Name:Lop-Eared Guard Author:Lin Qian
Half an hour later, Dr Sun came over to hand Yan Yi the examination report.

When Yan Yi took it, he had in fact already known the result in his heart, but there was always the process of accepting reality.

Looking at the various indicators, Yan Yi’s face gradually turned red.

He lifted his face and asked in surprise, “Confirmed pregnancy?”

Xia Jingtian’s eyes widened. He grabbed the examination report and read it line by line.

Fuck, how could this be?

Standing a head taller than Dr Sun, he grabbed him by the collar and gritted his teeth as he glared into Dr Sun’s eyes, “You didn’t make a mistake, did you? I’m telling you, our family runs a hospital too. If I go back and find out a different result, you’ll be in bad luck.”

The lion’s imposing pressure flowed out with the release of oppressive pheromones.

Dr Sun smiled implicitly and reluctantly. He told Yan Yi to have more rest and other pregnancy matters before leaving in a hurry, all the ballpoint pens he brought with him falling onto the chair.

Yan Yi took the examination report, feeling as if the stone in his heart had fallen. He carefully folded it into a square and put it in his pocket before getting up to leave. He suddenly wanted to eat the shepherd’s purse dumplings near the bar, maybe the baby in his stomach was hungry.

“Ai, I’ll take you to my family’s hospital to check again, I think something’s wrong.” Xia Jingtian wanted to take a picture of the examination report and send it to his classmate, but Yan Yi put the report away and refused to take it out.

“Do you not want me to have a child that much?” Yan Yi didn’t want to argue with him. He folded the paper cup and threw it into the trash can, “You have a gege, a dad and mom, I don’t have anyone, I just want the baby to stay.”

He wrapped his coat tightly and headed downstairs.

“It’s not that.” Even though Xia Jingtian was spoiled growing up, he still had empathy. He wouldn’t be relieved because of Yan Yi’s false pregnancy. He could obviously see how much Yan Yi looked forward to the birth of this child, he was just worried about Yan Yi’s health.

So he stood at the entrance of the elevator and couldn’t say a word, seeming to be deeply wounded by Yan Yi’s suspicious eyes.

He went downstairs with a sigh in his heart, slamming the car door close with a bam before sitting in the driver’s seat and closing his eyes to calm down.

Several communications apps in his phone sounded endlessly. He had just changed his number a few days ago, yet there were some students whom he didn’t know where they got his contact from who had added him as a friend to flirt.

So, out of spite, he changed his nickname to ‘Married, get lost.”

Second young master Xia had grown up so big, but it was the first time someone could make him suffer from grievance in his heart, and the other party was just an ordinary little rabbit.

His classmate called at this time, “Hello, dick, are you still flirting with that rabbit gege? You don’t’t even look at Wechat.”

Xia Jingtian was annoyed to death, “Fuck off and annoy your laozi.”

The classmate spoke louder, “Is it not the time you want to ask me about false pregnancies? Your face is full of smiles when you ask for help but turn your face back when you don’t need help, fuck, who the hell do you think you are.”

“Don’t talk to me about false pregnancy, they really are pregnant.” Touching a sore spot, Xia Jingtian picked out his ancestors and cursed them all, “You’re just a quack.”

Classmate: “…That can’t be. You should bring him here.”

Two knocks came from the window. Xia Jingtian rolled it down, “Who is it!”

Yan Yi held the window, “I’m sorry, I went too far just now.”

“…” Xia Jingtian’s temper was gone in a short moment, and he took off his sunglasses, “Then kiss me and I’ll forgive you.”

“Forget it, don’t forgive me then.” Yan Yi was in a good mood and wasn’t at the same level as Xia Jingtian’s deliberate teasing.

XIa Jingtian drove slowly to follow him with his head out the window, “Treat me to dinner tonight, I made a trip to accompany you anyway.”

Although Yan Yi didn’t even need him to make a trip, it was inevitable to be cheeky and coquettish to pursue someone older than himself.

How could an omega be so independent and don’t need to depend on an alpha?

Yan Yi didn’t want to go with him. Whenever he was together with Xia Jingtian, he would always need to consume physical strength to resist the high compatibility fit. It was distracting and taxing, so he turned into the path.

Xia Jingtian had no choice but to drive to the main road.

Nan Qi’s architectural style had an implication of a quaint town. Every few steps of the bluestone brick paving along the alley would be hung with wooden road signs with twisted flowering vines.

Yan Yi picked up his boss’s call along the way.

Gu Wei: “Are you done with your business? I bought dried flowers from Zhong Ling street. Come and help me move them.

Yan Yi looked around in all directions to find the road sign. The next intersection was just Zhong Ling street, which wasn’t far away.

