The dungeon was quite lively as soon as we entered, with various adventurers hanging out and some preparing to go deeper into the dungeon.

I wondered why they were not preparing before entering the dungeon, but I assumed that they had something on their minds as well, so I ignored them and proceeded deeper and deeper into the dungeon.

It seems that this dungeon is a natural dungeon, and there are endless monsters roaming around. ……, but so far there are no monsters to be found in the dungeon.

There are many people here, and I considered the possibility that this place was a safe zone, but in the end we weren’t sure about that, so I decided to go slowly, letting Alena have the map.

“They are not showing up. There are quite a lot of other adventurers in here ……”

“The first level of a dungeon is relatively safe. Besides, monsters don’t appear in crowded places like this.”

“Just like in a game.”

“A ge-mm?”

I don’t know, I don’t think I’m familiar with a games like that.

Or rather, I think there were a lot of that kind of games.

Perhaps it is not that there were many, but the games were well-known. ……

So, I’m not going to lower my defense, even if it’s just a level one.

I glanced at Alena’s mapping tool and saw that she was doing a good job of it.

I’m not sure how it works, but I think it’s will make it easy to create a map.

However, without anything like this, I feel like we are just exploring a cave.

It would be fine as long as it is safe. …… But I would like to fight against enemies in the dungeon if possible.

I’ve never fought in a small space before.

So fighting here would be a good experience for me.

So, I want to go to the bottom of the dungeon quickly, but I can’t see anything like stairs ……

It was almost a straight line.

There was nothing.

This saves us the trouble of drawing a map.

That is not what I meant.

We’ve gone quite deep, but there’s not even a single passageway, let alone a staircase!

There should be at least a few bats. ……

“There’s nothing here.”

“It’s been straight for a while.”

“Hmm? Alena and Uchikage came here once, right?”

“Yeah. we took the same path last time. We wnt to second floor, but we only went down to the stairs, so I don’t know what’s beyond that.”

It seems that the area from the second level is truly undiscovered by them.

Maybe not so much unknown as undiscovered, …… but for me and Reizen, anything is new and fresh for us.

“What a long straight line. …… is it really necessary to go this far? What a waste of space.”

“I can’t say for sure if it’s necessary or not, but it’s a natural cave, so let’s not worry about that.”

After several minutes of walking from the entrance, we finally found what appeared to be a stairway down to the second level.

Apparently, Alena and Uchikage did not think it was this far when they came here, so they went down to the second level, looked around, and immediately turned around.

The staircase, however, seemed to have been installed only on the first level, and there would be no more staircase-like structures after this point.

I heard that the level of difficulty is low, but it still seems to offer a full-scale dungeon experience.

Studying the basics here might not be a bad idea.

The stairs were not very long, and we soon descended to the second level.

As soon as I reached the second level, I saw two separate paths.

“Alena thinks it’s right.”

“Then left for me.”

Certainly, if it is Reizen, I may be fine on all by himself, but this time it would be better for all of us to be together.

There is no fun in a dungeon where everything is already known.

So, you can’t just go to a dungeon and try to figure out what you need, what kind of enemies there are, and what you need to do about it.

But Reizen may have a different view abuout the dungeon.

After a short while, we came to a slightly larger space.

Here, adventurers who seemed to have come down from the first layer were set up their tents.

They are everywhere.

It seems that this is also a safe zone, and there are stalls amongst the tents.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a safe zone or not anymore. ……

However, if there is a store, I thought it might be possible to buy something here, I glanced at it, but it was only selling accessories, so I decided to proceed quickly.

But Alena stopped me before I could go any further.

“Hey, hey. Where does that cave on the left path before we go down the stairs lead to?”

“Ah, well, I don’t know.”

“There’s no place from here that looks like it might be connected to the cave we just came from, and I think it might be connected to …… somewhere else.”

“Should we go back?”

After saying this, Alena started back the way we had just come.

Thinking that this is really going to take more than a week, the four of us decided to go back the way we came.
