Chapter 265 [Bonus chapter]Finisher!

Roy chuckled, not at all feeling threatened by its gaze.

“With a raise of my eye, I canceled out the efforts of all three of you and killed your subordinates. Can’t you see it? You are no match for me. We aren’t your prey. It’s the other way around. You are the one that’s getting hunted down here.”

Roy stepped towards it fearlessly whilst taunting it even further, hoping to enrage it. When a person is angry, they make many mistakes. The same rule applies to anomalies.

“We’ll see.” It said, feeling enraged but not to the point where it would jump towards Roy and leave itself exposed.

It scrambled back to its feet, silently watching Roy approach it. Then, all of a sudden, it shouted at the walls, or rather, at what was behind them.

“Surround him!”

Countless wisps of red gushed out from the roof, walls, and floor, transforming into Red Mist Walkers, Mages, and Warriors.

In less than three seconds, Roy and his companions were surrounded by more or less 40 anomalies.

“You might be strong enough to overwhelm me. But I have the numerical advantage. Two hands can’t win against four. The three of you are no match against an entire horde of us.” It raised its hands, pointing towards Roy and laughing, “You know where this is going, right?! If not, allow us to make it clear to you!”

Immediately, the anomalies closed in on them like flies moving towards rotting food.

“I have been in similar situations countless times, and I came out of each one alive and perfectly unharmed.” Tevenlor coldly watched the twenty anomalies that were approaching him and stretched out his arms, and smiled. “Let me demonstrate how.”

In the very next instant, fiery heat waves gushed out of him and smashed into the anomalies like a freaking storm, with such strength that they were blown as if a truck had rammed into them.

Thud!

Some smashed into the walls, getting fixed into them, their nasty butts sticking out.

Some fell down on the floor like maidens tripping over themselves.

They looked like they were knocked out cold, but a closer look told the rank-5 anomaly that they were dead.

The system’s notification rang in Roy’s ears, who was fighting a battle of his own.

『Ding! Congratulation. Your subordinate ” Tevenlor” has killed 20 anomalies.』

『You gained 2000 EXP』

『You get 400 red orbs』

“W-what the heck did you do to them?!” This shocked the rank-5 anomaly beyond belief. “Why did they become stiff corpses after getting hit by your attack?!”

“Why do you look so surprised?” Tevenlor grinned at it, “Crimson Dragon’s blood is enough to corrode souls, and I have a bit of it in me. My last attack was infused with it. You can guess the rest.”

Meanwhile, Roy did the same thing as Tevenlor but added a little twist of his own to it.

As the twenty or so anomalies approached him and his beautiful wife, a wave of darkness swirled out of him, and from it, hands stretched out endlessly and so quickly that they reached the shocking anomalies before they could react.

All of these hands grabbed the anomalies by their ankles, wrists, or neck. They emitted black aura and lightning, both of which crawled up and down their bodies, wrapping them up like a dumpling, sealing their sight and movement, and giving them a taste of pain.

“Arghhhhhhh!”

They could sense nothing but darkness and pain and feel them seeping into their souls like the tentacles of a devil.

“Why can’t I free myself?”

“It’s too strong. I can’t… even cut… it!”

“Kill me. This is too much for me to bear. Just give me death!”

The anomalies cried out to their tormentor after realizing that they couldn’t free themselves from it and that it was better to die than be tortured and feel the pain of being bit by thousands of snakes every one-tenth of a second.

Their souls were overloaded with pain!

They wanted nothing more than freedom from their suffering.

The black aura lightning was doing a number on them.

“As you wish.”

Roy, the tyrant, snapped his fingers.

Crack!

Surging with indomitable strength, the black arms cracked the necks of some of them, and the black lightning exploded them to smithereens.

『Ding! Congratulation. You have killed 6 rank-2 to rank-3 anomalies. You gained a few thousand exp and ×120 red orbs.』

The system’s notification sounded in Roy’s ears, telling him what and how much he had gained from taking them down.

He ignored it, focusing on dealing with the rest of them.

Some were still desperately trying to survive, planning to escape the hold of his many strong arms by changing forms.

But before they could dematerialize, Roy raised his eyebrow, and they were yanked in the same direction by the black hands.

Reflected in Roy’s eyes was the scene of dozens of walkers falling towards the rank-5 anomaly.

It jumped back, dodging them.

“Your friends are missing you in the underworld. How about you go and pay them a visit?!”

Whilst taunting them, Roy swung his sword downwards, the physical manifestation of the roar of the sword infused with black aura lightning, rank-6 fire, and Arrow Force gushing out of its tip and flying straight towards the 15 remaining anomalies.

Sling!

Except for one, they were all cut into pieces and then blasted into smithereens by the thundering black arc of sharpness before it vanished!

『Ding! Congratulation. You have killed 14 rank-2 to rank-4 anomalies.

『You gained 9000 EXP.』

『You acquired a few hundred Red Orbs』

In one attack, he decreased the number of anomalies to only one.

Roy and Tevenlor stared at it while the Formless Siren poked her head out from behind him and stuck her tongue out at it.

‘You wanted to eat me? Who’s the one getting eaten now?! Hehe.’

The rank-5 spirit ignored her taunting look.

Actually, it was so shocked by how easily Roy cut them down that it didn’t notice it.

“Impossible… They are harder than divine steel. How could you cut so many of them with just one wave of the sword?!

“This doesn’t fucking make sense!”

It was going nuts, exposed to Roy’s true power.
