The crowd of onlookers voiced their opinions, but in the center of the group stood Gu Qingcheng, holding a large bouquet of roses that almost covered her exquisite little face. In her other hand, she held a plastic bag.

"Don't make such a fuss next time. You can take your flowers back. I'll only accept the breakfast." Su Yu said, smiling as he accepted the meal.

"Goodbye, Brother Yu." Gu Qingcheng said loudly, her face flushed with embarrassment, as she ran to her car. She felt very uncomfortable being surrounded by so many people.

"This is so shocking!" someone exclaimed.

"Damn it! I'm so jealous! How can Young master Su make Miss Gu his little girl?" another person said.

"Seriously, this is like feeding a pig with a bunch of vegetables." a third person chimed in.

"Why are you all so jealous? Young master Su is our boss after all!" someone else said.

"That's right, and the Su family is one of the top families in the city. Their strength speaks for itself. It's normal for Miss Gu to promise to be with Young master Su." another person said.

"But, is it really necessary to be in such a humble attitude?" someone else asked.

"Su Yu is so despicable. My goddess... sob... sob..." yet another person cried.

"Alright, enough with the wild guesses. Let's go back to work. Young master Su is the one who pays our salaries." someone said, trying to calm everyone down.

The crowd continued to discuss what they had just witnessed, with some feeling angry and others guessing what had happened.

"I was just trying to survive, you know? To survive, I had to lower myself." Gu Qingcheng muttered to herself as she made her way to the headquarters of Qingcheng Group.

On the way there, she tried to convince herself that what she had just done was brave and bold. However, she didn't realize that her attitude towards Su Yu was changing with every step she took.

She parked her car and, in an instant, she regained her usual cold and aloof CEO persona as she walked quickly into the company building.

"Qingcheng, why are you so late?"
