Chapter 120 The Lord on the throne?

“Swoosh!”

The two blue balls blasted through the air while swirling around, and they could be seen fusing into one heck of a giant that was as, if not more, disastrous than GhostWalker’s ultimate.

The Red-Feathered Knight raised his sword above his head and, a split of a second later, swung it down with such incredible strength that a sharp shockwave was created; the sword and the wind wrapping it sliced into the gigantic mana blast and split it into two perfect halves.

Each was soon to slide past him.

Roy’s trump card wouldn’t harm him nor move his hair an inch out of their place. Heh. That’s what he thought.

But… Roy thought the opposite.

The naughty and devilish smile on his face said it was time for the arrogant knight to suffer.

“Boom!”

As they were moving to his left and right, they destabilized so much that they exploded.

Caught off guard, he suffered the frontal assault of the explosion.

The shockwaves were so heavy that everyone in the room experienced an earthquake. Furthermore, Roy had to swing his swords down heavily to cut down a few shockwaves that came his way to avoid getting injured.

“Poof!”

A cloud of dust was also created at the point of the explosion.

Roy couldn’t see through it.

Thus, he didn’t know whether the knight survived it or not.

He didn’t have to wait long as, with a wave of the hand, the Red-Feathered Knight blasted away the Cloud of Dust.

He was revealed to the eyes of the onlooker, and what Roy saw made his expression fall like a man bungee jumping.

The knight was not injured in the slightest. There was, however, a huge crack on his armor. But that was it. It was the only damage Roy’s trump card did to him. Holy shit!

The subordinates of both lords could be seen brawling it out in the background.

Ignoring what was going on around them, they eyed each other.

And then… surprisingly, the Red-Feathered knight bowed to Roy!!!

Roy was absolutely taken aback by that.

“First the third song, and now your ability to use mana as a weapon to create a dent in my armor has proven my suspicions right… you’re indeed my lord!” The Red-Feathered knight said emotionally.

“Huh? Why don’t I remember having a knight like you serving me? Are you playing me?” Roy stared at him suspiciously.

If someone who was overpowering you at all turns suddenly bows to you and claims that you’re his master, wouldn’t you be mistrustful of him?

Roy couldn’t help but suspect that he would be dealt the finishing blow the second he lowered his guard.

Thus, he remained vigilant and even moved away from the knight.

Hearing his words, The knight straightened his back and blinked his eyes confusedly. “You don’t remember?”

“Exactly what is it that I have forgotten?” Roy questioned.

The Knight shook his head in disappointment and turned around. He could be seen walking away. He snapped his fingers. The Gargoyle fighting Delilah and the one chasing after Julian immediately flew back to their initial spot. They came to a stop at each side of the throne. They won’t move unless commanded. He also sat down on the throne and crossed his legs.

Only did he give out a reply. “The answers are yours to find.”

Roy: “…” Does this guy have a hole in the head? Why is every powerhouse like this?!!!

Delilah and Julian jogged up to him. They were wondering about what caused this sudden but pleasant change in their adverse situation.

“Since you’re here, I believe you’ve come to retrieve it.” The knight said after a moment.

“By “It,” do you mean the Chaotic flute?” Roy questioned.

The knight nodded in agreement. “Indeed, it was rightfully yours, to begin with. I’ve guarded it for too long. It has brought me needless trouble. Pests had come into my palace many times than I can count, disturbing me from my slumber. Now, this responsibility shall be handed over to you. You’ll have to safeguard from the vile souls, my lord!” He pulled out an item and threw it in the air.

Roy jumped and cached it.

Opening his palm, he saw that it looked like a part of a flute.

But he could feel a sinister vibe from it.

Instantly, he determined that it was the Chaos-Causing Flute’s 4th shard.

Roy felt like he was holding a weapon of mass destruction in his hand and that a secret agent would come and get him for possessing such a thing that could put millions of lives at risk.

“Such a big responsibility… I am not ready for it.”

He wanted to return it.

This was what Chaos was looking for.

If it found out it was with him, it would send hundreds, maybe even thousands of its followers, the truly powerful ones, after his little life in order to get it!

He wanted to remain in the shadow and disturb their plan while growing stronger.

But… This would bring a change in that.

“No one is born prepared. You must learn to face adversaries. This will attract bugs toward you. But you’ll grow after smashing them down to their rightful place – Hell! Good Luck!” After speaking, the Red-feathered bastard didn’t give him the chance to refuse as he opened a portal right beneath Roy and the other two people’s feet. They were sucked inside and vanished from the throne room.

“Creak!”

The next moment, the wall behind the throne parted open, revealing rows and rows of Knight, a statue of a half-elven man whose handsomeness was blinding, and a busty finger standing under its shadow was also seen.

A beautiful vixen dressed revealingly walked out of it and whispered into his ears, “He has returned. What should be done now?”

“He doesn’t remember anything. The day he does, the grandest throne of the night would have found its lord. It would mark the day of our return to the Far West. Prepare… for that fateful day. Awaken the men. Task them with the subjugation of nearby clans. Have them force the dissidents and the bestial creatures into submission. We would need an army to satisfy our lord.”

Hearing these words, The vixen walked back to the place she just came out of and smashed apart the magic circle next to the statue.

“A wait of hundreds of years… it will finally come to an end in this century.”

As she uttered that, the eyes of the hundreds of still knights glowed up as if they were coming back to life after slumbering away multiple eras.

That was some freaky shit!

And… Roy was completely unaware of it.
