. Then, out of nowhere, a stunning woman appeared, hovering mid-air like a goddess of the wind.

It was Lyka, her hair and clothes billowing in the gusts around her, she surveyed the scene with a calm and steady gaze.

"Stop bullying my junior," she declared in a voice that carried over the howling winds.

"This...is my...fight,"Kyle, still struggling to stand, growled in defiance.

"You're not his match," she replied firmly. "Leave him to me, this is an order."

Kyle wanted to argue with Lyka, but the powerful aura that surrounded her made him think twice. He couldn't deny the fact that she radiated a formidable energy, and he felt a bit foolish for even trying to fight Roman despite knowing the gap in their power. He had already revert back to his human for so he was more calm now.

Her hair began to whip around her in a wild dance as her power grew. The air around her seemed to shimmer with energy, crackling with the force of her wind.

Roman snarled, feeling the power of Lyka's aura. He stood his ground, his eyes locked onto her. He was confident in his abilities, even if she appeared powerful. He knew he could kill her if he used his full strength.

His muscles bulged as he prepared to use his full power against her. He would not let anyone stand in his way, not even this wind goddess.

The two supernatural beings faced off, each one radiating a fierce determination. It was a battle for dominance, a test of strength and power. And in that moment, it was impossible to tell who would come out on top.

Lyka landed on the floor her eyes flickered with recognition as she took in Roman's appearance. His fur was a pure white, was a rarity even among Russian werewolves. Her mind raced through her extensive knowledge of werewolf types, identifying him as a formidable opponent.

Russian werewolves may not be as fast as their American counterparts, but their strength and thick fur made them a force to be reckoned with. She knew this matchup was not in her favor. Her wind magic was swift and precise, but lacked the raw power to penetrate Roman's thick coat.

"An opening " Roman thought to himself.

Her momentary distraction did not go unnoticed by him, who immediately pounced forward with lightning speed, his powerful legs propelling him forward at a blinding 80 miles per hour. His thick, white fur bristled with energy as he closed the distance between them.

Lyka barely had time to react as Roman lunged at her, his massive jaws open wide.

But her focus was unwavering as she analyzed the situation, taking note of Roman's impressive speed. Without hesitation, she lifted her hand and summoned a powerful gale that struck Roman head-on, causing him to stagger and slow down.

However, Roman was not one to be deterred easily. He pushed through the wind and charged towards her once more, determined to overpower her with his brute strength. But she was ready for him this time, and she gracefully sidestepped his attack, using the momentum to deliver a swift kick to his side.

Thud

Roman grunted in pain and was sent flying but quickly regained his balance. He bared his teeth, ready to counterattack, but Lyka remained calm and composed, her eyes focused on her opponent

Lyka's true strength lay not in her wind magic, but in her mastery of mixed martial arts. Despite being an Elementalist, she was a formidable fighter up close, and often used her wind powers to supplement her already deadly strikes.

While her wind magic was by no means weak, it could only be classified as lower B-rank at best. However, when combined with her martial arts, her abilities reached a level of power that far exceeded her rank

"Not bad "Roman grinned wickedly, his eyes gleaming with bloodlust. He was enjoying this battle, relishing the opportunity to take down a powerful opponent. But Lyka was not so easily defeated. She stood her ground, her winds swirling around her in a fierce vortex.

"You're a strong one," He growled, circling her warily. "But you're no match for me in terms of raw strength."

Lyka said nothing, her eyes blazing with defiance. She knew that this battle would be a difficult one, but she was not about to back down. She took a deep breath, her winds growing stronger and more violent with each passing moment.

Roman pounced again, his huge body dashing into Lyka with his full speed . But she was quick to recover, measuring the distance between them as she covered her fist with wind and used her magic to accelerate her movements.

-Swoooosh

Roman was caught off guard by Lyka's speed, and before he could react, he felt the full force of her punch, filled with wind magic, smashing into his nose and sending him flying across the room.

-Booooom

He crashed into the concrete wall with a loud, thunderous boom. The impact created a spiderweb of cracks in the wall,

Kyle on the other hand watched in awe as Lyka displayed her incredible strength and agility. He had underestimated her all this time, thinking she was weaker than Denise. But as he watched her take on Roman, he realized how wrong he was.

"Who said she was the second strongest woman in DSAS? Whoever said that was a lying piece of shit," he thought to himself.

"I think I'm in love!" he added.
