427 Rainy Season, Coming ① ~ Rainy Inn Town ~

Name:Isekai Ryouridou Author:Eda
To Genos, the rainy season has arrived.

This seems to be a notable climatic shift in Selva, the western kingdom boasting vast prints, most notably in the southeast, where Genos is located.

During that period, the sunshine time will be extremely short and will be annoyed by moist, gloomy rain for much of the day. Even though rain in Genos is usually as strong and short as Skole's, this period becomes the exact opposite.

Furthermore, the temperature is said to be much lower.

In light of my senses, the temperature is usually about early summer in Japan, but that suddenly seemed to depress me to about late autumn.

So I decided to make a new outfit for the rainy season.

Anyway, it's my first rainy season. Before the full rainy season arrived, I decided to buy a long-sleeved jacket and a skin outfit, in accordance with the Advice of everyone I work with in Accommodation Town.

Both are made of solid cotton and are shaped like shirts and coats. The button is nuts and snaps a string on it to secure it. The jacket was sold in many different designs, but the one recommended to everyone was the one with the Sim-style geometric pattern knitted around it.

The leg coat was cavernous until about the middle of the shank even as it is now, and the mud peeled off and dirty easily when the hem was too long, so the new tone was removed.

However, I decided to replace the shoes only.

What I use today is a made-in-Japan work shoe that I brought in from my hometown. Following the advice that this shape would make it difficult for rain and mud to enter and wash, I was finally going to buy the same leather footwear as everyone else.

Leather footwear is called sandals.

Because sandals are sandals, skin exposure is high. I mean, it's a premise to get your feet dirty from the start. During the rainy season, it seemed a woodland lesson to put a water bottle at the front door and clean your legs before going up to the house.

It was me who kept wearing my own shoes because I was afraid of shoe slippage, etc., but the one called Sandals, which is surprisingly sold in this Genos, wasn't uncomfortable. There is nothing unstable at all because the leather belt is wrapped around the ankle and securely secured, and the bottom side is stretched with wooden planks, so there is no durability problem. Exactly what I didn't want until I was cushioned, but on long trips it was that I was using a luggage car, and the strain on my feet didn't seem to bother me enough.

With my new rainy season outfit and footwear, I finally bought all my own clothes that I brought in from my hometown.

Well, I've been wearing it for nine months, so it fits when I was getting a lot more tired of t-shirts and shoes. I think it would have been just the right time to change clothes.

When that happens, the only thing left is a white towel for cooking that is wrapped around your head.

In a way, this guy was the hardest to sink. Although cloth and textiles were sold quite a bit to the Inn Town as well, there was a lot of rubbish to the touch and it was hard to find anything to wrap around the head to fit.

So I decided to talk to Jan, the resident cook of Castle Town.

Then, two days after the consultation, I could already have been awarded the ideal item.

It is a pure white fur woven fabric that does not stand feathers like a towel but is thick and soft enough. From what I hear, this seemed to be a so-called sheet, used for bedding rugs in the castle town.

It was a piece of cloth big enough to be used in sheets, so I had it cut and I was able to win a replacement for a white towel along with about ten pieces of stock.

Thus, the form change is complete.

At the end of the rainy season, you will now have to buy a regular outfit to replace your T-shirt. I was secretly wondering what it would be like to have a T-shirt-like outfit rubbed in this white wool fabric.

It should also be noted that I didn't feel like throwing away the T-shirts, towels, etc. after the role, so I decided to keep them safe, along with the top and bottom of the cooking clothes with the "saggiest" logo on them. The underwear, socks, etc. that I once wore were carefully washed and even stuck in my cooking pockets.

Even if I could never go home again - no, that's why it was so extra, because those were important memories to me.

And yet another point existed in Fa's house that should be purchased.

Whatever it was, it was bedding.

This was what I decided to buy with advice from Ai-Fa.

