Chapter 176 New Skill Gained!

Liu Yong had no choice but to give up on his plans temporarily.

"For now, Overlord, let's leave the items here and retrieve them in the future as per our requirement. Please remember this location," he instructed Bawang.

Bawang nodded and assured Liu Yong, "Master, you can count on me. I will remember this place."

After that, Bawang departed from the cave and did not return. It preferred staying one to two kilometres below the surface, finding comfort in the peace it offered.

Observing Bawang's departure, Liu Yong turned off the pet panel and pondered his pet's growth. He knew that Bawang would weigh around 100 tons in the next few days, given that it had already slept for three whole days when its weight had reached nearly 100 tons.

Liu Yong was curious about what would happen next and how Bawang could surpass this bottleneck.

Time flew by, and within a couple of days, Bawang's weight had reached 100 tons. However, as Liu Yong had anticipated, its weight remained the same as this mark and stuck.

Liu Yong attempted to communicate with Bawang again, who was sleeping in a seabed about three to four hundred nautical miles away from Huahai City at a water depth of approximately 1,000 meters.

"Overlord, how are you feeling?" asked Liu Yong.

Bawang stretched and yawned, responding, "Master, I feel fine, except for the constant hunger. I feel sleepy when I'm full."

This was true. Since its weight had reached 100 tons, Bawang felt an insatiable hunger, eating seven to eight tons of food daily, but it still did not seem enough. It felt hungry again within a few hours, even when it was complete. Bawang couldn't ignore the constant hunger, and it was the same whether it was day or night.

"Oh, I'm hungry again. I need to eat and find something to eat," Bawang complained.

Liu Yong was puzzled by Bawang's insatiable appetite, unable to comprehend how it could eat so much without gaining weight.

However, as Bawang didn't seem to experience discomfort and ate and slept, Liu Yong eventually stopped worrying and allowed it to roam around in search of food.

Thankfully, food in the sea was abundant, and despite consuming more than 20 tons of it during each meal, Bawang had no trouble finding enough to satisfy its hunger.

Its remarkable speed meant that any large fish it set its sights on couldn't evade its grasp.

This pattern continued for three days, with Bawang eating until it was full, sleeping soundly, and then waking up to search for more food, whether day or night.

Despite consuming such enormous amounts of food, its weight remained stable at 100 tons, leaving Liu Yong to wonder how long this state would last and when Bawang would finally surpass this weight threshold.

Meanwhile, Qiu Yang was quick to act, assembling a top-notch architectural design team and presenting several design sketches to Liu Yong within a week. "Boss," he said, "Here are some designs for our Universal Building. Please take a look and let us know which one you prefer."

Once Liu Yong chose a design scheme, the team would begin working on detailed and specific plans for the building.

Liu Yong was enthusiastic as he sat on the boss chair, poring over the design sketches in front of him with great seriousness. The graphic and straightforward design of the Universal Building was laid out before him on paper.

The sketches showed that some of the Universal Buildings were designed to have magnificent glass exteriors with boxy and towering cuboid structures.

Others had a cylindrical or oval appearance, each with unique design characteristics. The designs were undoubtedly the work of a first-class design team.

After careful consideration and contemplation, Liu Yong chose the No. 2 design plan. This particular design incorporated the design style of the Yan Kingdom and ancient pagodas, making it stand out from the rest.

The entire building was designed octagonal, reminiscent of ancient towers but with a modern and fashionable touch. Its beautiful glass exterior wall added to its charm, making it the epitome of modernity.

Standing at a towering height of 458 meters, the building comprised 98 floors above ground and three below. Starting from the 81st floor, it slightly retracted upwards, culminating in a spire and a sightseeing floor at the top.

As Liu Yong continued to examine the design, his admiration for it grew. He instructed the team to carry out a detailed and specific strategy based on the No. 2 design plan and complete all designs as soon as possible.

With sufficient funds at his disposal, there was plenty of money to see the project through to completion.

Liu Yong desired to have the Universal Building completed and used as soon as possible, symbolising innovation and progress.

Universal presently holds around eight to nine billion funds in its accounts.

ραпdα---nᴏνa| сom Each month, Ding Wen transfers the proceeds obtained from the sales and auctions of Song porcelain into Universal's account, which can range from a little over a billion to over twenty million.

Furthermore, the bank has handed over the rough diamonds to Qian Feihai for sale, resulting in a continuous stream of monthly income that is even more profitable than Song Ci.

Qiu Yang collected the design sketches and reassured his boss, "You can count on me, boss. I will do my best to expedite the construction of our building."

Deep beneath the sea's surface, the Overlord was feasting yet again. Its massive jaws had captured a 20-ton whale, and the beast was now devouring it with great gusto, consuming over a ton of flesh with each bite. The scene was nothing short of epic.

In ten minutes, the Overlord had ingested the entire whale, all 20 tons. Sated and sleepy, the Overlord swam more than a hundred miles until it found an uncharted island. The Overlord dragged itself onto the shore and quickly fell into a deep slumber.

Liu Yong watched his beloved pet Bawang, checking on him several times daily. A few hours earlier, he glanced at the pet panel and noticed that Bawang was napping on a deserted island, but he didn't think much of it at the time.

Looking at the panel again, he was surprised that Bawang was still asleep. For the past few days, Bawang had been sleeping more deeply and for more extended periods than usual. Several hours later, Liu Yong checked in on Bawang again, only to find him sleeping soundly in the same spot.

This realisation gave Liu Yong hope: perhaps Bawang was on the brink of breaking through the 100-ton bottleneck. The deep slumber lasted three days and three nights until Bawang finally stirred, feeling invigorated and revitalised.

"Master, I'm awake, and I feel stronger than ever before,"

Bawang's voice echoed in Liu Yong's mind. Overjoyed, Liu Yong quickly opened the pet panel to check on his beloved pet.

After breaking through the bottleneck, Liu Yong immediately saw that the Overlord had gained a new skill.

The skill was called "Sprint," It allowed the Overlord to unleash an instant burst of tremendous strength and speed, delivering a powerful impact to its target.

Liu Yong was impressed by this new skill, as it would be instrumental in battle.

If the Overlord ever encountered an opponent, it could use Sprint to knock them off their feet. And, if the opponent failed to react quickly enough, the Overlord could take them out with a swift blow from its giant spear.

The skill reminded Liu Yong of the infamous "Brutal Rush" or "Ten Steps and One Kill" moves from the legendary game.

He couldn't help but wonder how much easier things would have been if the Overlord had possessed this skill during its previous battle with the giant squid.

With the massive spear in hand and the Sprint skill, the Overlord could have ended the fight much more quickly and efficiently.
