The snakes lucky enough to survive Roy’s brutal assault went away, hissing incessantly like their mothers have died, calling for reinforcement to deal with Roy.

The chamber was ridiculously large, almost three times as big and wide as the largest stadium on Earth, as it was meant to house dragons.

And… it was filled with snakes, an uncountable number of them!

Hiss, hiss!

From their poison-dripping mouths, they emitted hisses that were piercing to the ears and filling the air with sharpness, sounding exactly like the wails of banshees or the cries of ghosts as they charged towards Roy, threatening to swarm him.

“Looks like I will be annihilating another tribe of monsters today.” Roy narrowed his eyes at them.

Seeing no less than a hundred thousand slithering their way towards him, he stood tall and proud, as calm and collected as ever.

The difference between Aura masters and level 1 to 20 monsters was like Heaven and Earth.

As long as he had a considerable amount of aura or energy left in his body, they were like ants compared to him, ants that he could kill with a stomp.

He wasn’t afraid of fighting them all by himself, for he estimated that it would take an hour or so, but he will be able to overcome them in the end.

However, he had no desire to solo a tribe of snakes.

It would be the height of folly if he tried to solo them when he had better choices.

“You aren’t the only ones who have reinforcement.” Roy smiled at them evilly, taking out the runic sword, Piercer, from the subspace and pouring his aura into it, activating its special effect.

『Righteous Knight has been summoned.』

The slim, sharp sword lit up in resplendent light, releasing countless specks of blue that transformed into Moon Knight. Like always, he was holding a Javelin and surrounded by an overwhelming air of righteousness.

『Your First Shadow has been summoned.』

At the same time, Roy’s shadow split into two, and the lesser of the two rose from the ground, altering into Shadowless, his doppelganger.

Shadowless stared at the monsters that were closing in on them without any fear in his eyes, saying to Roy. “They seem to be in quite a pickle.”

Unlike humans, Shadowless only had a handful of emotions, with arrogance and pride being his main ones.

This led to him looking down at the snakes disdainfully as if he could blow them to hell with his fart and believing that the ones in trouble in this situation weren’t them but the snakes!

“Who is this arrogant motherfucker?!”

The snakes’ eyes twitched because they heard what he said and felt deeply offended.

“Fuck, this man made up of shadows is too much!”

“How dare he look down on us like we are ants that he can stomp to death?!!”

“Does he seriously think we are the one in trouble facing only three people?!”

“Kill him!”

The snakes hissed and sped up, creeping towards them way faster than before.

“Pfft!” Roy looked at how he used one sentence to make an entire tribe lose their mind in utter shock before he started laughing uncontrollably, knowing that his doppelganger was really starting to become the true representation of arrogance and pride and that he had taken his first step towards becoming a King of Edgelords.

He looked at Shadowless in respect, “Way to go, my man! You aggravated them just by existing.”

In the next instant, Shadowless treated more than 100 thousand monsters like thin air and turned his back to them to face his creator, kneeling to him.

“They outnumber us by just a hundred and 26 thousand. I am sure you can handle them yourself, master. Why did you summon us? To watch how you put them down?” Shadowless asked Roy.

“It’s as you think. I can solo them. But it will waste too much of my time. You see… their number is a bit of a problem for even me. To even it out, I summoned you two. With us three working together, it would only be a matter of minutes to clear the area of them.” Roy said to them confidently.

He was sure that the three of them against a 100 thousand snakes was a fair fight.

If his words had been heard by a normal someone, their jaws would have dropped.

Crazy! The third son of Badulf was crazy!

“True.” Shadowless agreed with Roy’s last sentence. “I will take care of them with range magic.”

“YOU PATHETIC WORMS THINK TOO HIGHLY OF YOURSELVES!” roared a 50 feet tall snake that surged out of the sea of snakes. Its eyes glowed red as it hissed, “Babies, eat them alive! Don’t give them a good death!”

Following its command, a massive wave of small and big snakes launched themselves at the back of Shadowless and the two pure Knights standing beyond him.

“Since you are so eager to enter hell!” In the split of a second, Shadowless turned to them, the look in his dark eyes sending a shiver down their spines as he raised his deadly black hand and stretched a finger in their direction. “Then die!”

“Descension of Doom: Clan Annihilating Bullet Rain!”

All the mana in Shadowless’s sea of magic disappeared.

Several hundreds of mana bullets appeared around him instantly, each glowing with blinding radiance.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Tens of thousands of snakes had just shortened the distance between them and Roy, Shadowless, and the Righteous Knight by 2-3rd when the ridiculous amount of mana bullets streamed forth from Shadowless like a cluster of blue lights.

Psh! Psh! Psh!

The shine of the eternally burning torchers on the walls illuminating the chamber was bolted out by them as they flew chaotically towards the big and small snakes, tearing into them mercilessly, exploding and shredding them.

At the same time, Hundreds of them rained down on the biggest white snake like a drizzle, leaving it with no path to escape to.

“Is this how I die?!” Its eyes widened as Death’s hand reached for its life!
