Chapter 21 CH : 21

Vincent joined a discord group, where he found various topics and conspiracy theories. Expectedly, he was drawn to the topic about werewolves and vampires. He clicked the link and read through the conversation.

[ Werewolves are stronger than vampires,] Moonlight said.

[Idiot, vampires created werewolves through forbidden science and witchcraft] NTRsuper replied.

[ You've watched too many movies, NTRsuper. Lol. ] bloodmaze added.

[ Dracula would decimate any werewolf!!! I rest my case ] NTRsuper claimed.

[ Ordinary werewolf, yes, but lord-rank werewolves are practically unkillable ] Moonlight retorted

Vincent sighed. "These people," he muttered to himself, realizing that these individuals were simply nerds with too much free time. How foolish of him to think that he could find valuable information here.

But then , he saw a new message that caught his attention.

[Fenrir can kill any type of vampire on his own ] Moonshadow joined the conversation.

"Fenrir?" Vincent's attention was piqued. He was familiar with that name. It was the name of the man in his dreams.

He started typing.

"[ Who's Fenrir? ] Handsome-Alpha asked.

[ A newbie? ] Moonlight questioned.

[ Fresh meat, ]NTRsuper added.

[ Using Handsome-alpha as a code name? What a bold move,] Moonshadow remarked.

"These kids," Vincent shook his head, feeling helpless. But he needed to go along with them.

[ Yeah, I'm a newbie. I just wanted to ask about Fenrir, ] Handsome-Alpha .

[ Dude, you don't know Fenrir? He's like the strongest werewolf in history. The only supernatural being so strong that he was called a god, ] moonshadow explained.

[ History? I've never heard of him] Handsome-Alpha

[ That's because the government buried their existence. They want us to think that supernatural beings only exist in fantasy, ] Moonlight claimed.

[ Then how did you know about it? ] Handsome-Alpha

[ Wikipedia, dude,hehehe ] NTRsuper replied.

"I think I'm getting dumber talking to these people," Vincent realized that he was wasting his time so he closed his eyes for a nap.

As Vincent napped on the sofa, a sweet aroma wafted towards him. He knew it was Sophia, but he pretended to be asleep as she approached.

She had changed into a pink short dress, which emphasized her petite frame and youthful beauty. Her eyes took in Vincent's features, admiring his handsome face and full, red lips. She couldn't help but wonder what they tasted like.

She walked slowly and quietly towards him, not wanting to wake him up. Vincent's wolf senses, however, were acute and he was aware of her presence, even if he didn't show it.

Without realizing it, Sophia's face had been getting dangerously close to Vincent's. He suddenly opened his eyes, and she was taken aback, feeling embarrassed. Fortunately, Vincent quickly caught her hand, preventing her from falling.

"Are you okay?" Vincent asked, his deep voice tinged with concern.

"Yes, I'm okay " Sophia blushed, feeling embarrassed by her forwardness. She was a reserved and traditional girl with little experience in men, but Vincent's charisma was just too strong for her to resist. His charm had affected her deeply, more than any other guy had before.

The revving engine of a luxury supercar brought all activities at Lumber Highschool to a sudden halt as the sleek red Ferrari cruised through the road like a magnificent chariot, commanding envy and amazement from everyone in its path.

"Who could possibly own such a car?" muttered one student in awe.

"According to Wikipedia, that car costs millions of dollars!" exclaimed another.

"Whoever's driving it must be filthy rich," chimed in a third, unable to contain their amazement.

Lumber High School was a place where luxury was a rarity, making the red Ferrari that cruised through the road a spectacle to behold. Sophia felt her cheeks heat up as her schoolmates stared in shock and awe at the car.

Vincent, on the other hand, seemed to relish in the attention, his smile widening as he parked the car directly in front of the main building. Sophia couldn't help but feel embarrassed as she stepped out of the car, the stares of her peers following her.

Vincent noticed her discomfort and spoke up, his voice calm and reassuring. "Are you alright?"

Sophia forced a smile and nodded, still feeling self-conscious under the watchful eyes of her classmates.

"Don't worry about them," Vincent said, sensing her unease. "I can walk you to your class if you want."

Sophia's heart skipped a beat at the offer, but she quickly shook her head. "No, it's fine. Thank you for the ride."

Vincent nodded and watched as she disappeared into the school building. He couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at the attention their arrival had garnered, but he also knew that it wasn't entirely fair to her. She didn't deserve to be put on display like that.

He planned to leave right away when his ears suddenly picked up a sound. His werewolf hearing allowed him to pick up every single word they were saying.

"That girl is such a bitch," a blonde girl sneered with venom in her voice. "I know she was just pretending to be a goody two-shoes, but in fact, she was a seductive snake."

Vincent raised an eyebrow at the viciousness of the girl's words. He didn't know Sophia very well yet, but from what he had seen, she didn't seem like the type to deserve such harsh criticism.

"I think that bitch needs some reality check," another girl chimed in, her tone just as malicious.

Vincent knew that he had no right to interfere with her life, but an unfamiliar emotion was stirring within him. His territorial instincts were beginning to kick in, akin to a protective animal guarding its territory.

The thought of someone daring to insult his property enraged him. Unconsciously, he began to think that he owned Sophia for saving her life.

"How dare they mess with what's mine?" he muttered to himself, as he drove the car away.

He parked the Ferrari at a nearby 7-11 and blended in with the crowd. He had never left his car previously , so he was certain that he could go inside the campus unnoticed.
