277 [Bonus chapter] Aramis’ Confession

CHAPTER 277

“Nice but naughty.”

The mischievous grin that became plastered on his face told her something different. It simply meant that he was unto something naughty.

“That aside, since you can cover for her, I think I need to keep you busy long enough.” The mischievous grin on his face widened, making her feel like danger was lurking in the shadows.

“Hey, Aramis, what are you doing?”

“What I am doing, huh?” He looked up playfully as though he was thinking and then dropped his gaze on her face. “How about changing the subject to what it was before?”

She widened her lovely eyes again before narrowing them and giving her best cute face, “Aramis, please. We should not be doing this.”

“I love you, Asia. This is my confession. I love you and at least now you know I did try to get you before. And this time I do not want to lose you.”

As much as those words were the best to hear right now, she needed to be sure of his conviction first. After all, he did have another lady in his mind, which put her at a disadvantage, “But why?”

“Because when I met you, I felt something stir up inside me. It has only happened once,” his eyes darkened and she knew that the Asteria girl must have been the one who ignited such in him.

“I know what love means. I want you. I want to be the person in your heart that would churn your insides and burn you with passion and love.”

“Dragons,” she subconsciously shook her head at him, piquing his interest at her choice of words.

“What about us? Dragons. We are not bad creatures. We are the most loving and passionate beings on this earth and the only ones who would care the most.”

“I see. Yeah. Hahaha...” Even though she laughed, she knew better. He was telling the truth. They were the best. At least from her interactions. They were better than humans.

He pinned her in position with his deliciously mesmerizing gaze and held her close again.

“Believe me, I love you.”

“I...” she was about to tell him how she felt but dissuaded herself again. “How was she going to do just that? Things weren’t as easy as she had thought them to be.

Her heart yearned for him. She wanted to be loved and love someone in turn but was she wicked or selfish to wish that she was the only one in his heart and wish that all he just said was true?

She wanted to know about Asteria so much but she did not know how she was going to bring it up and confront him on the matter.

“You do not have to love me now. Allow me to love you and win your heart, my lady.” A soft smile formed at the corners of her lips, leading to her eyes. “Allow me entrance into your heart.”

“Fine.”

“Yes!” He smiled and tightened his face in a victorious smile.

“Hold your horse’s, young man. I did not say yes to being yours or dating you.”

“Huh, I do not want to date you.”

“What? Excuse me.”

“Yes. I want to be yours and have you be mine.”

Right now, she was confused. Didn’t this just mean the same thing? They were going to date each other still, right?

Her mind was a mess right now trying to figure out this young guy but she could not.

“You would understand soon enough, my love.”

“I see.” She raised a brow at him while nodding her head. She simply was in for some surprises but she was not a keen person with surprises as t took her off guard and she loved being prepared for everything and anything.

Sigh! After all, she was supposed to be dead now. And now that she got another chance at life even though it was a torturous awakening, she was glad nonetheless.

Before the Frost family’s annihilation, she knew no love because she was so focused on protecting Jade but now after that, she found love with a dragon.

They may not be mates, but she was glad that someone was willing enough even knowing her profession.

“Baby, stop pacing out while with me. Or am I not handsome enough to catch your attention, my love?”

“You are and even more. I just thought about what you said, nothing more.”

“Okay. Whatever you say. I believe you.”

“Thanks.”

“I hope you trust me too?”

“What do you think?” Asia answered with another question of her own. From the look of things, there was no escaping for her with him, especially with how he held her close.

“I want to kiss you,” Aramis stated. Though to Asia, it was more like what he wanted than a question but she knew he was seeking permission in his own little way.

“Sure. Even if I say no, you would kiss me anyway.”

“Yeah,” He smiled, showing more of his lovely white teeth at her. “I would kiss you for as much as I can today babe.”

“We are at a part where we are getting used to each other and now you have jumped into making out.”

“I told you, I cannot go back to being friends. I do not want to be friend-zoned and watch as another guy steal my love away.”

“No one is stealing me. I am yours.” His smile turned into a grin, giving Asia the chills. “Yikes. I said that out wrong. I am not yours. Yet at least. But know that I like you very much, okay?”

“Hmm, whatever you say.” Without uttering any more words to her, he pressed his lips on hers with so much love and passion.

Seeing how fast things had progressed and with the others not paying them any heed, she parted her lips a bit and granted him entrance while returning his kiss and wrapping her arms around his neck to deepen it.

Beginning next month, I want to focus on my 2 books on the contract while taking one or two of my 4 other books to write so I can finish them in one month. I noticed that doing all 6 at once was hard. So I would be taking Astrid 1st and I would finish her this April unfailingly.

I would have added this book too but it still has a long way to go than MARRYING A TYRANT TO SAVE THE KINGDOM’ so if I am doing 2 old books, I would pick them to complete fast, so I can focus on this next and write more chapters for it.

I am sorry but I intend to write and pour all my emotions into it and not lengthen my books. So please forgive me. I would drop my privi to 100 coins, so, I would release 2-3 chaps per week, just so u know I haven’t dropped the book.