"It's cold at night during the rainy season, so it's something to sleep in a thick piece of cloth. But what I and my family used got old, so I threw it away two years ago"

"Well, what about last year's rainy season?

"I had a hunter's coat, so I was free."

So I decided to buy a bunch of cloths that I had been thinking about buying. Of course, it is for both of us, including the minutes of Ai-Fa. Even Fa's house is the size of the hall there, so it shouldn't have gotten in the way if it was properly folded every day.

Therefore, we are ready for the rainy season.

I've been encouraging firewood reserves since the previous month, and I can buy charcoal for what's missing. There were other projects that needed to be addressed, but that was about all that could be prepared in advance.

That's how the Golden Moon came to an end, and the temperatures twitched down, and it finally began to rain in the morning, and it was cut off that the rainy season was in earnest on the fourth day of the Tea Moon - the eighth day from the ball at the Earl of Dalaim's house.

Even that day, we were working on business in Accommodation Town.

but the customer was more visible and fell off.

In the first place, the very number of people walking down the street is decreasing. There are not so many travellers who deliberately intend to put their feet up in the southeast of Selva at a time when things are often difficult.

The number of stalls in the outdoor area has also decreased to about half. Especially since snack stalls and the like are not commercially available until they are prepared to eat on the roof, it appeared that only stores with such preparations are open.

The sky is covered in gray clouds and the town is smoking white. It is foggy, thin rain. The tone of the stormwater that builds up on the roof hangs on the streets is sad, no matter where. It was like being thrown into a completely strange town just for the lodging town, which was usually bright and bright sunshine.

I'm wearing a new jacket, and I light an iron pan in front of me, so it's not cold at all. But when he watched the blurry streets of colour surrounded by the tones of misty rain he was unfamiliar to hear, a feeling similar to loneliness pushed him unanswered.

(No tricks, this guy's an idle guy)

Even with regard to giva meat and giva dishes being wholesaled in the inn, only this time of year has it been reduced to about 30% of the quantity.

He also squeezed 800 meals of food up to 300 meals at the stall. Just the people who live in Genos and the few travellers who are visiting Genos in an unavoidable situation, it is a look at how many people can be judged for a while.

However, the number of employees has not decreased.

Gaz and Ratz offered to replace the personnel with family members, so they decided to proceed with the training.

Usually, seven trainees were added to the original seven. This should not have made a significant difference in terms of staff costs as training progressed during busy periods.

Joined as new members are the Lady of Matua, the family of Gaz, and the Lady of Meme, the family of Ratz.

The ancient Ginseng members who greet it were me, Tour-Din, Yun-Sudra and Yamir-Ray, as well as the daily member Fay-Baim.

To get used to the job, I was going to have both Matua and Meme work in a row for a while to come, and Bayme, Dagola and Ravitz were going to have the three of them set aside for two days.

In the meantime, on the first day today, I decided to keep the Matua women, and Tul-din kept the meme women. Fay-Beim had it paired with Yamir-Ray, and Yun-Sudra is in charge of the dining room. Speak to Fay-Baim when I or Tour-Din wanted to move, and that seemed like enough.

"You didn't think the first day of training would bump into the first day of the rainy season. Is the house better?

"Yes, it's a lot of inconvenience, but it's every year, so there's no big problem. … different than before is that it takes a lot of work to dry the poitan"

Yes, you need to expose the boiled potatoes to the sun for about an hour to dry and solidify. With so little time for the sun to peek into his face, every house should have been forced to have that much difficulty.

"But if it's for a delicious meal, there's nothing to say. I don't feel like throwing Poitan in the pan right now... and it feels funny and a little fun that every house rushes to dry Poitan when the sun comes out"

While stating so, Matua's daughter smiled with an innocent face.

Both Matua and Meer were still electing young ladies to help with the lodging town. Especially this Matua lady was young, and when I asked her, she was just thirteen years old.

But younger Tour-Din and Limi-Lu also work in the stalls. Lara-Luu and Zwei are about the same age, and well there won't be a problem.