“I’m done, I’m just close by, I’ll head over now.”

——

At five in the afternoon, Chang Nan expressway was congested like a clogged-up turbulence. The sky was getting dark, and the lights on each side of the road lighted up in sequence.

Lu Shangjin had already driven off the ramp of Chang Nan expressway, a large bouquet of roses were kept fresh in a box placed in the back seat of his car.

He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel as he waited for the red light. In addition, there was an old platinum ring on the ring finger of his left hand.

The night before yesterday, he didn’t control himself and let out some harsh words to Yan Yi. Feeling despondent, he made a trip to Ruins bar after finishing his work.

As he passed down Zhong Ling street, he glanced at the time; he could still take Yan Yi out to dinner.

——

Gu Wei was standing in front of the flower shop on Zhong Ling street with five to six boxes of dried flowers stacked by his feet. This flower shop was hidden in the alleyway so a car couldn’t come in, and only the owner’s little daughter was watching the shop.

Yan Yi walked over, bending down to lift two boxes, and gently held the bottom with his left hand. With a hook of his toes, he picked up a box and stacked it on top easily like he was elegantly holding a tray of red wine.

Gu Wei rubbed his hands and picked up two of the large boxes of decorative dried flowers, “The car is waiting by the road. How’s the result of your checkup?”

“Your employee is very healthy.”

“That’s good then.”

Turning around the corner, Yan Yi accidentally bumped into a pedestrian who was turning from the other side of the right corner. The dried flower boxes he was holding were still stacked steadily. He lifted his eyelashes and said, “Sorry.”

“Oh, hey.”

Shao Wenjing gave him a hand, picking up the fallen examination report from the ground. He opened it and took a look, “Aiya, you’re pregnant, congratulations.”

Yan Yi took the examination report back, dissatisfied with the ungentlemanly behaviour of opening up someone’s dropped article without permission, but he had enough self-control to prevent himself from getting angry.

Shao Wenjing hung those seductive peach blossom eyes and blocked Yan Yi. Actually, he was looking at the glands at the back of his neck. It was still a clean and smooth light red.

He was clearly marked when he saw him before, but now the mark had disappeared.

Unexpectedly, Lu Shangjin had already removed the mark, it seemed that the power of that photo from before was really strong. For a possessive peregrine falcon alpha, what could make him more insane and out of control than dirtying his omega?

It didn’t seem to require so much effort. Taking advantage of the fact that the little white rabbit’s glands had only recovered to the J1 grade, it would be so convenient to forcibly mark him. After all, an A3 grade omega can have a serious psychological dependence on the alpha who has marked him.

The seemingly ordinary and weak lop-eared rabbit who surprisingly possesses the A3 glands was really the envy of others.

Yan Yi had a good memory. At a glance, he could recognize that this was the spider masseuse he called for at the club three years ago. He also remembered the sense of dread that ran through his body when Lu Shangjin threw the intimate photo of them at his feet.

Under the dim street lamp, Shao Wenjing’s eyes seemed to be covered with a metallic lustre, like the compound eyes of insects, the corners of his eyes raised upwards. He stared at Yan Yi with a gentle smile in his eyes, but it made one’s hair stand on end.

“Are you alone?” Shao Wenjing put his hands in his pants pockets, bowing and lowering his head close to Yan Yi as he took a whiff of the soft and sweet scent of milk candy.

Before Yan Yi could speak, Gu Wei turned the corner while carrying the dried flowers and froze when he saw Shao Wenjing.

Shao Wenjing grabbed Yan Yi’s shoulder as if no one else was present and exposed his sharp canine teeth, a metallic film shining in his eyes.

“Ai, what are you doing!” Gu Wei tossed the dried flowers and was about to take action, but Shao Wenjing took two steps back under the surprised gaze, his back defenselessly hitting the wall hard.

Yan Yi glanced back. Xia Jingtian was just a few steps away, his right hand still in a raised position, his chin lifted slightly as he watched Shao Wenjing and said provokingly, “Uncle, don’t move, I’m afraid I’ll accidentally squeeze you into a meat patty.”

The mountain lion race’s J1 differentiative ability “Gravity manipulation”.

“…Didn’t expect that there would be another M2 alpha besides me in this small place.” Shao Wenjing released oppressive pheromones, using his glandular energy to resist the greatly increasing gravity around him as he stood up slowly.

“Xiao Xia, don’t fight here.” Yan Yi frowned and backed away, when suddenly the blaring of horns sounded behind him.

A black BMW 760li stopped behind. Lu Shangjin got off from the driver’s seat and leaned against the door before lighting a cigarette.

“Quite lively.”
