Chapter 345 Healing Magic? Or...?

Haylee approached the beds and raised her right hand. Several golden magic arrays appeared right above the beds of every injured member of the order.

The Blacksmith Order's array activated the moment Haylee roused her magic. However, sensing that her magic was not harmful, it did nothing to counter her magic arrays.

Soon the whole room was filled with rich magic energies.

Kyran furtively checked the runes on Haylee's magic array and confirmed it was indeed Healing magic. However, that did not mean it was her innate magic.

Just like him, there was a possibility she was using Healing runes to camouflage her real magic.

Nevertheless, Kyran wondered why she had to enter the Winfrey Ancestral Lands.

According to Stella, once a firstborn girl of the Royal Family turns sixteen, she would need to enter the Winfrey Ancestral Lands. In three days, if she managed to get out, then it meant she had succeeded in acquiring the Soul Emperor's inheritance.

What was the Soul Emperor's inheritance?

One would normally think that the inheritance was Soul magic.

However, Kyran knew it was impossible. Because for one to wield Soul magic, one had to possess a Soul core.

Basically, if Haylee indeed inherited the Soul Emperor's inheritance, it meant she must possess a Soul core.

But, what about the Regis Ancestor?

The Dragon King had granted him Draconic magic. Did it mean, he received a Draconic core? Or was it through the blood of the Dragon King that possessed Draconic runes that the Regis Ancestor could wield Draconig magic?

If this was the case, then what about Kyran? How come he possessed a Draconic core?

Kyran forced himself to stop thinking of all these questions. He tend to overthink a lot of things before and ended up getting overwhelmed with questions. But now, he learned to force himself to stop not because he did not think it was necessary, but because he knew he would not be able to get answers at once.

Instead, he took note of all these questions and would find answers along the way.

While Kyran was thinking these, he saw Haylee close her eyes and open her mouth.

The whole room was instantly filled with a melodious tune as Haylee started to sing.

Kyran's heart skipped a beat as soon as he heard her song.

Haylee was singing the same song that Cyneah had sung when the latter saved him from the mutated basilisk.

And it was also then, when Kyran's soul seemed to tremble, that his Void core reacted. His Void energy instantly circulated inside him, as if to protect him from Haylee's song.

It would have been fine if that was all. But, almost at the same instant that his Void energy circulated, his Draconic core also stirred!

Once again, his Draconic energy turned chaotic.

However, unlike before when his central core could not contain it even with the Void energy trying to calm it down, this time, with the Shaiha's assistance, nothing happened.

If Kyran was not particularly sensitive to the movements of the magic energies in his body, he would not have noticed anything wrong, to be honest.

Even his expression remained the same. Though, he still appeared annoyed.

Nevertheless, with this incident, Kyran was now sure, that the Crown Princess was using Soul magic.

Meanwhile, Celine also could not help but looked at Haylee in amazement as her song flowed within her.

Because, Celine sensed her magic reserves had been replenished, and any fatigue she felt slowly disappeared.

'This... Is real Healing magic?' Celine wondered as she looked at Haylee's back.

Because of the Spirit incident, all information about the Princess had been tightly guarded. That was why the Conclave had no in-depth data on her, especially about her magic.

To think that she possessed such rare Healing magic!

It had been said that a mage who possessed Healing magic had natural talents in manipulating magic energy. For this reason, they were capable of nourishing and stimulating a human's natural healing abilities. In some cases, they could even reconstruct a person's damaged cells by converting the magic energy into a composition similar to cells. Open wounds, broken bones, and even missing limbs could easily be healed or regrown because of this capability!

Celine had never expected the Royal Family to have such rare magic amidst them.

Her amazement intensified as she saw visible changes in all the injuries of the members of the order.

A golden veil covered their bodies, and all their injuries healed at an alarming speed.

While Celine was feeling awed at Haylee's magic, Kyran was feeling the opposite.

Just like the first time he met Haylee, he could not calm down. He even had the urge of warping out of the room and going back to the cottage.

Alas, Kyran could only endure and retain his annoyed expression.

Finally, after almost three minutes, Haylee stopped singing.

The magic energy in the room slowly eased down as the golden veil that covered the injured members of the order dissipated in the air.

Once the golden veil was completely gone, Celine saw all the members looking as if they had not been injured!

Even Emmet looked the same before he was burned. His hair had also regrown.

"This..." Celine was speechless. She now felt a little awkward at how she accused no one could heal them apart from Avrum and Malia.

Haylee opened her eyes and turned to look at Kyran and Celine.

She smiled sweetly at them before saying, "Is this good enough?"

Celine immediately lowered her head, "A-Apologies, your highness. My remark early was—."

"It is fine," Haylee cut her midsentence and approached her. Still wearing a sweet smile she added, "I understand why you said that. Even I will have doubts in entrusting the lives of my people to a stranger."

"Y-You are not a stranger, your highness..." Celine replied. It was funny how she suddenly felt tongue-tied in front of her. She was not usually like this.

Err... except in front of Kyran.

In any case, why did it feel as if she could not oppose this young woman in front of her? And it was not because Celine knew Haylee was the Crown Princess.

There was another reason. But Celine could not place her finger on it.

Haylee chuckled at Celine's reply and placed a hand on her shoulder, "You can relax, Hall Master Celine. Rest assured, I did not take any offence to what you have said earlier."

As soon as Haylee said this, Celine's emotions seemed to relax as well. She did not realize how much she had worried about offending the Princess!

On the other hand, Kyran only looked at them with his unreadable expression.

"Now, then," Haylee said while heaving a short sigh. She looked up at Kyran and smiled gently before adding, "I suppose I have to leave now or else, I will end up annoying you further."

Kyran gave her a slight smile, "It's good that you understand."

His reply instantly evoked an amused glint in Haylee's sapphire blue eyes. Her smile widened as she said, "I really find you interesting, Disciple Tyr."

Kyran did not reply and only returned her gaze.

Celine suddenly sensed the atmosphere in the room dropping and cleared her throat. She did not understand Kyran's animosity toward the Crown Princess.

Though she knew the Royal Family was more or less involved in Kyran's current predicament, she did not think Kyran would openly show his hatred.

Hearing Celine clearing her throat, somehow brought some senses back in Kyran.

To be honest, his dark mood was not entirely because of Haylee. It had all piled up from when he did not get to finish his business with the Lumley Family, and then the Emperor arrived. It just so happened that Haylee's appearance was the last straw.

This would not do. Kyran still had to infiltrate the Royal Family. He could not afford to offend the Crown Princess any further.

Kyran closed his eyes and took a deep breath. By doing this, he could say what he was about to say without sounding fake, "I'm just not in the mood, right now. If I sound offensive, I'm sorry."

Haylee raised her brows at Kyran's sudden apology. She took a step toward him while saying, "Don't worry. I am not offended."

She stopped at least three feet away from him and added, "Although I admit, I feel a little sad that you don't think we are friends."

Kyran opened his eyes and was greeted by Haylee's sapphire blue eyes.

With an indifferent expression, he tilted his head to one side and said, "Because we are not—."

"Not yet," Haylee interjected with a playful smile. She looked up at Kyran and leaned toward him on tiptoes, then whispered in his ears, "I looked forward to the day when the two of us will be good friends."

Kyran kept a straight face and did not say anything.

He did not even move nor made a sound when Haylee leaned back and finally made her way to the door.

"Then, I'll see you at the Tower of the Conclave tomorrow, Disciple Tyr," Haylee said, and without waiting for a response, opened the door and left.