"By the way, you don't have to talk like that to a young man like me. Please treat me like any other young lady."

"So is that. I'm sorry if I made you feel so nice, and I'll make you talk normally."

She seemed to meet everyone on this occasion for the first time, but she didn't look awkward at all. Yet it seems honest and frank, and against the people of the town, it is a wretched nature. Now if I didn't remember things badly, I would have finished my training early.

By the way, just like I was wearing my new jacket, all the women by the woods were dressed for the rainy season.

Only the translucent vale remains intact, feathering a poncho-like jacket on top and a waist roll to the waist about below the knee. They were woven with a whirlpool pattern just like their usual outfits, so colorful things, they weren't like that.

Now when I get out from under the roof, I wear a giva fur cloak. However, to distinguish it from the hunter's clothing, the cloak was made the other way around, and the hairless surface was dyed red and green with flower juice.

They are colorful there, such as those finished monochromatic, those with elaborate patterns like tie-dye dyes, or those with multiple colors scattered like camouflage patterns.

So, the scratchy fur is just as soft as the rug and so on, and that also provides insulation from the inside out.

The cloak was well made to the hood, so the upper body seemed to have to be barely wet if it was even wrapped around it. The lower body is also moist and foggy, so when you enter the house, you can just change the waist roll.

"Oh, that's downright depressing weather! If you want to go down, go down, give me something I can get down!

And, with a lively voice, there were customers rushing into the rain in the stall.

He is a customer of Jagal, grated with the hood of a leather cape. All this time they also had to dress like the people of Sim, their natural enemies.

"Good luck. It's hard to work in the rain."

"Oh, totally! I can do business under the roof, as long as I envy you guys!

From that standpoint, is it an architect or something, not a pedestrian? Jagal customers once again peeked into the contents of the iron pan after stating their displeasure about the rain.

"So, what's the dish today? That smells delicious!

"Today, it's a simmering dish made with tau beans. I also use tau oil for flavoring, so it's great for Jagals."

In addition to tau beans, Chach and Nennon are also used as ingredients. The stock was made from dried seagrass, which was sweet and spicy seasoned with tau oil and sugar and nyatta distilled liquor.

Not only is it tau oil, but sugar and nyatta distilled liquor should also be from Jagal, so it could be in the mouth of the people of the south. Nyatta distilled liquor, similar to sake in Japan, is still ideal for simmering dishes.

"This guy's good! It's already a hassle to go around the other stalls, so give him three red copper coins! And then I'll ask for that bun."

"Yes, this will be two red copper coins"

From the next stall, Fay-Baim has turned one of 'Giba-Man'.

Receiving a dish of stewed dishes and accompaniments of baked fuwano, the customer ran off under the roof of the cafeteria, not blue sky, while hiding inside the cape.

With the exception of the daily menu for which I am in charge, the other stalls have made the same contribution as before. However, the accompanying poitan has just been changed to Fuwano.

Since it is finally a full rainy season from today, it is also in the future that vegetables to be sold in the Inn Town will change. Tino and Tarapa can only be used until their current harvest anymore, so they shrugged away with what was stored in the warehouse in Dalaim for a while, and from about half a month later it seemed that vegetables for the rainy season would finally be put up for sale.

In the meantime, Poitan alone could not secure a commercial share - or if we abused our privileged capital to monopolize Poitan, it was likely to cause a great deal of opposition from the people of the town, so it was a policy to keep up the footprint and start using Fuwano.

Fuwano is originally about 1,5 times more expensive than Poitan, and will increase another 50% to 10% during the rainy season. Since it seems to be the shops themselves who want to reflect it in the price, or reduce the amount of fuwano, or use the same amount to aim for a thin profit, we chose the thin profit path of the same price for the same amount as when we were in Poitan.

