Yuuki side

A few days passed and it was Sunday. Since there was no problem except that my memory did not come back, I left the hospital and went to the house where I used to live.

I drove back to the house and looked at it from the outside. It was a somewhat new two-story house, and I thought it looked quite spacious.

I enter the house with a subtle feeling of familiarity, but I don’t know if I recognize it or not.

“You don’t even know where your room is, do you? I’ll show you where it is.”

“Thank you very much.”

“….You don’t have to use honorifics, you know? It’s too formal.”

“I see.”

I followed Shiori san to the second floor, where there are three doors on one side of the room, and I headed toward the one at the far end of the room.

When I reached the door, she said

“Yuuki, you’ll have to use this room for a while.”

“Shiori Nee……”

Riko is looking at Shiori in dismay, and the words “for a while” are a bit tricky. Am I not going to stay in my original room?

Shiori san opened the door and took me inside. The room has a girlish look to it, and the furniture has a cute atmosphere. Is this really my room?

“Shiori san, are you sure this is my room?”

“I usually sleep here. My luggage is in Yuuki’s room next to mine, but when you go to bed, you sleep in my room with me. Do you understand?”

“Well, yeah……”

Maybe I was a siscon. Or a lonely person?

Either way, I think I was a little strange.

After that, I went to my room, but for some reason I felt uncomfortable with the fact that there was a bed, so I asked Shiori about it, and she was very good at evading my questions.

I felt Riko was staring at me from behind, but maybe it was just my imagination.

After checking the bathroom, toilet, and other places I should know, I returned to my room. I was a little tired, so I decided to rest in my room.

I was somewhat embarrassed to go to Shiori san’s room, so I came to my room just to rest a bit.

“So this is my room.”

I looked around my room once again. After all, I feel like I don’t know anything here, and I’m a little restless.

Fragments of memories are gathered, but they do not fit together and are scattered around like pieces of a puzzle that have fallen apart.

It’s not like I’m trying to force my memory back from a state of no memory, neither is my family.

There is no need to rush, but not being able to remember anything is unsettling. And I have mixed feelings when I think that when my memory comes back, I may lose my current memories.

“Well, it’ll turn out the way it’s supposed to…right?”

I told myself that things would work out, and I decided to sleep for a bit.

☆☆☆

I wake up to the sound of crows cawing. Rubbing my eyes, I sit up and realize that it is already evening and that there is another person sleeping next to me.

(This is Riko’s room…or it wasn’t? In this house, the sleeping area and your own room are separate, right?)

Not knowing what’s going on, I sneak off the bed, slowly walk to the door and open it slowly so as not to make any footsteps noise.

I go straight out and slowly close the door again.

“Phew…this house is kind of strange.”

“What’s strange, Yuuki Nii?”

“Whoa !”

When I closed the door and walked out while muttering that, Riko san was standing behind me without making a sound.

I’m pretty sure she was asleep earlier,…..or maybe she’s awake.

“So, what’s strange?”

“No, nothing. Nothing.”

“Really? Well, okay. Let’s go downstairs.”

I wonder if she had asked me that question on purpose to be mean, but she seemed uninterested in my answer and went downstairs.

The closer you get downstairs, the more and more you start to smell the good smell. What is this smell?

When I opened the living room door, Shiori san was in the middle of bringing in food from the kitchen.

“Oh Yuuki, you’re awake. Let’s eat.”

“Yeah, okay.”

It looks like omurice today. I’m curious that only one heart is drawn, but other than that it looks delicious as usual. Shiori san seems to be good at cooking.

Speaking of which, I haven’t seen my parents. Curious, I asked Riko san.

“Um, what about Mom and Dad?”

“Ah…they seem to be busy today, so I think they’ll be home late.”

“I see. Thank you.”

Are they busy with work? Of course, with three children, it can be difficult.

The fact that they’re coming home late means that the three of us will be eating dinner together.

“What are you two talking about? It’s ready, let’s eat.”

“Yes”

“Yuuki, come here.”

“Eh, there?”

“That’s right”

I didn’t expect it, but it seems that the heart-shaped omurice is mine. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a thing before.

It did not look like a maid cafe, so I ate my omurice with nothing in particular. By the way, everything in the line was delicious.

I took a bath, prepared for tomorrow, and headed to Shiori san’s room.

I decided to go to bed early today because I would be going to school tomorrow. I wanted to rest my body because I was sure that I would be tired at school.

When I arrived, Shiori san was already in bed, and she urged me to come in, so I turned off the light and followed her into bed.

“Yuuki, school starts tomorrow, but are you okay? You don’t have to force yourself.”

“I think I’ll be fine. I just hope I don’t cause any trouble for my friends and stuff…”

“No one can do bad things to Yuuki. If someone does that again, this time…”

“Shiori san?”

“Ah, I’m sorry. Phew…let’s go to sleep now.”

When Shiori san said that, she hugged me from behind and I couldn’t calm down. ……But after a while, I felt somewhat nostalgic rather than relieved, and despite my anxiety about tomorrow, I was able to fall asleep quickly.
