Chapter 97 Thrilled & A Big Surprise!

In front of the massive shark, some individuals boldly approached and snapped a picture, likely intending to impress their friends with the daring feat.

Chen Hu observed the creature and said,

"Boss, the giant shark has been defeated. Should we notify Jiro Kimura?"

Liu Yong considered this momentarily and replied,

"Yes, give him a call and inform him of the news."

Initially, the plan was to rest for the night and inform Jiro Kimura in the morning.

However, Liu Yong realized that concealing the matter was not an option. They had to notify him immediately.

With permission granted, Chen Hu retrieved his mobile phone and dialed Jiro Kimura's number.

After Jiro Kimura reported the situation to his superiors at the Tanaka Foundation, he returned to his office, settling into his chair.

Before his seat could warm up, the phone rang, signaling an urgent update.

As the phone connected, a voice speaking in Mandarin emerged from the other end. Fortunately, Jiro Kimura was an expert in Yanguo and fluent in Mandarin.

"Mr. Kimura, this is Chen Hu from Global Marine Services," spoke Chen Hu.

"Mr. Chen, do you require our assistance? If you're seeking the location of that giant shark, we can be of little help. It is quite elusive, and you will need to search for it yourself,"

responded Jiro Kimura.

Before finishing his sentence, Chen Hu interrupted,

"Kimura, we don't need that kind of help. I'm calling to inform you that we've successfully hunted down the giant shark."

"What?!" exclaimed Jiro Kimura, his hand trembling with surprise.

"Is this true? Have you really managed to hunt and kill the giant shark so quickly?"

Chen Hu confidently replied,

"It's absolutely true. I have no reason to lie to you about this matter. The body of the giant shark is currently on our boat. You can come and confirm it."

Jiro Kimura was thrilled and said, "Okay, I'll come over right away."

Chen Hu quickly reminded him,

"Please hurry up. Our boss wants us to set sail back to Huahai City today."

"Okay, I'll come as quickly as possible," replied Jiro Kimura.

However, he would have come over as fast as possible, despite Chen Hu's reminder.

The hunting and killing of the giant shark was a significant event for them.

Jiro Kimura immediately made arrangements for a helicopter and assembled the necessary personnel.

He then ran to his boss to give him the news. Upon hearing the report, his boss showed evident surprise and immediately ordered Jiro Kimura to act.

He wanted to see the giant shark that had been hunted and killed for himself.

This cursed giant shark had caused them a lot of trouble and had cost $300 million.

They detested the creature. Yet, they also felt a sense of relief and extreme happiness that this big problem had been resolved.

After Mujiro's departure, the boss couldn't help but a sigh of relief, feeling relieved that the troublesome situation had been resolved.

He turned to one of the crew members and said,

"Can you believe it? We finally got that damn shark."

The crew member grinned back,

"It's a real monster, boss. I can't wait to tell my friends back home about this."

Others on board were also excited about the successful hunt of the giant shark.

They eagerly took photos with the massive creature as a souvenir, with one crew member exclaiming,

"I'm definitely making this my new profile picture!"

One particularly daring individual even touched the teeth of the giant shark with their bare hands, marveling at their sharpness.

Another crew member joked,

"We should start selling these teeth as souvenirs. We could make a fortune!"

The crew members were very excited. Liu Yong looked at them and smiled happily. He was in a good mood, but he didn't take a photo with this giant shark but just took some pictures of that shark with his mobile phone.

Liu Yong's attention was focused on Bawang's whereabouts.

After Bawang left the scene, he had been swiftly swimming at a depth of one to two hundred meters underwater, traveling at over 150 knots in the direction of the sunken ship.

When Liu Yong arrived at the location, it had already been nearly an hour and a half, and he knew that it would take Bawang around the same time to swim back.

As of yet, Bawang had not yet reached the sunken ship's location, but he was still quickly swimming toward it.

In the distance, a helicopter could be seen approaching, and it eventually landed on the deck of the salvage ship.

Jiro Kimura stepped off the helicopter accompanied by several people. Upon seeing the giant shark that had caused so much trouble, he couldn't contain his excitement.

Finally, the culprit responsible for 20 to 30 murders was caught and killed.

Jiro Kimura was relieved that the giant shark had been hunted down and that it would no longer cause any further trouble.

He was also happy that the international condemnation of RB would gradually decrease and eventually end.

Jiro Kimura and his men approached Liu Yong, and Jiro extended his right hand in a warm handshake, thanking him for successfully hunting down the giant shark.

Liu Yong smiled and reminded Jiro to check and accept the giant shark.

He also reminded him that the agreed-upon amount of 300 million US dollars would be transferred to their company's account within 24 hours.

Jiro Kimura quickly agreed to the terms. He then signaled for his professionals to begin inspecting the giant shark.

They even took out a tape measure to measure some of its dimensions.

After the inspection and acceptance were completed, one of the professionals reported to Jiro Kimura, who nodded slightly in approval.

Liu Yong and his team had done an excellent job hunting down the giant shark.

After exchanging pleasantries with Liu Yong, Jiro Kimura couldn't help but ask about the giant hole in the hunted shark's body.

"Liu Sang, why does this giant shark have a big hole in it?" he inquired.

Not wanting to reveal the truth of the Overlord's giant spear piercing the creature, Liu Yong kept it a secret.

"This is a secret. I am inconvenient to reveal it," he replied diplomatically.

Of course, Jiro Kimura and his team were curious about how Liu Yong had managed to hunt such a massive beast, but they didn't push the matter.

No one would have imagined that Liu Yong had a considerable pet snapping turtle that had done the job.

The Tanaka Foundation, represented by Jiro Kimura, accepted the giant shark, believing that Liu Yong possessed unique means to hunt such a beast.

As per their agreement, the body of the giant shark was to be handed over to the Tanaka consortium for scientific research.

"The acceptance was correct," Jiro Kimura said as he signed on behalf of the Tanaka Foundation.

Liu Yong ordered his salvage boat to wait until the Tanaka consortium's ship arrived to transfer the shark's body.

"We'll wait here until they come," he told his crew.

Meanwhile, Bawang, Liu Yong's loyal pet, was getting closer to the sunken ship, picking up its pace, and Liu Yong himself was eager to see the situation of the sunken ship.

"Let's see what we can find," he told his crew as they approached the site.

It was remarkable how much the relationship between Liu Yong and Jiro Kimura had changed since their initial meeting.

After chatting for a few words and expressing their thanks to each other, they had become much more respectful and courteous towards each other, indicating a significant shift in attitude.
