Chapter 23 - The Enemy

Unlike before, Li Na had a wronged expression on her face. When those colleagues saw that Qin Ran had arrived at the department, they actually showed a look of disdain.

This confused Qin Ran.

Qin Ran didn't have any good friends in the company. However, the intern Sun Xue beside her had a good relationship with her.

While Qin Ran was busy writing down his plans, he heard a message from WeChat. Ye Zichen picked up his phone and saw that it was a picture that Sun Xue sent him.

He clicked it open and saw that it was a screenshot. The screenshot showed a group chat. It was a group chat from the Qin Ran department.

There were 32 people in his department, but there were only 31 people in the group chat. Qin Ran was the only one missing.

Only when Qin Ran carefully read the chat logs did he realize that these people were actually saying that she slandered Li Na as her replacement, that Qin Ran had gone overboard with his colleagues in order to gain the favor of his superior, and had even framed his colleagues who were working with him.

When the crowd saw Qin Ran being drenched in soup, they started to discuss among themselves.

Although she still couldn't react in time, Qin Ran knew it was silly to stand here and be talked about. She turned around and left the cafeteria.

After she went to the locker room to get her spare clothes, she hurried to the bathroom.

She must have been a little flustered, because she bumped into someone.

Qin Ran quickly apologized and raised his head to find that it was Gu Lingfeng.

She wanted to escape into the ladies' room, but was stopped by Gu Lingfeng, "What's wrong with you?"

Qin Ran didn't say anything and just nodded. When she sat down and prepared to eat her porridge, she turned her head and looked at Gu Lingfeng, who was sitting beside her.

"You can leave. I'll take care of myself. Thank you." Qin Ran did not want Gu Lingfeng to take care of his. She did not want to attract the attention of so many people.

Gu Lingfeng nodded, turned around, and walked out of Qin Ran's room, closing the door behind him.

Qin Ran was alone in his room, eating porridge. The thoughts in his head drifted far away.

She thought about all the hardships she had suffered because of Gu Lingfeng, but she also missed the care and concern Gu Lingfeng had for her. All of this made her feel extremely sad and conflicted. There was also a faint sadness in Qin Ran's eyes.

However, Qin Ran's self-healing ability was really strong. When he woke up the next day, he was already full of energy.

After she got up and went out to eat breakfast, she directly came to the company.
