514 512 Temporary farewell

We were discussing future action when we defeated Wight King, Greater Venom Gast as a finishing touch.

"What's Fran going to do now?

"Hmm? Master?

"That's right."

It doesn't mean I have to do something. I have a lot to do.

"As far as I'm concerned, Alistair asked me to teach mock warfare. You're a little interested. '

I'm more interested in schools than in requests. Well, now Fran won't even mention he wants to go to school.

Fran's overriding purpose is to get stronger and break the Black Cat curse. For that purpose, going to school is a long way off.

It's just that it's valuable to get in touch with your age even for a few moments, and maybe Fran will be interested in school.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm in favor of Fran going to school. I'm not going to actively recommend it, but if Fran says he wants to go through, I have nothing against it.

Well, including that, we need to experience something called school first.

"I'm interested, too"

"Oh? Really?

Could you have had a desire to go to school? That's what I thought, but they had different spearheads of interest.

"Mm-hmm. I'd like to see a high elf."

"Is that what you mean?"

"The strongest species in the world. Interested"

After all, Fran's interest seemed more suited to combat. But if Fran wants to go, he's decided on his next destination.

"Well, why don't we head to the magic school in the kingdom of Berrios"

"Mmm."

"Then give me Atashi's letter of introduction. Take this and you won't be waiting for days before you meet Weena Lane"

"Is Weena Lane the name of the high elf?

"Yes."

Still, they wait for days? I hear that happens when you meet a grand nobleman...... From the title of dean of the School of Magic, I thought he would be a great man, but he seems to be bigger than I imagined.

"The School of Magic recognizes autonomy. Weena Lane is like a lord in a way. I won't be seeing you soon without a letter of introduction."

"What kind of person?

"Uh right...... The basics are serene people. It looks more like a troll. Sometimes, however, they can swing around with thoughtful or abrupt behavior. I just don't mean any harm. So don't worry. 'Cause he's just a little weird."

I'm not at all comfortable with that.

Swinging around, no malice, but weird high elves. Not a bad tach?

"I also know you'll be worried. But he's basically a good guy. In fact, he runs the School of Magic for hundreds of years and is even revered by many humans. Well, a lot of people resent me..."

So don't add the last word that makes me anxious!

"Something's making me want to go."

"Well, don't say that. How's Fran?

"Mm-hmm. High-elf sounds interesting. I want to see you."

"That's right."

"Ku"

Fran wants to see you!

'Okay...'

Then you need to be ready to cross the border. What's going on with the procedure around there? Ask Amanda, she'll have no problem with a Rank B Adventurer card.

"Well, border security is pretty tight because we're in contact with the Reids kingdom, so I'd recommend going through the checkpoint nicely."

"Okay."

"Is it also a wall?

"That's not true. But the immigration records should be well managed, so be careful."

Do you think it would be troublesome if they checked your ID somewhere and didn't have records of you entering the country?

"I really just want to go with Atashi..."

"Didn't we finish investigating the fanatical sword?

"That's what I haven't done yet. Ex-Marquis Ashtoner is still under investigation."

They're supposed to quantify the material left over from Marquis Ashtoner's territory, along with the Gauls.

I thought it would be so easy to show you the material of the divine sword that the country manages, but what a story they've already talked to the king about.

"Is it okay to identify yourself that easily to the country?

The king of the kingdom of Kranzel is not the crusty type like the king of beasts. In some cases, is it possible to try to make people listen to what they say?

I thought so, but it was Amanda who denied it.

"It's okay. You met the king on Garth's introduction, didn't you? Just to be clear, I wouldn't imitate a leading blacksmith and a divine blacksmith in the current situation, all of them turning to their enemies. Besides, if you're a decent country, you're not gonna get your hands on a divine blacksmith."

"Why?"

"I don't know what kind of magic prop you have, and I don't know what kind of handover you have. You're pretty sure there's a connection between countries and famous adventurers just because you're not on the table, right?

So if you try to surround a divine blacksmith, that's the only way you could possibly turn various places against your enemies.

"Besides, solving the problem of fanatical swords is a top priority in this country as well. If that copy comes out, the same thing could happen again. At least until the confusion subsides, I'll treat you politely."

"That sort of thing. And don't worry, I'll keep you connected to Alistair."

If Amanda were to turn to the enemy too, Alistair would finally be out of her hands.

"So don't worry"

"Okay."

When Fran nods to Alistair's words, he bows his head deeply on the spot.

"Amanda. Alistair. Thank you."

Amanda and the others smile as they look at it. Happy, but somewhere lonely. I guess it's because I know this is a goodbye greeting.

"That was fun."

"And Atashi."

Flan, with her head up, jumps on a urchin that has changed to about the size of a horse.

"Come see me again, will you?

Of course.

"Atashi faces the School of Magic when the investigation is over"

"Mm-hmm. Waiting."

I usually put up with more parting grief, but this time it was surprisingly dry. Strong gratitude, but not so sad.

We've been together for a while, and both Amanda and Alistair have already broken up and reunited several times. Maybe you've gotten used to that relationship.

Plus, I'm sure I'll meet these two again. Maybe it's because Fran feels it, too, that she feels like a temporary goodbye.

"Both of you, blah blah"
