Immediately he gave word, she ended the call and raised her head up to look at her dashing mate.

Hell, he was naughty and she may have scolded him a bit but she was happy even her father knew about him.

“I am sorry love, but it was the best way I could think of to silence him and prevent him from scolding my mate. Even my dragon was agitated. No one had the right to bully you before me.”

“I know darling. Thank you.”

Aramis leaned in, capturing her lips in a breathtaking kiss as he lifted his hand to her face, caressing her cheek lovingly.

“You will always be my babe. If not that we have something to do, trust me, I would have taken you again and showered you with endless love and pleasure.”

A blush crept up her cheek at that moment, taking up the biggest will in her to push at his chest. The second her palms rested on his chest, he sucked in a deep breath, releasing a low groan.

That was all Asia needed to get her mind ticking. The mention of her father when it came to serious matters left her head in a work state and sharp at all times.

He was a skilled assassin she looked up to, the unkillable killer.

Without wasting another second, she pushed Aramis off of her before they ended up giving in to their desires and went on having sex.

“Get up, Aramis. This is important. I need to call Jade and inform she and Xander of what is going on.”

“Do not worry your pretty head. You get ready. I am informing Xander now.”

Her brows creased a bit as she stared at him in confusion. Informing him how? She wondered in her mind.

All she knew and saw was him seated on the bed with his left hand drawn to the back a bit, supporting his upper body while his right hand flew up to the side of his head as he made his connection.

“How?”

“Through our dragon link. He is the king. He has a telepathic link to every single one of us dragons. I tell him, he passes the message to everyone. Now you do not need to bother calling Jade and Macy, as Xander and Jay would do the needful.”

“Wow,” she was truly appalled and did not hide her look of awe on her face. “Impressive, resourceful and mind blowing.”

“What can I say?” He winked at her retaining the bashful smile on his face.

“I would go and get bathing. Join me when you are done.”

“Sure.”

Without wasting another second, he concentrated better and quickly, he linked up with Xander.

“Xander, morning. There has been a reach out from our people at the warehouses.”

“I see. Morning. What is the report?”

“We need to attack at this morning. This was the message from Arctic. Prepare for battle, alert the others. Plans changed we may need to attack first light. Anders is moving in at the dead of the night.”

“On it. Prepare the arms for war. I would alert the others.”

He removed his hand from his head and immediately rose from the bed.

If there was one thing he could enjoy while the rest got prepared, that was bathing with her and he wouldn’t miss that chance for anything in the world.

On the other hand, Xander, immediately placed a soft kiss on Jade’s forehead waking her up.

Due to the fact that they telepathically communicated, she did not hear a sound from him until he kissed her forehead.

Jade stirred in her sleep, prying her lovely eyes open to stare into his. “Morning?” Her brows kneaded as she tried to make out what the time was.

“Good morning my love. It is a bit early but we need to wake up.”

‘Why? Did something happen?” He nodded at her. “I see. What happened?”

“Anders, they move at night. We must attack at first light.” Jade’s eyes immediately flew open and she too sat up.

“You said?”

“You heard baby. Time to go. We need to prepare fast.”

“Got it.” Without questioning, she sprang up properly into a sitting position on the bed and rubbed at her eyes. “Aren’t you coming?”

“Just a minute, I need to alert all the dragon and everyone to wake up and prepare for battle. We should be leaving here in forty-five maximum because of preparations.”

Jade nodded and waited for him. No sooner had he done the needful,. He too got down from bed and walked up to her.

They shared a blissful kiss as he leaned down and picked her up in his arms, carrying her over to the bathroom.

As they went, he used his powers to rid them of whatever pieces of clothing they had left on their body and ventured into the bathroom.

Just as he had speculated, at thirty minutes everyone was done with whatever needed to be done and they were already waiting outside for his orders.

Xander, Aramis and Sky marched forward after speaking to their troops, to inform the others f their arrangement.

“I got linked now with Arctic, they are awaiting our arrival and keeping a close watch,” Xander informed them.

“Okay,” Jade and the others nodded.

“How about the port, what would be the arrangement of our movement?” Minerva inquired from where she stood behind them all. “Is it like last time?”

A much as the others did not speak, they had similar thoughts and were ready to follow his orders, but this time around plans changed.

“No. It is not,” Xander began. “This time, we are coming with you.”

“Huh, Xander, I think it is best if some of us lead whichever troops would be going to sea,” Marlon suggested.

“I know. You, Jenny and Jay would lead the troops going to sea. While myself, Sky, Aramis, Astoria and Minerva, along with Jade, Asia and Macy, would go to the various warehouses.”
