“I see… he’s serious.” (Gildan)

Gildan-san muttered as he heard my words.

I was a bit confused upon hearing his words that might have some meaning behind them.

Dan is serious and I think he has quite a high ability. He is also still young, but he already shows promise in being an adventurer. From Gildan-san—does he see something else from a parents’ perspective?

Making a name for yourself as an adventurer…? What exactly will that give me?

If our meaning of the concept is the same, it means that I will be known and famous as an adventurer by various people, but when asked if I want to be in that position, I am not very interested in it… It seems to be something that would immediately become troublesome.

If I was a Japanese in the Sengoku Period, there would have been no hesitation. For me from modern Japan, there is something that doesn’t come to my mind.

“He could have been a great blacksmith. I can guarantee that. But he took a path towards being an adventurer. I’m a bit regretful for that.” (Gildan)

After that, for about a month, I worked energetically in various adventurer activities, such as receiving requests and subjugating monsters.

To the north of Rankfurt is the El Sheep’s territory, which is a good source of income for adventurers in this town, and we have been hunting for El Sheeps many times.

El Sheeps are full of raw materials all most of their whole body can be used. So the whole monster can be sold. I don’t have to disassemble it because I can sell it whole, but at the same time, I have to take it home as it is. So I had to rent a cart like a small carriage or a rear car, which was a pain, but the pay was more than worth it.

As the number of monsters increased, the rate of encounters increased, and our income increased more than usual.

While restraining my excitement, I went inside and searched for books starting from the edge of the shelf.

Holy Wind. The title [Holy Wind Grimoire] comes to my mind.

this is… I wonder why it was in such a place… It’s a blind spot, I never thought it would be in such a place.

I’ll check it with my hand.

Then, the moment I held it in my hand, I realized that my hand and the book were connected with magic, and I was convinced that this was a real grimoire.

I took note of it and searched the whole store for anything else, but there was no other grimoire. Of course, that’s as far as I can tell.
