"What is your plan now, Hunter?" Cal asked the moment I returned to the office.

"I don't know, Cal, I couldn't hurt her; she is my sister," I responded.

"But your wife and son could be in danger." He replied.

"I know," I responded feeling so defeated.

"I have to bring back Madeline to Neospoli, I will be back to take care of Charlotte," I replied.

"Leave it to me, Cal," I responded, but to be honest, I don't know how to stop my sister from hurting my family. I knew we have bodyguards guarding the castle 24/7, but still, while she is still out there formulating her revenge, I don't think I will have peace of mind." I responded.

"I know what you mean, Hunter." He said.

After the doctor said my wife could return home, we fly home the following day together with my mom and sister. We decided that Lily should continue her studies in Neospoli Country, and she will have her training at Hector's company.

"I couldn't believe Gina would break up with Jack," my wife said the moment we were alone in our room after we put our son into his bed.

"What?" I asked in disbelief.

"Why would she do that?" I asked.

"I don't know, she won't tell me the reason. I think something is going on with my best friend." My wife answered and I could tell she was very affected by Jack and Gina's breakup.

"Well, there is nothing we can do about matters of the heart, my love," I replied, and she let out a soft sigh as she nodded her head.

"Maybe you can speak with her," my wife said and I arched an eyebrow.

"Why so soon, my love?" Madeline asked after I told her I needed to go back to Archois.

"Calixto called me, and I have to be there for some important documents but don't worry, my love, I will be back before you know it," I said, and her face fell.

"I don't want you to go, but I don't want to be selfish, I knew how much the company means to mom, Lily, and you." She replied.

"You have to promise me you will come back to me," Madeline added, and she looked so adorable as she pouted her lips.

I kissed my wife on the lips before I got out of our room carrying my suitcase.

I flew back to Archois with a heavy heart, but I needed to do something to make all of us safe, and I hope my plan would work.

"What a surprise, Mr. Divenson," Jack said the moment he met me, I knew he was busy inside his kitchen, but I couldn't wait to speak with him.

"Yeah, I came all the way here from Neospoli just to see you," I responded and he furrowed his forehead.

"I am sorry if I came unannounced, but after I heard about your break up with Gina, I couldn't rest," I said.

"Why does it matter to you? Are you afraid I will go after your wife?" He asked, and I laughed.

"It will never happen, I am confident my wife is only in love with me even if I had been a jerk. Maddie chose to love me, and I love my wife so dearly, she was worried about you, she cares about you, Jack." I said, and he fell silent.

"I know I don't have any right to meddle with your personal affair, but you are a good chef, a very talented one, I heard you were planning to sell your restaurant since you are planning to go abroad," I said, and it caught his interest.

"Are you planning to buy it?" He asked, and I shook my head.

"No, but I have a proposition for you," I said and he looked at me with interest.

"What kind of business is that, Mr. Divenson?" He asked.

"I don't think I can discuss this matter with you here, if you are interested, I will be waiting for you at my residence tonight. I know you have customers waiting in line, I am sure you will never say no to this, Jack, I will give you a nice offer you can't refuse." I responded.

"I don't want to do it, but I am curious, I will be there," he replied, and I got out of his restaurant feeling hopeful that my plan would work out.
