CH 11

Name:Lop-Eared Guard Author:Lin Qian
In a campfire town of Keldivia, sparks flew from the burning pinewood, floating up the dark night sky.

Yan Yi walked along the echoing deep and narrow alleyway, his windbreaker swaying in the wind. He carried a 590M gun with an overheated muzzle as he held onto the gunshot wound on his left lower abdomen. He stepped over several hyena alpha corpses that were shot into sieves, the soles of his black, shiny laced-up marine boots stained with sticky blood. Stepping on the sticky ground, he trudged step by step.

He passed by a flower shop. The boss was an ordinary middle-aged beta whose glands cells were dormant and undifferentiated, holding a child tightly as he shrank into a corner of the wall. With shaking hands, he poured out all the money from the cash register at Yan Yi’s feet, kneeling on the ground as he begged, “Don’t… don’t shoot…money, take all the money…”

The florist covered the child’s eyes as he begged Yan Yi with his head trembling. Under the windbreaker, the handsome youth was wearing a pitch-black butler suit, his figure tall and slim, a gentle and beautiful omega. In his soft ash-grey hair, two velvety rabbit ears moved lightly, dusting away the snowflakes on the tip of his ears.

It was this omega who confronted ten jeeps of J1 differentiated hyena alphas at the end of the lane just now. Facing off more than a dozen powerful and swift alphas with only a painted 590M shotgun, he was the only one who walked out alive.

Yan Yi bent down and picked a rose from the flower barrel on the counter, carefully removing the white silk that stopped the rose from blooming. His bloodstained hands looked drastically pale from the blood loss and fatigue.

He put the rose in his front pocket.

Lu Shangjin had always liked such aggressively rich fragrant flowers. Yan Yi touched the back of his neck, his glands tightly sealed beneath a black neck protection guard to avoid injuring the omega’s most vulnerable point during battle. It was also able to conceal his soft milk candy pheromones from leaking out, so as to not agitate Lu Shangjin.

At the intersection, a street light wasn’t on, and a silver-grey Porsche was parked under the shadow. Yan Yi leaned over and knocked on the window.

“Xiansheng, it’s done.”

Lu Shangjin opened his eyes and pushed open the door. He pushed Yan Yi against the car and looked him up and down, like an elegant and overbearing panther examining his prey.

With one hand holding the shotgun in his belt, he pulled out the rose from his front pocket with his right hand. He handed it to Lu Shangjin and said with a smile, “Xiansheng, you’re like a black panther under the moonlight, I love you.”

In exchange, Lu Shangjin kissed him fiercely, impatiently tearing off Yan Yi’s neck protection guard. He pressed him against the car door, licking the glands on the back of his neck as he listened to the soft and obedient omega’s painful breaths in his arms.

Yan Yi said softly, “Xiansheng, the mission went very smoothly.”

He hoped these words made Lu Shangjin more calm.

Lu Shangjin was indifferent, “That’s what you’re meant to do.

Without caring about Yan Yi’s gunshot wound, Lu Shangjin held his side tightly. Yan Yi clenched his teeth as he endured the severe pain given from his lover. Every time they had sex, his alpha would make him experience the anticipatory excruciating pain from inside.

The lop-eared rabbit was a very vulnerable race.

Yan Yi watched the cold and tall alpha from the rearview mirror.

How blissful and lucky it would be if his alpha could caress his back or gently hold his head. Yan Yi bowed his body as he fantasized about the alpha’s comfort.

In Lu Shangjin’s eyes, his omnipotent bodyguard Yan Yi was a romantic and sentimental bitch.

In Yan Yi’s eyes, each confession was a bitter and agonizing last wish in his heart when he had a slim chance of surviving. He passionately and silently loved his alpha as he wanted to chase him back and make up for his mistakes.

Yan Yi helplessly held onto the car door, no longer struggling, and allowed Lu Shangjin to do whatever he pleased with his body.

New skin was still growing out of the removal marks on the glands at the back of his neck, the detailed pain a constant reminder to Yan Yi that they had divorced just a week ago.

Or, it wasn’t qualified as a divorce, they had just broken up.

Lu Shangjin had gotten rid of him from the villa he had lived in for so long. Since then, work was work, but threads still remained from their broken feelings.

He knew he was at fault.

A couple’s feelings were the most fragile during the Seven-year itch1. Lu Shangjin often didn’t return home, so Yan Yi had to stay in the lonely and empty villa alone.

During his heat periods, Yan Yi couldn’t relieve himself at all, enduring until he had splitting headaches. The remaining packages of used inhibitors and painkillers were strewn all over the floor, but he was still in terrible pain.

When he finally couldn’t bear the torture of his heat, he had put on his coat and cotton hat, covering half his face with a big fluffy scarf and sneaked into a club to book massage from a spider alpha.

As soon as the spider alpha entered the room, he took off his clothes as part of the routine.

Everyone knew what he was up to for an omega in heat to sneak into a club in the middle of the night. The spider alpha didn’t spend much time talking. This little omega looked beautiful and cute, it must be a hot and sleepless night tonight.

Unexpectedly, when Yan Yi took off his coat, he wore a soft and lovely home knitted sweater underneath. He obediently lied on the massage bed, presenting his back to the spider alpha. A little shy, he faced the floor as he pleaded, “… don’t have to take off my clothes, just touch, touch my back.”

The spider alpha was taken aback, smoothing back his stylish highlighted hair.

He then caressed this omega’s back for the whole night.

The little lop-eared rabbit turned over comfortably, his eyes half-lidded with sleepiness, then gradually closing his eyes as his breath turned steady and gentle. His curled eyelashes resembled an insect shaking its dewy wings under the twilight, his little ears moving occasionally.

The spider alpha watched in a daze. He couldn’t help but bend down with his hands resting on his knees and steal a whiff against the little lop-eared rabbit’s forehead.

He’s so cute.

He was so cute that it made others willing to caress his back all night without taking off their clothes and asking for money.

He was a clean omega. Unfortunately, there was a mark on the glands at the back of his neck. He was already married, so he couldn’t think about him anymore.

When Yan Yi comfortably passed his heat period with the touch of the spider alpha and went home, Lu Shangjin was waiting for him on the couch. With a judging look in his eyes, he asked, “Where did you go last night?”

Yan Yi opened his mouth, afraid to tell the truth and make Lu Shangjin angry, so he came up with a reason in an attempt to stall.

Instead, Lu Shangjin threw a photo at Yan Yi’s feet.

In the photo, the little lop-eared rabbit nestled on the massage bed, while an elegant masseuse alpha lowered his head to kiss his forehead intimately.

This was a possessive alpha’s most naked provocative and disdainful action,

Due to the noble status of the second-grade differentiated peregrine falcon alpha, Lu Shangjin couldn’t stand the little rabbit’s blatant betrayal.

Yan Yi would also fight back when he was in his early twenties, so they broke up at that time–

An incompatible pair of lovers from the battlefield who fought side by side after weathering gunfire smoke, failed to withstand the many cracks of the seven-year itch. From passionate love towards destruction.

Now, Yan Yi was carried and thrown out of the door again.

He still had a bank card in his wallet which he had saved when he worked with Lu Shangjin. After their breakup, he became an ordinary employee under Lu Shangjin with a fixed monthly salary. Unlike how he treated other omegas like sugar babies, Lu Shangjin wouldn’t give Yan Yi a card that he couldn’t even finish spending in his lifetime.

He had to find a warm place for the little baby in his belly to live in.

So, holding his little belly under the warm cashmere sweater, he left Lu Zhai garden dazedly.
