303 I Miss You

CHAPTER 303

“I know...” His smile widened. It was at times like this that Jay took hold of more and did anything he wished to get back at him.

However, as he thought about the situation and how much he must have gone berserk on them, that was when a thought came to mind.

“Wait!” His eyes went wide as he centred his gaze on Jay.

“Hey, what is it?”

“Jade...”

He did not waste another second more and dashed off in the direction of the door.

BANG!

Both Jay and Sky trembled a bit from the shock of having the door slammed in such a manner. Regardless of that, all that could be done was smile at each other. Their friend was back.

Running as fast as his feet could take him, Xander got in front of the elevator and was about pressing on the button when his hands halted and he chuckled lightly.

‘What has Jade done to you this way, Xander? To the point, you have forgotten yourself and your powers.’ A soft smile played on his lips at the thought.

Shaking his head, he raised the lifted hand up a bit and snapped his fingers. Immediately he disappeared on the spot.

As for Jade, she tossed and turned on the bed, letting off a lovely giggle at how naughty she and Xander had been.

Unknown to her, she had set off the mate bond and only wanted to reminisce on good times. Her chest fell, letting off a heavy sigh.

She dropped her hands to the side and turned again on the bed till she was facing the ceiling.

The smile that adorned her lips slowly disappeared and all that was left on her lovely face was a hint of sadness and her flustered cheeks.

She blinked several, trying her best to hide the tears that threatened to spill. One second, she thought about them going wild intimately and the other, she was reminded again of her parents.

What hurt her more in the whole situation was the fact that while she tried to escape she did not get to see her parents. Her father who loved her dearly and her mother...

God bless her soul. She had only seen her when she visited in the room. Had she known that was the last time she would be meeting her mother, she would have hugged her and not let her leave.

Then there would have been a good chance of saving her even if she could not do anything for her father.

She heaved out another deep sigh and lifted her hand to cover her face. “Mum, dad... I miss you both.” Her brows creased and the tears she managed to fight back all this while finally fell off.

She drew in her nostrils and pressed her lips into a fine smile. “I miss you and everyone. And as much as I should feel so angry right now, I am missing the warmth of the man that... No. I shouldn’t say that.”

She rolled to her left side, ignoring how her silver hair fell forward, cascading on her face. “I miss Xander.”

Unknown to her he had long appeared in her room and concealed his presence from her.

At first, he wished to show her that he was around and run to her side but that was when she stopped giggling and faced the ceiling.

Immediately he felt a pang of pain in his heart and held himself back. Without being told he knew she was in pain, deep pain from the past.

As much as he wished she could move on from it, he did not have the guts to say that to her. She was strong but she was also fragile of heart.

That was when he heard her say... She missed him and he could no longer conceal his presence.

Although the mate bond was still in place, it was very different this time. She needed comfort and relief but all Xander could think of at that moment was how much he wished to hold her in his arms and tell her it was going to be okay.

“I miss you too,” he confessed and the invincibility spell he created wore off, revealing him standing by the door.

Her brows clenched at first but soon she realized it was not just in her mind, all of those things were happening and she looked up.

Watching her face relax when she saw him, Xander took that as his cue and dashed off at her.

The next thing Jade knew was that he moved and now was by her bed on one knee while his hands cupped her cape lovingly.

The pure look of love dancing in those dark onyx eyes of his melted her heart away instantly and she parted her lips in deep longing.

“I missed you.”

“Xander...” he cut her off there. He leaned in and pressed his lips on hers, silencing her properly while he poured his heart for her into the kiss.

She did not fight back nor did she resist him. Relatively, she pushed her head forward, meeting his kiss with hers eagerly.

Seconds passed and they finally broke off the kiss and smiled at each other. His eyes searched hers, loving everything he saw there.

He could see her need and want. All of her hidden and dark desires, carefully tucked at the back of her mind while the mate bond threatened to break them all free and give in to him.

Her breathing raged, her eyes fluttering ever so slowly as her gaze dropped to his lips once more, imagining how they once felt on her skin.

She lifted her eyes again and this time he saw her restraints break free. All her pleasures arose as her arousal assaulted his nostrils.

His nose flared; his breathing hitched. He was reacting to her need.

He wasted not another second and captured her lips again as he stood up slowly, bringing her body with him till she was standing on the bed.

Xander moved his hands down to her waist and pulled her body on him, causing her to fall forward and circle her legs around his waist while their make-out became even hotter.

He spun them around and pressed her back against the wall as his own desire for her broke out. His lips left hers, trailing kisses down her neck to her side and her shoulders.

Jade breathed in, letting out a soft moan, feeling his sweet kisses tickle at her nape.

“Xander...”

‘I miss you, babe.’ He said in his mind but she heard it loud and clear.

‘I miss you too.’ Jade confessed through the mind link. Her insides burned, her core ached, so much for more of him and she wanted all of him.

“Xander, please....”

He brought his head up, his lips claiming hers once more, while his hands feasted on her shirt, tearing them off, leaving her bra-clad breast to his big hands.

She sucked in her moan in their kiss, while her hips rolled on his at the feel of his hands on her.

Something she had craved for a while in silence.
