90 Change in Power

“What did you say? So....are you saying that Yang Luoyang gave Yang Jin’s chamber to Yang Ning for her to use it? Are you sure you aren’t mistaken about it?” Chang Ah was in disbelief when Xing Bao informed her about the changes occurring in the household while she was busy getting her full body massage in the morning.

After getting the massage and changing into her new dress, Xing Bao came running from outside and reported to her the shocking changes that were occurring in the Yang Household.

How can that be possible? Yang Luoyang adores Yang Jin so much and loves him more than Yang Ning since he is going to take over the Yang Household and will continue the lineage of the Yang Family.

There is no way that he will give Yang Jin’s chamber to Yang Ning. Never!

“Yes, Madam. Not only have the workers moved things from the Young Master’s chamber to Yang Ning’s room but also they are now decorating the new chamber of Yang Ning according to her choices.” Xing Bao reported her.

“What? Why are you informing me about it only now? Why didn’t you tell me anything about it earlier?” Chang Ah yelled at her and was frustrated that she didn’t tell her about it until now.

It’s not like she went outside to get a massage. She was in her chamber the whole morning and was getting a full body massage. If something big was happening in the Household, Xing Bao should have informed her earlier about it.

Why didn’t she say a word until now? It’s already afternoon now and she is saying that they have moved the things of Yang Jin out of his room already. Why didn’t she do anything to stop this from happening?

Xing Bao held her head low and was startled by Chang Ah’s sudden outburst. She was in a delighted mood a minute ago after the full body massage and now she was yelling and hollering at her like a mad woman.

Chang Ah frowned at her words and asked, ” What? What do you mean by putting her in charge of the household? Aren’t you the Head Maid of the household, shouldn’t you be the one in the supervisory position instead?”

” Also, why are you calling her Lady Yu Ling? She is just a court lady, a maid. Why are you being so formal while talking about her?” Chang Ah couldn’t believe that Xing Bao was addressing Yu Ling as a lady. She doesn’t show this much respect to Yang Ning, why is she being so formal towards that mere court lady?

Xing Bao pursed her lips in embarrassment and said, ” I am the Head Maid of the Household, however, the Lord had asked me to follow the lead of Lady Yu Ling.”

” She is not only in charge of the moving of the chambers but also the whole household as well, at least until she stays at the Household with us.”

Xing Bao didn’t answer her question about why she addressed Yu Ling so formally. Because it is humiliating to reveal that she had been defeated by a mere court lady in her territory.

Chang Ah was speechless and scoffed in incredulity, ” Has this man gone crazy? What is he doing by giving so much power to that bitch? I am the Mistress of the Household and yet he put someone else in charge of the Household?”

“Who is she after all? Is she trying to win him over with her fake elegance? She is such a bitch. I am sure she is trying to seduce him and was making him do all of this. I will not let that wench do whatever she likes at my house. Not under my nose at the least.” Chang Ah’s face turned crimson in fury as she couldn’t believe that the woman, who came only yesterday, had changed so many things in the household.

Until now, only she had the power to do anything in the household and no one dared to question her authority. However, now someone else is in charge of that power and authority.

How can she let her do whatever she wants? Before doing anything, Yu Ling will have to deal with her.

” I will not let that woman do whatever she wants. Let’s go! I will also see what scheme they’re cooking against me.” Chang Ah dashed out of the chamber in rage.

Xing Bao let out an exhausted sigh as she didn’t want to face Yu Ling at the moment, but she had no choice either. Eventually, she also followed Chang Ah out of the chamber, in the hope that things will take a turn in their favor and Chang Ah will manage to control the unruly Yu Ling.

“Lady Yang Ning, Your chamber has been arranged now. Please come inside and take a look. If you don’t like anything, you can tell me and I will change it according to your taste.” Yu Ling invited Yang Ning inside the new chamber and asked her to give her any suggestions if she would like to change something.

Yang Ning followed Yu Ling inside the chamber which used to belong to Yang Jian, which is going to be hers from now. She had looked at this chamber from the outside only, however, it was her first time stepping inside the chamber and looking around room.

“This....This is so beautiful!” Yang Ning exclaimed in disbelief to see the chamber which is going to be hers from now on.

She doesn’t know how this chamber used to look before but now it looks so luxurious and expensive, no less than a princess’s bedroom.

Unlike her previous Chamber, the new room was filled with customized artistic lamps and lanterns to brighten the room at night. The walls were painted with a beautiful and subtle peachy yellow color to brighten the gloomy room even in the daytime and give positive energy to the chamber.

The beautiful paintings that Yu Ling ordered and came to a while ago, were now hanging on the walls of the chamber, giving the aesthetic and imperial feel, filling up the empty chamber.

The curtains were changed to satin material which changed the overall look of the interior, making the chamber looks royal yet delicate at the same time.

Yang Ning was awed as she wasn’t expecting so many things to change in such a short time. It wasn’t just a large and spacious new chamber but it had all the things that Yang Ning never got to experience before.

The chamber she used to live in before used to give gloomy and dark energy, on the other hand, this new chamber was making her feel like a whole new person.

It is giving her positive and happy vibes, making her feel great and energetic.

Yu Ling really did a great favor to her by making her life, even more, happier than before. At least she won’t be leaving this world by being unhappy with everyone.

If she goes back now, she will miss Lady Yu Ling and Xiaowei alot, and sometimes Zheng Liang as well. He is the handsome male lead of the novel after all. How can she forget him?

While Yang Ning was looking around her new chamber in a daze and was amazed by the arrangement, Chang Ah interrupted her happy moment with her annoying and screeching shriek, ” Yang Ning, What is happening here?”
