After dealing with one of them, Kakashi had no intention of stopping as he chased the remaining four with Chidori.

Two, three, four.

Kakashi caught up with them one by one and immobilized them.

The distance between Kakashi and the last person grew closer and closer. Facing such a situation, the leader of Iwagakure Shinobis seemed to give up on running and decided to fight Kakashi instead.

“Water Release – Water Dragon Bullet Technique!”

But before he could finish the hand seal, Kakashi’s Chidori had already pierced through his body.

“Kakashi, you don’t even leave one for me? Come on!” Midori Inuzuka pouted the moment she discovered Kakashi had already dealt with them all.

Just like Kakashi, she had been beaten up for nearly two months, so she really wanted to beat someone up to vent her anger.

If she couldn’t beat Nagasawa, she could only vent his anger on these ignorant enemies.

“I have to prevent them from running away after all,” Kakashi said lightly.

“Of course, I know! I was just complaining.” Midori Inuzuka immediately retorted.

After rounding up all the Iwagakure Shinobis who could no longer move, Kakashi asked Konoha sentries earlier, “What’s going on?”

The sentry Shinobi looked at Kakashi gratefully, “Thank you very much for your timely backup, but we don’t know what’s the deal with these Iwagakure Shinobis. We were on duty here, and they suddenly rushed in and tried to kill us.”

The Konoha sentry went on with his own hypothesis, “I suspect that they want to continue the war. They break the peace treaty!”

The Iwagakure Shinobi on the ground mocked, “So what? The treaty is just a piece of paper. Earning peace by signing the treaty is just your wishful thinking.”

“You!” one of the Konoha sentries immediately punched the Iwagakure Shinobi, but Ensui stopped him.

Ensui was afraid that the sentry would accidentally kill him. Besides, this whole thing seemed like a déjàvu to him.

Why did this seem awfully similar to Nagasawa’s plan in Kusagakure?

“Don’t fall into the enemy’s trap. These five people may not necessarily be Iwa Shinobis. There’s also a chance that they just disguised themselves as Iwa Shinobis to destroy our relationship with Iwagakure. We have to be careful.” Ensui calmly analyzed.

Kakashi nodded as he also had a sense of déjàvu.

These five Iwagakure Shinobis did not look anything like typical Iwagakure Shinobi, except for their forehead protector and cloth.

When Kakashi disguised himself as Iwagakure Shinobi, he at least used Earth Style Wall, an Earth-Release. However, this group of Shinobi did not use Earth Release whatsoever.

Kakashi used Sharingan to observe the surroundings, and suddenly found Shuriken who was stuck on the wooden board.

After pulling the Shuriken out and looking at the Iwagakure Shinobi, Kakashi calmly said, “They can’t be Iwagakure Shinobis. This Shuriken is not the Iwagakure Shinobi’s Shuriken.”

He had fought Iwagakure Shinobi on the battlefield, but he did not recognize the Ninja Tool in these enemies’ possession.

Although it might be to confuse the enemy, they should’ve also used another country’s Ninjutsu as well.

But judging from the looks of it, these fake Iwagakure Shinobis seemed like they were going to start a war with Konoha, and if they did not even change their forehead protector and uniform, why could they change their Shuriken?

In addition to the Ninjutsu problem, Kakashi was certain that these people were definitely not  Iwagakure Shinobis.

Ensui also nodded and said, “I also feel that something is off with them. They should not be from Iwagakure, but some other countries or organizations with ulterior motives.”

The Rock Shinobis that heard the conversation panicked and quickly refuted, “Hehe, we’re bonafide Rock Shinobi, not a fake.

Midori Inuzuka smiled and said, “It seems that you are right. He is panicking.”

Kakashi swiftly knocked out all Iwagakure Shinobis, saying, “I’m afraid this is not a simple matter anymore. It is not something we can solve by ourselves. We should quickly hand them over to Squad Leader Nagasawa.”

Kakashi knocked out the fake Iwagakure Shinobis to prevent them from committing suicide. Although Konoha had a secret technique that could extract information even from corpses, the living could provide more information.

“That’s right.” Ensui nod.

Immediately, the three of them left the sentries and went to Anbu Base.

Before leaving, Kakashi also asked the sentries to inform Minato.

This was not a trivial matter, and luckily Kakashi and the others came in time.

If the fake Iwagakure Shinobi managed to kill the three Konoha sentries earlier and deliberately left some fake trace on the crime scene, it would be more difficult to investigate.

At Anbu base.

Looking at the five fake Iwagakure Shinobis in front of him, Nagasawa was speechless. He smiled and said, “Is this karma or what? We just disguised ourselves as Iwagakure Shinobi while we were in Kusagakure, and now someone decides to copy my trick?”

“Then again, I already expected that someone would make a move sooner or later. I didn’t expect they they send these trash. There’s not even a single Jonin among them, they sure take Konoha lightly.”

“They probably just wanted to attack the sentry, but they didn’t expect to encounter us.” Ensui analyzed.

“It doesn’t matter. It just so happens that you guys are getting tired of the patrol mission, right? This time, we may have a good fight.” Nagasawa said indifferently.

At this stage, as long as Konoha did not suffer any major loss, the other Four Great Shinobi Countries basically did not dare to make any moves.

After all, they had just been beaten up, and it was still painful. Konoha had suffered great losses, and their losses were not small either.

Basically, it was just some small village or organizations that caused some trouble.

It just so happened that Nagasawa felt that his promotion was too slow, if he got a mission from this, he could be directly promoted to Vice-Commander.

Nagasawa asked the three of them to hand over the fake Iwagakure Shinobis to the Torture and Interrogation Force.

Although he knew that they were not Iwagakure Shinobis, he still had to confirm where they were from.

Let alone the living, Konoha’s Torture and Interrogation Force could even extract the information from the dead. Secret Techniques are no joke indeed.

Nagasawa went to find Minato and wanted to tell him what he was thinking.

He wanted Minato to be strict in this matter, and not let the Third Hokage just dismiss this matter.

Although it was good to recover, you have to be strict if the situation demanded so. Otherwise, others would take Konoha lightly.

If this were the case, then where would Konoha’s reputation as the First Shinobi Village go? So many wars they’ve fought would be in vain.
