Episode 28. Kidnapping (2)

“Heesun-ah.”

“My ability will help. Mom!”

Mom hurriedly appeared.

“Heesun, what’s wrong?”

“Baek Youngsoon and his family were kidnapped. I’ll go find it with Dad.” 

‘Unsealed.’

I used magic right away.

【Barrier】

“I created a barrier that blocks the entire house. No one can enter unless I allow it. Mom, don’t go out until I get back. Okay?” 

Mom seemed confused and worried about me going.

But she nodded her head, perhaps thinking of Baek Youngsoon.

“Dad, let’s go.”

Dad gave a short sigh, but he said.

“Yeah. Let’s go to Daddy’s house We will move through the rooftop there.”

I gave my Mom a nod to show that I was okay, and then I followed Dad.

I saw a helicopter.

“Sit in the passenger seat.”

Dad quickly fastened my seat belt and put my headphones on, and he did the same for himself.

The helicopter took off very quickly.

I thought it would be incredibly loud, but it wasn’t at all.

The seal had been lifted, so I knew exactly what condition it was in.

Several magic, including noise magic, were hung on the helicopter. 

The helicopter flew silently but very quickly to the Department of Ability building.

So he will be safe physically.

In the meeting room, there were many people from the Department of Ability, including Uncle Kim Changho, with serious faces.

Everyone was surprised and happy to see me, but I only greeted them with nods and glances because of the situation.

“Hunter Lee Heesun, please sit here.”

Dad whispered softly and pointed to a chair on the edge of his.

Then I did what he said. 

Dad went to the back of the meeting room and spoke to a female employee with glasses standing in front of the largest monitor. 

“Assistant Lee Parkhee, please report.” 

“Twenty minutes ago, our hunter used the tracking skill and located Hunter Baek Youngsoon and his parents. But there is a problem.” 

Lee Parkhee, an employee wearing glasses, turned on the monitor with the remote control.

“This is a satellite image from three minutes ago.”

It was taken from high in the sky.

I saw a ship floating on the sea.

It was a fishing boat large enough for about twenty people.

The words 40°31’59.8″N 130°58’16.7″E were written at the bottom.

“It’s on the sea, the ships are moving fast, and the distance is too far for our movement skill hunters to reach. The Coast Guard was immediately dispatched, but judging by the speed of the vessel, it will enter Russian waters before the Coast Guard arrest them.” 

“Have you contacted Charina?”

Dad replied with an annoyed look.

“Yes. Of course.”

It was a few seconds after my dad rang the number.

After ending the call, Dad explained briefly.

“Movement skills can only be used in spaces you have seen before. Let’s go.” 

Dad opened the door and took a picture of the meeting room with his cell phone.

He told the other staff as he sent the photo right away.

“Bring Hunter Yoon Boae and Yoon Seokae. Cherokee will come soon, check the ship, and we will leave together.” 

Then Cherokee appeared next to me.

Everyone, including me, opened their eyes wide.

That’s because—.

“(Aren’t you going to put on some clothes soon?!)”

It was because Cherokee was naked!

The smile and mischief completely disappeared from Cherokee’s face.

Cherokee pointed to the monitor.

Cherokee called someone on the cell phone in his hand.

He handed his cell phone to Dad.

“(Hello, Minister of Defense. I am Lee Beomjin, Minister of Korea’s Department of Ability. A Korean hunter and his family were kidnapped, and I asked Cherokee for assistance. I need detailed photos or videos of the ship. The current location of the ship is…).” 

Lee Parkhee just showed him the note she wrote in a hurry.

Dad said.

“They say they will connect you to the satellite soon. Please check.”

Lee Parkhee nodded and operated the tablet PC.

After waiting for a while, a much clearer and more detailed image of the ship appeared on the monitor.

“(This is good enough.)”

Cherokee took the cell phone back from Dad’s hand and told the opponent.

Assistant Lee Parkhee gave Dad, the twin Hunters, and Cherokee something like Bluetooth earphones.

The right side of the twins asked, wondering, and Dad answered.