Naturally, the cost ratio will go up, so the net income will fall considerably. Moreover, the foot is expected to decline from about half to a third. I guess I'll just have to put up with all this because it's only two months in a year.

"Nevertheless, it's a tremendous story that Poitan will be sold out. That's also the effect of Asta finding a way to eat Poitan deliciously, isn't it?

"Yeah. It was more than anything I could get enough to eat around the woods. In case you don't have enough, I'm going to buy Fuwano at Fa's house."

However, I had already ordered a sufficient number of reserved meals for me to eat by the woods. And then there shouldn't be enough unless an incident occurs over the field.

However, once they had been arranged to buy in bulk at Fa and Luu, they were supposed to twist their heads in the way of distribution. Instead of every family buying in stores, they were forced to take the form of Fa and Lu humans bringing them back to the woodland settlements and distributing them to each family.

On the way home from business like this, we get Poitan from Dora's dad. Take it back to the settlement and receive and distribute the copper coins from each clan. Moreover, since Fa's house is often absent by family members, it was decided that the place of distribution would be narrowed down to a single Lew family.

You can get the families far away from home to use a luggage truck, and besides, most houses will be able to pass in a shorter time in the settlement of Lew than in the boarding town. Locally, the fact that the Lew family is farther away than the boarding town was thought to be about the people living in the north side of the central area around Sung and Ravitz.

(I'm bummed about making that arrangement, but once it's in place, it won't be a problem starting next year)

This year, however, there were other cases that should have bothered my mind.

Needless to say, it is one of the openings that paves the way for the woodland.

During the rainy season it is not possible to harvest the fuwano, so the slaves of Turan are left free. Normally, that would be assigned to repairs to the fence protecting Turan, but this time it was decided that the opening of the woodland would be dared, as suggested by a merchant in the east named Kukuruel.

It is a magnificent attempt not only to Genos, but also to build a new street connecting Selva, the kingdom of the west, with Sims, the kingdom of the east.

And yet it was also the sales channel that Milan-Math's brother-in-law and Leite boy's father had been contemplating establishing about ten years ago.

If this attempt is successful, it will allow Selva and Sims to come and go in a shorter and safer time than before. By doing so, it was supposed to be Genos, the starting point for its streets, that would benefit the most in Selva's territory. That is why Malstein, Lord of Genos, also made the decision to embark on such a daunting construction.

The work has already begun.

The harvest of Fuwano was completed full of gold moon, so construction began at the same time as it entered the tea moon.

In other words, it was supposed to be still by the woods today that a large number of the people of the north were engaged in harsh work.

(It seems to have taken a lot of work to put the construction steps on. Really, Dari-Sutty is tired)

The opening can proceed eastward from the southern edge of the settlement. Therefore, the head of the construction and the head of the construction was entrusted to Dali-Souti, who was the head of Saouti, who covered the house at the south end of the woodland.

The people of Mahydra, who number more than a hundred, and the guards of the town who monitor it. So Dari-Sautti had to carefully set the stage so that they could all get on with their work safely. That must have been a lot of hard work.

And also, I myself had been approached by Dari-Sauti for consultations.

Details have not yet been given, but after today's business, they wanted us to stop by the settlement of Sauti.

What the hell can I do in this situation?

I didn't know that, but of course there was no difference on my side. I was just wondering in what way the construction was going on, and besides - I was concerned about the news of a person named Eleo-Cher.

Eleo-Cher is the brother of Chiffon-Cher, who works as a samurai at Count Turan's house.

Shortly before we celebrated the Sun God's Easter, I was only to face him once in this lodging town. He was driven by work to expand the space in the outdoor area.

Golden brown hair and purple eyes. And with burnt red copper skin in the day, he was a great big man. If the height is equal to that of Donda-Lou and the thickness of the body is more than that, would that scale be conveyed a little?

He was chained to his legs and put to work as a slave.

And when he snuck out of his place of work, he snuck up to me and asked me, "How's my sister Chiffon-Cher doing?"

They've heard from the guards that I've visited Count Turan's house.

So he asked me about his sister, who broke up years ago.

(I guess treating the people of the North as slaves is the policy not only of Genos but of Selva as a whole, so there's nothing I can do about it... I don't know if I can help them because something, at all...)

I felt a strong debt to a woman named Chiffon-Cher.

When I was exposed to Count Turan's residence, the caretaker was appointed to take care of me on various occasions.

Especially when I tried to escape recklessly, he secretly cooperated with me whilst complaining about the danger. If you let me get away with it, you might get yourself whipped, but she still helped me escape.

After she and Leflaia were moved, the opportunity to face each other was lost.

But that's why I feel unnecessarily benevolent and sorry for Chiffon-Cher.

(Of course, I guess wanting to help them is just my thoughts...... I don't know if I can do something about it)

When I thought of it that way, a long figure stood in front of the stall.

Looking up, a familiar face nods from behind the hood.

"Oh, Radajid, welcome. Thank you every day."

"Yes. This dish, what is it?

"This is a Jaguar-style dish made with tau beans and more. If you wish, I will bring you the fruit of a chit that has been crushed."

"Be sure, please. Half a serving, please."

'Giva Curry' is available for sale in the next stall, so I guess I can put that one in the main.

Radajid has spoken even more as he paid the Matua women for the copper coins.

"The rainy season, it's here. Still, Schmiral, is it in the woods?

"Yes. Even the rain doesn't seem to change the hunter's job. The harvest just seems to fall."

"I'm worried. It should rain, hounds, feel, dull."

"Yeah, but that's the same thing with Gibba, so I don't think it's going to be extremely dangerous...... and I heard it based on what Schmiral was saying"

Yes, Schmiral became a family by the woods, and more than ten days had passed, and I had barely had a chance to exchange words.

The house of Lilyn, where Schmiral lives, is located quite south of the family of Luu. So Fa's house is more on the north side than Luu's settlement, so unless you flaunt your feet from yourself, you can't even face it.

I only dared to do it once. Only on the holidays following the ball.

With Schmiral in the woods from Jomtien to evening, it was difficult to match time on one day of business.

Besides, Schmiral is currently struggling to get Mr. Lilyn. I was tempted to visit you under Schmiral because I'm just worried, and I wasn't feeling well. Originally, unless it was a clear matter of business for the people of the woods, there was not much of a lesson in visiting the house.

That's the same thing with Vina-Lou, she can't seem to stop sighing day after day. It is quite serious because it is a story of being scolded by Mother Meer Ray because of too much sighing. Among the sisters, especially around Lara-Luu, he looked so worried about such Vina-Lu.

"But I have business at a house near Lilyn's today, so I'm going to take a look at her face on my way home. I'll tell you tomorrow what Schmiral looked like."

"Thank you. Thank you very much, Asta."

Saying so, Radajid lowered his eyes to his surprise.

"We're going home to Sims, in about ten days. Before that, even once, do we exchange words, can't we?

"No, if it's morning or evening, we should be able to get some time there too. Let's talk to Lilyn's parents."

"Yes, please"

That's how Radajid also ordered 'Giva Curry' before leaving for the dining room.

The Silver Kettle was delayed from returning for only half a month at the convenience of Schmiral, so all half of the stay was supposed to hit the rainy season.

Well, it is not inconvenient to do business with the people of the castle town, which is the main business, but it seems that the hand-sale business in the lodging town is quite a tough situation. If there are so few passers-by, that makes sense too.

But the Radajids don't blame Similar for it, they worry about its cheapness. I guess that's how bonded it is that Schmiral was allowed to leave his place in The Silver Pot even if he switched God to Western God.

(But you're going to be separated from all those Radajids for about ten months.... Is Schmiral doing well with the Lilyn people)

After all, rain is what makes people annoyed.

Staring at the pouring rain, I managed to let myself swallow the sigh that was about to spill.
